An Introduction to IGNOU MA History (MAH) Programme

The M.A. in History programme was created to give students with the chance to pursue higher education in the field of history. Eligibility

Duration

The programme can be completed in two years or less. However, there is some flexibility, and students can complete it in as little as five years.

IGNOU adheres to the credit system. To get an M.A. in History, you must successfully complete 64 credits of coursework. These are spaced out over a two-year period. You must choose 32 credits each year. Students are given one credit for every 30 hours of study time they put in. To finish an eight-credit course, a student will need to invest around 240 hours of study time.
