IGNOU PGDT Handwritten Assignment — All Six MTT TMA Codes, the Foolscap Rule and Both Intake Cut-Offs

Original price was: ₹500.00.Current price is: ₹320.00.

Submission-ready handwritten answer books for IGNOU PGDT, the Post Graduate Diploma in Translation, covering all six MTT papers that carry a Tutor Marked Assignment — MTT-051, MTT-052, MTT-053, MTT-054, MTT-055 and MTT-033 — plus the older PGDT-01 to PGDT-04 papers still on many learner records. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge.

  • Six papers, not seven. The revised PGDT table runs to 40 credits across seven codes, but MTTP 006 is the translation project with a translator’s note. Only six are written out as assignments, so a full year is six subjects.
  • The 30 per cent you cannot sit the exam without. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. A missed paper blocks the term-end form for that course.
  • Written the way SOTST prints it. The live PGDT booklet asks for foolscap sheets, a 4 cm left margin, four blank lines between answers and a separate answer book per course. Shri Chakradhar Publication writes to those instructions, not to a generic A4 template.
  • Your hand, not a stranger’s. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.
  • Hindi is the medium here. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price.
  • Old code sets are fine. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.
  • One paper or all six. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. No soft copy or PDF is sold.
  • Nothing added at checkout. The rate absorbs the courier, the IGNOU-format cover sheet and a copy of the official TMA paper.

Send your codes and session: message +91 93546 37830 on WhatsApp with your codes, session and medium. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Description

In short. This order buys handwritten Tutor Marked Assignment answer books for IGNOU PGDT, the Post Graduate Diploma in Translation run by the School of Translation Studies and Training, written on foolscap sheets in the learner’s own matched hand and couriered as a physical set. The revised PGDT structure carries 40 credits across seven codes — MTT 051, MTT 052, MTT 053, MTT 054 and MTT 055 at six credits each, MTT 033 at four, and the six-credit project MTTP 006 — but the live 2025 assignment booklet issues a TMA for only six of them, because MTTP 006 is a practical translation project with a translator’s note rather than an assignment. Learners admitted before the revision still hold records reading PGDT-01 to PGDT-05, and the four written papers on that older list are covered at the same rate, PGDT-05 being the project report. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.

Six Answer Books, One Question Paper, One Cover Sheet

A completed PGDT order arrives as a stack of separate answer books, one per course code, because that is how the SOTST booklet asks for them: a distinct answer book for each assignment, stapled on its own, never merged into a single bundle. If the order covers all six TMA codes, six separate answer books arrive. If it covers one backlog paper, one arrives.

Alongside the written sheets, each set carries the IGNOU-format cover sheet with the programme title, course code, course title, assignment code and study-centre fields laid out as the booklet specifies, left blank in the places only the learner can fill: enrolment number, name, address, signature and date. A printed copy of the official TMA paper the answers were written against travels with the set, so the codes and question numbers on the sheets can be checked against the source without hunting for a download.

What does not arrive is a file. No soft copy or PDF is sold. The physical set is the product, and it is written to be handed across the counter at a study centre.

Everything ₹320 Absorbs Before You Pay a Rupee More

One PGDT course code is one subject, and one subject is ₹320. That figure already contains the writing, the foolscap paper, the cover sheet, the copy of the question paper and the courier. There is no packing fee, no per-page charge and no surcharge for a longer paper — MTT-055 with two thirty-mark translation passages costs exactly what MTT-051 with ten ten-mark essays costs.

Two things sit outside the rate and are worth naming plainly. The first is the project: MTTP 006 is a practical translation with a translator’s note, assessed as project work, and it is not written as a handwritten assignment under this order. The second is anything the study centre charges or requires locally, which varies by centre and is not within a publisher’s control.

There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. A learner clearing a single carried-forward MTT-054 pays ₹320 and nothing else.

A Downloaded PDF Cannot Be Handed In: Reference File Versus Submitted Set

These two products get confused constantly, so here is the distinction in one line each. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for a course code and session, downloaded and read. A handwritten assignment is those answers written out by hand on paper and submitted in hard copy at the study centre. One is study material. The other is the submission.

The PGDT booklet settles the question of which form is acceptable, and it does so without ambiguity. One of its completion instructions tells the learner to write answers in their own hand and not to print or type them, and it adds that copying from the university’s own units will attract fewer marks while copying from another learner’s answers will have the assignment rejected. A file, however well written, is a source to write from. It is not a submission. Anyone hoping to print a downloaded PDF and hand it in is reading against IGNOU’s own instruction.

Learners who would rather write the papers themselves are better served by the reference route, and the store keeps that separate: the soft-copy PGDT reference answers filed by course code exist for exactly that purpose and are not sold here.

Every MTT Code in the Revised PGDT Table, and the One That Carries No TMA

The IGNOU Common Prospectus for July 2026 prints the revised PGDT structure as seven entries totalling 40 credits, with eligibility set at a bachelor’s degree and the medium of instruction given as Hindi. The prospectus prose describes it as six courses and a project comprising practical translation with a translator’s note, and the credit arithmetic confirms that reading: five courses at six credits, one at four, and the project at six.

Scroll the table sideways on a narrow screen.

Two details in that table matter commercially. MTT 033 is the newest entrant: it is absent from the July 2024 booklet, which covers only the 051 to 055 range, and appears for the first time in the booklet issued for the January and July 2025 intakes. A learner registered before that revision may hold a record with no MTT 033 on it at all. And MTTP 006, at six credits, is the single largest component of the diploma while being the one component this order does not cover, which is why a full PGDT year is priced as six subjects rather than seven.

MTT 033 also belongs to a second programme. The same prospectus lists it, under the same title, inside the PG Certificate in Anuvaad evam Rupantaran mein Snatakottar Pramanpatra, and the only MTT-033 term-end papers held in IGNOU’s own previous-paper archive sit in that certificate’s folder rather than under PGDT. An MTT code on its own therefore does not identify a programme; the prefix is shared across at least six SOTST offerings, from the Sindhi-Hindi diploma to the MA in Translation Studies. Read the codes off your admission record, not off a code list.

If Your Record Says PGDT-01 to PGDT-05 Instead of MTT

IGNOU maintains two live PGDT assignment indexes, and a learner’s own paperwork decides which one applies. The unrevised programme ran on codes written as PGDT-01 through PGDT-05, with PGDT-05 as the project report, and its assignment booklets remain published up to the 2022 cycle. Those papers still turn up on term-end date sheets: the June 2025 date sheet lists PGDT03 as a scheduled paper alongside MTT-series papers from other translation programmes.

Scroll the table sideways on a narrow screen.

Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject, so a learner sitting on an unfinished PGDT-03 from an older cycle is not a special case and is not priced as one. What matters is sending the code exactly as the admission record spells it, because PGDT-03 and MTT-053 are different papers with different questions, and a set written against the wrong booklet is a wasted set.

Four Ways IGNOU Names the Same PGDT Paper, and What Else Does Not Match

Everything below was found by reading IGNOU’s own documents against each other during this build. None of it is a criticism of the university; large programme catalogues drift. It is published here because a learner who does not know about the drift can order against the wrong code.

Disagreements found between IGNOU documents, and one inside a single booklet.

1. Four naming systems for one set of papers. The Common Prospectus prints MTT 051 with a space and three digits. eGyanKosh lists the same course as MTT-051 with a hyphen. The assignment portal’s index for the revised programme labels the whole set “PGDT-51-55 & 33”. The term-end date sheet uses forms such as PGDT03 and MTT032 with no separator at all.

2. The 2025 booklet contradicts itself on how many assignments there are. Its opening paragraph states that one assignment is required under each of six courses, and its date table duly lists six. Instruction 2 on the following page then tells the learner to prepare a separate answer book for each assignment, “so you should have four answer books for your four assignments” — a sentence carried over unchanged from the four-course booklet it replaced.

3. Two booklets structure the deadline differently. The 2022 booklet prints a single cut-off of 30 September 2022 covering both the January and July intakes. The 2025 revised booklet prints two, in a two-column table keyed to the admission session. Same school, same programme, different logic.

4. The 2022 booklet’s cover and inner page disagree on who it is for. The cover addresses learners admitted in the January 2022 session. The inner title page addresses learners admitted in January 2022 and July 2022.

5. Revised PGDT term-end papers are filed under a different programme. The MTT-051, MTT-052 and MTT-055 papers in IGNOU’s previous-paper archive sit inside a PGDSHST folder, the Sindhi-Hindi-Sindhi translation diploma, even though each paper’s own header reads “Anuvaad mein Snatakottar Diploma (Sanshodhit)”.

6. The assignment index lives under a school the programme does not belong to. Both PGDT indexes sit in a “soh” directory path, the School of Humanities, while the prospectus entry and the booklet cover both name the School of Translation Studies and Training.

7. Foolscap or A4. The PGDT booklet asks twice for foolscap paper with a 4 cm left margin. General IGNOU assignment guidance circulated widely, including on this publisher’s own companion site, says A4. Both instructions are live.

8. The school’s name is spelled two ways in one prospectus. The PGDT entry says “School of Translation Studies and Training”. The MA Translation Studies entry and the PG certificate entries say “School of Translation Studies & Training”.

9. A stray code in an assignment number. The 2022 PGDT-04 paper prints its assignment code as PGDT-04/AST-01(TMA)/2022. The AST-01 fragment belongs to another programme’s template.

10. The word cap moved between booklets. The 2022 booklet asks for roughly 400 words on long essay questions. The 2025 booklet asks for roughly 500. Short-note answers stayed at 200 to 250 in both.

11. Disclosed in-house. This store’s own PGDT listings carry three code systems between them — MTT 51 to MTT 55 on the book and guess-paper bundles, PGDT 1 to PGDT 4 on the previous-paper products, and MTT-51 upward on the soft-copy assignments — and none of the bundles includes MTT 033. The legacy version of this product page also carried a marks claim, an acceptance claim, a delivery-time promise and a rate of ₹350. All of that is listed for correction.

Programme structures, course codes, submission dates and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment.

The 30 September and 31 March Cut-Offs, and Which One Is Yours

PGDT deadlines are keyed to the session a learner was admitted in, not to the examination they intend to sit, and the 2025 booklet prints them as a two-column table applying identically to all six TMA codes. Learners admitted in the January 2025 session were given 30 September 2025. Learners admitted in the July 2025 session were given 31 March 2026. The pattern to carry forward is 30 September for a January intake and 31 March for a July intake.

Two cautions belong with those dates. First, they are SOTST’s dates and nobody else’s. The 31 October and 30 April pair widely quoted for IGNOU assignments belongs to the School of Management Studies; carrying it onto a PGDT paper is how a learner misses a cut-off by a month. Second, the booklet itself says the last date may be changed and directs learners to the IGNOU website for the current position, and central extensions are common — the university has pushed assignment deadlines to 30 April and to 31 October in recent cycles by circular. The printed date is the planning date, not a ceiling to lean on.

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. Missing a PGDT submission does not merely cost that 30 per cent; it leaves the course incomplete and blocks the term-end form for it, which is why a late realisation in September or March turns into a lost cycle rather than a lost mark.

As of this build, IGNOU’s revised-PGDT assignment index for the programme lists nothing later than the January to July 2025 booklet. No 2026-27 PGDT paper has been published there yet, and a set can only honestly be written against the most recent paper IGNOU has actually issued.

Writing MTT-051/TMA/2025 on the Right Corner of the Sheet

Every PGDT assignment carries two codes that look similar and are not: the course code and the assignment code. On the 2025 booklet the course code is written as MTT-051 and the assignment code as MTT-051/TMA/2025. TMA stands for Tutor Marked Assignment. The trailing year is the assignment year, which is the year the paper was issued rather than the year of the examination.

The booklet is specific about where each of these goes. The top right corner of the first page of the answer book takes the enrolment number, the full address, and a signature with the date. The left corner takes the programme title, the course code, the course title, the assignment code and the study centre’s name and code. The booklet adds that both codes are printed on the assignment paper itself and can simply be copied across, and that every answer must be preceded by its question number.

Because the assignment code embeds the paper’s own year, a set written against a 2025 paper and submitted in a later cycle is visibly written against a superseded paper. Papers expire and are replaced each cycle. Sending the session you are submitting for, not just the code, is what keeps the set matched to the paper the study centre is expecting.

Your Own Hand, Copied From a Photo You Send

An assignment written in an obviously unfamiliar hand invites questions a learner does not need. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. The same writer stays with the order across all six PGDT codes, so the set reads as one hand rather than as six.

The physical specification follows the SOTST booklet rather than a house style: foolscap sheets, a left margin of 4 cm, at least four blank lines left between one answer and the next so that the evaluator has somewhere to write, paper of reasonable weight rather than very thin sheets, and each assignment fastened separately.

What Makes a Usable Sample Photo

Half a page in your normal handwriting is plenty. Write in the pen you would actually use, in the script the paper will be written in — for PGDT that generally means Devanagari, with Roman words appearing wherever the question involves English terminology or transliteration. Photograph it flat in daylight, with the whole page in frame and no shadow across the middle. A cropped or angled photo of three lines is not enough to match letterforms from.

The sample goes in before payment, not after, which is the point of the sequence: you see the hand your set will be written in while you can still change your mind.

Hindi Medium, Old Sessions and Backlog Papers

PGDT is a Hindi-medium programme. The prospectus gives the medium of instruction as Hindi, the course titles are Hindi, and the 2025 booklet is printed entirely in Hindi even though IGNOU’s own index labels that file as English. What the papers actually demand, though, is both languages at once: the assignments ask for translation into Hindi and into English, for transliteration between Devanagari and Roman, for terminology equivalents in both directions, and in MTT-052 for a set of twenty coined technical terms with their English counterparts. A writer working on a PGDT set has to be comfortable moving between scripts mid-answer.

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. Where IGNOU has issued a paper in more than one medium, the medium is a line in the order, not a surcharge.

Backlogs are ordinary work here. A learner who cleared MTT-051 and MTT-052 two cycles ago and needs MTT-053, MTT-054, MTT-055 and MTT-033 now pays for four subjects. Papers from older cycles are written against the paper of that cycle, which is why the session is asked for alongside the code.

What to Put in Your First WhatsApp Message

Ordering is a short message, not a form. Five things settle a PGDT order, and nothing beyond them is needed at the start:

  1. The course codes, spelled as your admission record spells them — MTT-053 or PGDT-03, whichever appears there.
  2. The session you are submitting for, and the session you were admitted in, because PGDT cut-offs are keyed to admission.
  3. The medium, if IGNOU issued your paper in more than one.
  4. A photo of half a page in your own handwriting.
  5. The delivery pin code.

Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. Enrolment number, study centre code and personal details are not needed by a publisher and are not asked for; those are the fields left blank on the cover sheet for the learner to complete.

The Half Hour After the Courier Arrives

Open the parcel with the question paper beside you and check four things before anything else happens. That the number of answer books matches the number of codes ordered. That each book’s left corner carries the right course code, course title and assignment code, and that the assignment year on it matches the paper you are submitting against. That every answer is numbered against a question that actually appears on the paper. That the handwriting is the hand you approved.

Then fill in what only you can: enrolment number, name, address, study centre name and code, signature and date. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course.

Submission itself is a counter transaction. The booklet asks learners to hand the set to the study centre and to have receipt recorded on the prescribed despatch-and-acknowledgement card, and it instructs the evaluating teachers not to forward answer books to the Student Evaluation Division at headquarters. It also notes that a learner who has applied to change region should keep submitting to the existing study centre until the university confirms the change. Keep the acknowledgement; it is the only proof of submission a learner holds until the status appears online.

No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.

Where the Rest of Your PGDT Shelf Sits

A handwritten set solves the submission. It does not solve the term-end paper, and PGDT learners generally assemble the rest separately. Block-wise notes for the MTT courses live in the PGDT study guides shelved under the diploma books, and learners taking the whole year at once tend to pick up the five-title MTT bundle rather than the volumes singly — worth noting that this bundle predates MTT 033 and covers 051 to 055 only.

For revision, the expected-question sets for the PGDT term-end papers are organised the same way, down to a single sheet for MTT-051 for learners with one paper left. Learners who prefer to work backwards from real papers can start from previous-year papers worked out by course, including the older PGDT-01 paper for unrevised records.

The project is its own piece of work with its own supervisor and its own timetable, and it is handled through the project and dissertation desk rather than here; the companion article on the MTTP 006 translation project explains what that submission involves. Learners on other programmes will find the same handwritten service listed across the handwritten catalogue by programme, and a code that falls outside any programme list can be ordered through the open request for any session. Anyone who would rather write the six papers personally will get more out of the step-by-step guide to writing an IGNOU assignment by hand than out of this order.

What PGDT Learners Check Before Paying

How many handwritten assignments does a full PGDT year need?

Six. The revised PGDT table lists seven codes across 40 credits, but the 2025 booklet issues a TMA under six of them — MTT-051 to MTT-055 and MTT-033. The seventh, MTTP 006, is the practical translation project with a translator’s note and is not written as an assignment. Six subjects at ₹320 is what a complete year comes to.

My record says MTT-051 but the download page says PGDT-51. Which is it?

Both, unhelpfully. The prospectus and the booklet’s inner pages use MTT-051; IGNOU’s assignment index labels the revised set “PGDT-51-55 & 33” as a shorthand for the same six papers. If your record shows an MTT code you are on the revised programme, whatever the index calls the file. If it shows PGDT-01 to PGDT-05 with no MTT anywhere, you are on the unrevised one and a different booklet applies.

Is MTT 033 compulsory for me?

It depends on when you registered. MTT 033 appears in the revised prospectus table as a four-credit compulsory course, and it appears in the assignment booklet for the first time in the January and July 2025 edition — the July 2024 booklet covers 051 to 055 only. Learners admitted before the revision may have no MTT 033 requirement at all. Your admission record and your Regional Centre decide it, not a code list.

Are PGDT assignments written on A4 or foolscap?

The PGDT booklet says foolscap, twice, and adds a 4 cm left margin, at least four blank lines between answers, and no very thin paper. General IGNOU assignment guidance widely repeated online says A4. Both instructions are genuinely in circulation, which is why this is listed in the conflicts above. Sets for PGDT are written to the programme booklet’s own instruction unless a learner’s study centre has told them otherwise in writing.

Can I print a solved PDF and submit that instead?

No. The booklet instructs learners to write answers in their own hand and not to print or type them. A soft-copy solved assignment is a reference to write from. Submitting it as a printout is submitting in a form the paper itself rules out.

What is the difference between the solved assignment and this product, in one line?

The solved assignment is a typed reference file you read and write from. This is the written set, on paper, in your handwriting, couriered to you to sign and hand in. No soft copy or PDF is sold here.

Will a typed PGDT assignment be rejected?

The booklet is explicit that answers must be handwritten and not printed or typed, and it separately states that copying from another learner will have the assignment rejected. What an individual evaluator or study centre does with a typed submission is their decision, not something a publisher can predict. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.

When is my PGDT submission due?

PGDT cut-offs are keyed to the session you were admitted in. The 2025 booklet gives 30 September for a January intake and 31 March for a July intake, applied identically to all six papers. Do not carry the 31 October and 30 April pair across from management programmes; those are SOMS dates. The booklet also says the date may be revised, and IGNOU has extended assignment deadlines centrally in recent cycles.

The 2026-27 PGDT paper is not on the IGNOU site. What now?

As of this build the revised-PGDT index carries nothing later than the January to July 2025 booklet. A set can only be written against a paper IGNOU has actually issued, so an order for a cycle with no published paper is held until the paper appears, or written against the most recent published paper if a learner’s study centre has confirmed that is what it expects. That confirmation has to come from the centre.

Do PGDT papers ask for English as well as Hindi?

Constantly. The medium of instruction is Hindi, but the assignments ask for translation in both directions, transliteration between Devanagari and Roman, terminology equivalents each way, and in MTT-052 a set of coined technical terms with English counterparts. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price.

How long should each PGDT answer be?

The 2025 booklet asks for roughly 500 words on long essay questions and 200 to 250 on short notes, with practical translation answers done in context and with proper use of a dictionary. The 2022 booklet asked for roughly 400 on long answers, so an older paper carries an older cap. The booklet also warns that answers longer than the stated limit count against the learner.

Can I order one PGDT paper rather than the whole set?

Yes. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. A single carried-forward MTT-054 is an ordinary order at ₹320.

Is the project, MTTP 006, included in a six-paper order?

No. MTTP 006 is a six-credit practical translation with a translator’s note, assessed as project work with its own submission route, and it is not part of a handwritten assignment order. It is worth budgeting for separately, since it is the largest single component of the 40 credits.

What actually arrives, and how much of it do I still have to do?

Separate answer books, one per code, plus the IGNOU-format cover sheet and a printed copy of the TMA paper. What remains is yours: the enrolment number, name, address, study centre name and code, the signature and date, a read-through, and the trip to the counter for the acknowledgement.

Why is the rate the same for MTT-055 as for MTT-033?

Because the unit is the subject, not the page. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. MTT-055 with two thirty-mark passages and MTT-033 with a twenty-mark script-writing task cost the same.

Which Document Each Line Above Came From

From the IGNOU Common Prospectus, July 2026. The PGDT programme entry in the PG diploma section: the seven course codes with their official titles, the credit values of six, six, six, six, six, four and six, the stated total of 40 credits, eligibility of a bachelor’s degree, medium of instruction given as Hindi, the description of the programme as six courses plus a project comprising practical translation with a translator’s note, and the naming of the School of Translation Studies and Training. The credits were summed independently and reconcile to the printed total of 40. The listing of MTT 033 inside the PG certificate in Anuvaad evam Rupantaran, and the MTT codes belonging to the Sindhi-Hindi, Malayalam-Hindi and MA Translation Studies programmes, come from the same document.

From live IGNOU assignment booklets, read this build. Two were opened. The PGDT (Revised) booklet issued for the January 2025 and July 2025 intakes supplied the two-column deadline table of 30 September 2025 and 31 March 2026, the statement that one assignment falls under each of six courses, the assignment-code format MTT-051/TMA/2025, the maximum of 100 marks per paper, the roughly 500-word and 200-to-250-word answer lengths, the foolscap and 4 cm margin instructions, the cover-page field layout, the instruction to write in one’s own hand rather than print or type, the copying warnings, the despatch-and-acknowledgement card, and the internal contradiction in its instruction 2. The 2022 booklet for the unrevised programme supplied the PGDT-01 to PGDT-04 titles, the single 30 September 2022 cut-off, the roughly 400-word cap, the cover-versus-inner-page discrepancy, and the PGDT-04/AST-01(TMA)/2022 assignment code. Both are Hindi-medium documents in a legacy Devanagari encoding and were decoded rather than read literally.

From this publisher’s own commercial terms. The rate, what it includes, the sample-photo sequence, the session and backlog coverage, the absence of a minimum order, and the refusal to promise a delivery figure are Shri Chakradhar Publication’s own terms and are not IGNOU rules.
