IGNOU MSCENV Handwritten Assignment – Every MEV and MEVE Code That Carries a TMA

What Lands on Your Doorstep in the MSCENV Packet

Four physical things arrive, and it is worth knowing what each is for before the courier reaches you. The first is the answer set itself: your MEV and MEVE answers written out by hand on A4 sheets, one course per set, kept separate so that nothing has to be pulled apart at the counter. IGNOU’s own MSCENV booklet is explicit on both points. It instructs learners to use only A4 paper size and to tag all the pages carefully, and it asks that each assignment be answered on a separate sheet. The packet is assembled to match that instruction rather than a generic idea of what an assignment looks like.

The second is the front page, supplied free with every order, laid out in the format IGNOU’s booklet asks for. The MSCENV cover block is not the same as the one other schools print. It asks for Name, Enrollment No., Cycle of Admission, Programme Code, Assignment Code, Course Code, Course Title, Address, Contact Number and Date of Submission. Two of those fields catch learners out. Cycle of admission is the January or July intake you joined under, not the session of the paper you are answering; and assignment code is a full string rather than a number, which the next section but four unpacks in detail.

The third is a copy of the official question paper the answers were written against. This matters more in MSCENV than in most programmes, because at least one MSCENV elective code currently has two different live papers on IGNOU’s servers. Holding the paper in your hand means you can compare it against the booklet your own study centre points you to, question by question, before anything is signed. If the two do not match, you have found that out at your kitchen table rather than at the submission desk.

The fourth is the packing itself, and it is deliberately plain. There is no certificate, no seal, no badge, and no marking sheet, because none of those things exists outside IGNOU’s own evaluation process and nothing in this packet should suggest otherwise. What arrives is paper you can read, check and sign for yourself.

Where the ₹320 Line Stops on an MEV Order

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. A subject here means one course code with one TMA against it. MEV 013 is one subject. MEVE 015 is one subject. A learner clearing the whole first year sits six subjects, because Semester I carries three MEV theory codes and Semester II carries three more plus one elective, and the two MEVL lab courses in that year carry no TMA at all.

Inside the rate: the handwriting, the paper, the free front page, the copy of the question paper, and the courier to your address. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. Nothing is added at the end for packing, for a particular medium, for an older session, or for matching your hand.

Outside the rate, and worth being blunt about: no soft copy or PDF is sold. If what you want is a file to read from while you write your own answers, this is the wrong product and the soft-copy MEV answer files listed under the MSCENV solved-assignment category are the right one. Also outside the rate: anything to do with your MEVL lab record or your MEVP 011 dissertation, neither of which is a Tutor Marked Assignment and neither of which this product covers.

And one thing that is outside the rate because it is outside anyone’s control. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.

Reference File or Submission Copy: Telling the Two MEV Products Apart

Two quite different things get sold under similar names, and MSCENV learners ask about the difference more often than about anything else on this page. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for a course code and session; you read it and write your own answers from it. A handwritten assignment is the answers written out by hand on A4 and submitted in hard copy at the study centre; it is a submission, not a reference. The store sells both, and they are not substitutes for each other.

What settles the question is IGNOU’s own wording. The MSCENV Third Semester booklet, under its guidelines for TMAs, states plainly: You should write the answer in your own handwriting. Two lines above that, the same page says to use only A4 paper size and to tag all the pages carefully. There is no reading of that instruction under which a printed PDF, however good the answers inside it are, is the thing you hand in. A downloaded file is something to write from. It is not something to submit.

The honest scope of the comparison is this: the soft copy is cheaper and instant, the hard copy removes the writing. Neither buys you a mark. If the soft copy is what fits your week, the store’s own MSCENV listing is the place to go rather than this page, and the link two paragraphs above sends you straight there.

The Nine MEV Theory Codes That Carry a Tutor Marked Assignment

These nine are the spine of the programme and every one of them has a live TMA in IGNOU’s current booklet set. The credits column comes from the Common Prospectus (July 2026) table for M.Sc. (Environmental Science), and the titles are given exactly as that table prints them. The second column exists because the same course is written two ways across IGNOU’s own documents, which the conflicts section below sets out.

Four courses in the 72-credit structure carry no TMA, and knowing which they are saves you from ordering something that cannot be ordered. IGNOU’s MSCENV assignment index lists exactly four booklets: First Semester, Second Semester, Third Semester and Elective Courses. There is no lab booklet and no fourth-semester booklet. The three MEVL lab courses do sit for a term-end examination, and past MEVL 011 papers are published going back years, but a lab course is examined rather than assigned.

The arithmetic is worth checking against the prospectus rather than taken on trust, because extracted tables go wrong. Nine theory courses at four credits is 36. Three lab courses at four credits is 12. Four electives at four credits is 16. The dissertation is 8. That totals 72, which is the figure the prospectus prints at the foot of the MSCENV table. If a table you find elsewhere does not reconcile to 72, it has picked up rows from a neighbouring programme, and the environmental family of programmes in this prospectus share codes freely enough that this happens easily.

The Nine MEVE Electives, of Which You Sit Four

MSCENV does not run specialisation streams. It runs a single flat elective pool of nine courses, and the prospectus is precise about how you draw from it: choose any four courses, one each for Semester II and Semester III, and two for Semester IV. All nine sit in one booklet, the Elective Courses booklet, which carries a TMA for every code in the pool whether or not you are taking it.

The note column is the practical part. Six of the nine electives are courses that other IGNOU programmes also teach, sometimes as compulsory papers, and the store carries listings for several of them, including MAEVS study material, where the same MEV titles reappear. That sharing is why an MSCENV learner searching a bare elective code lands on the wrong programme’s material so easily. The code alone does not tell you which paper you are meant to answer. The booklet does.

Four MSCENV Papers, and the Places They Contradict Each Other

Every item below was found by reading IGNOU’s own documents against each other, not taken from a third-party site. They are listed because a learner who knows about them orders the right thing, and because a page that hid them would be less useful, not more.

Why Your MEV Booklet Prints an Expiry Instead of a Due Date

Most IGNOU programmes give a straight answer to the deadline question because their booklet prints one. MSCENV does not, and pretending otherwise would be the single most damaging thing this page could do. All four current MSCENV booklets, read directly from IGNOU’s servers, carry the same masthead: Assignments, January 2025 to July 2026 Sessions, Valid from Jan 2025 to December 2026. Below that they say it is compulsory to submit the assignments within the stipulated time to be eligible for appearing the term-end examination, and they never say what that time is.

So the expiry is the one date MSCENV genuinely prints. Your current paper stops being current at the end of December 2026. That is not a submission deadline; it is the point after which the questions you answered are no longer the questions being set, which matters if you are carrying a backlog into a later cycle.

For the actual last date, three sources circulate and they do not agree, so here is what each one is:

• The nearest printed date on any SOITS paper carrying an MSCENV code is on the MASS-numbered MEVE-016 booklet: 30th March for the June term-end examination and 30th September for December. That paper belongs to another programme, so treat it as an indication of what the school works to rather than as your date.
• The general university position, as regional centres commonly state it, is 31 March for the June session and 30 September for December, applied across programmes unless a school says otherwise.
• Your own regional centre’s window, which overrides both. Regional centres publish their own opening and closing dates for offline submission each cycle, and they differ from one another by weeks. IGNOU has also extended the university-wide date several times in recent cycles, after the original date had passed.

The practical consequence for an MSCENV order is simple. Because the dates move and are not printed on your paper, work backwards from your term-end examination rather than from a number you read on a website, and confirm your own centre’s window on IGNOU’s own assignment download service before you commit to anything. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

What MEV-012/TMA-01 Actually Encodes

The MSCENV cover page asks for an Assignment Code, and it is a longer string than most learners expect. Taking the Earth Processes paper as the example, the booklet prints it as MEV-012/TMA-01/January 2025 to July 2026 session. Four parts, each doing a job:

• MEV-012 is the course code, hyphenated and zero-padded. This is the form the booklet uses even though the prospectus table and the booklet’s own filename both write MEV 12.
• TMA-01 is the assignment number within the course. MSCENV sets one TMA per course, so this reads 01 on every paper in the set. It is not a semester number and not a question count.
• January 2025 to July 2026 is the session range, not a single session. This is the part that differs most from other IGNOU schools, where the code carries one session name or one academic year.
• session, lower case, closes the string. It is printed that way on the paper and copying it as printed avoids an avoidable query at the counter.

Two things follow from that format. First, an MSCENV assignment code is not interchangeable with a code from another school, so a template borrowed from a friend in a management or humanities programme will be wrong in its shape as well as its content. Second, because the range spans two named sessions, a learner admitted in July 2025 and a learner admitted in January 2026 write the identical string. The thing that distinguishes them is the Cycle of Admission field, which is why the cover page asks for both.

Your Own Hand, Copied From a Photo You Send

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. The reason this matters for MSCENV in particular is the shape of the workload. Thirteen papers at 100 marks each, spread across four semesters, is a lot of pages under one name. A set that looks like thirteen different people wrote it invites a question that a consistent set does not.

What the sample photo needs to show

Half a page of ordinary writing is enough, in the pen you normally use, photographed straight on in daylight rather than at an angle. It does not need to be environmental-science content and it does not need to be neat; the point is to capture how your letters actually sit, including the parts you would not describe as your best work. A page copied out unusually carefully produces a match to handwriting that is not yours.

The matched sample is sent back before payment, so the decision you are making is whether that specific writing looks like yours, not whether the description of the service sounds convincing. If it does not look right, nothing has been paid and nothing has been written.

English-Only Papers, Old Cycles and Carried-Over Codes

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For MSCENV that sentence resolves to a single medium, and it is worth stating plainly rather than leaving it implied. The Common Prospectus gives Medium of Instruction: English for M.Sc. (Environmental Science), in both the programme section and the summary table, and the four live booklets are English throughout. There is no Hindi MSCENV TMA paper to order, and a seller offering you one has not read the booklet.

Sessions are a different matter and much more forgiving. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Three MSCENV situations come up repeatedly and all three are ordinary work:

• A learner from an earlier intake clearing a Semester II elective alongside current Semester IV papers, so the order mixes an older elective paper with current ones.
• A learner who sat MEVL practicals on schedule but let the theory assignments slide, and now needs only the theory codes written.
• A learner whose paper falls in the window where the previous booklet set has expired and the current one is in force, where the question is which paper is actually current for their code.

In all three, what settles the order is the booklet, not the year printed on a website. Send the codes with the session and it is checked against the live MSCENV index before anything is written. Ask which of your MSCENV codes carry a TMA if you are unsure whether a lab or elective code belongs on the list.

The Five Things the Writing Desk Needs From You

Ordering is deliberately short. Five items, sent in one WhatsApp message, and nothing else is asked for:

1. Your course codes. The MEV and MEVE codes you need written, in either the two-digit or three-digit form. Both are recognised, because IGNOU uses both.
2. Your session and cycle of admission. The January or July intake you joined under, and the cycle you are submitting for. These are two different things and the MSCENV cover page asks for both.
3. Your enrolment number. For the front page, and for checking that the codes you have listed belong to the programme you are registered in.
4. A photo of your own handwriting. Half a page, as described above.
5. Your delivery address with pin code. The pin code is what determines the courier window, which is confirmed to you before payment.

What is not asked for: your password, your Samarth login, your date of birth, or a scan of any identity document. Nothing on that list is needed to write an assignment, and anyone who asks you for it should be declined.

The Evening the Courier Arrives

Open the packet and do three things before anything else. Check that every code you ordered is present as a separate set, because they are written separately and are meant to stay that way. Read the answers, at least in outline, against the question paper enclosed with them. Then compare that question paper against the booklet your own study centre or the MSCENV index points you to, because of the MEVE 016 situation described above.

Then complete the front page. Your name, your signature and your study centre code are the fields left for you, and the last of those changes if you have transferred centre, which is why it is not pre-filled. Add the date of submission on the day you actually submit rather than in advance.

You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. That is not a formality on an MSCENV paper. The booklet’s own guidance asks you to plan the answer, to organise it, and to write in your own words rather than reproducing passages from the units, and it explains why: the process is meant to prepare you for the term-end examination. Reading what has been written for you is the part that does that work.

Keep a copy. The booklet says so twice, in its own words, and it gives the reason: in case the one you submitted is lost in transit. Photograph each set before you hand it in, and keep the submission receipt until the marks appear against the code on your grade card.

What Else MSCENV Learners Put in the Same Order

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. The handwritten set covers the first of those two. MSCENV learners generally order against both at once, because the courier cost is already inside the ₹320.

For the theory papers, the unit-wise MSCENV help books compress the blocks into something readable in an evening, which is the usual complaint about MEV 018 and MEVE 018 in particular. Closer to the examination, MSCENV guess papers built around the term-end pattern are the more focused option, and for the three lab courses, where there is no assignment to write but there is still a paper to sit, past MEV question papers with worked answers are the only realistic preparation route.

Fourth semester brings the dissertation, and it is a different kind of work with a different timetable. MEVP 011 is an eight-credit Dissertation/Project, and the store handles it as MEVP 011 dissertation support in soft copy or as a bound hard-copy version of the same project work. Neither is an assignment and neither is covered by this product.

Two other routes are worth knowing about. What MSCENV Learners Check Before They Pay

How many MSCENV assignments do I actually have to write?

Thirteen across the whole programme: nine MEV theory codes and the four MEVE electives you choose. The three MEVL lab courses and MEVP 011 make up the rest of the 72 credits but have no TMA booklet on IGNOU’s assignment index, so there is nothing to write for them. Per semester that is three in Semester I, four in Semester II, four in Semester III and two in Semester IV.

Is there an assignment for MEVL 011, MEVL 012 or MEVL 013?

No TMA booklet exists for them on IGNOU’s MSCENV assignment index, which lists four booklets only: three semester booklets and one for the electives. The lab courses are examined rather than assigned, and past term-end papers for MEVL 011 are published going back several years. If your study centre asks you for a lab record or practical file, that is a separate requirement from the TMA and this product does not cover it.

Which MEVE 016 paper is the right one for me?

The one in the MSCENV Elective Courses booklet, carrying assignment code MEVE-016/TMA-01/January 2025 to July 2026 session, with eight questions of which you answer any five. The other live MEVE-016 paper is numbered MASS-2/2026 and belongs to Master of Arts in Sustainability Science, where MEVE 016 is listed as an additional course for lateral entry. Its four questions are different questions. If you answer them as an MSCENV learner, you have answered another programme’s paper.

What is the last date for MSCENV assignment submission?

The MSCENV booklets do not print one. All four say only that submission must happen within the stipulated time, and the only date printed on the cover is a validity range ending December 2026. The MASS-numbered paper carrying an MSCENV elective code prints 30th March and 30th September; regional centres commonly state 31 March and 30 September; and individual centres publish their own windows each cycle. Confirm yours with your regional centre before ordering.

Can I hand in a printed copy of a solved assignment PDF instead?

The MSCENV booklet states that you should write the answer in your own handwriting, and asks for A4 paper with the pages tagged. A downloaded PDF is a reference to write from. Handing one in as it prints is not what the instruction describes, and study centres do reject printed sets. That is the whole reason a handwritten product exists alongside a solved one.

Why does my booklet say MEV 012 when the prospectus says MEV 12?

Because IGNOU uses both forms. The Common Prospectus MSCENV table uses the two-digit form throughout, while the booklets use the three-digit form in the assignment code and course code fields, and the booklet filenames go back to two digits. They are the same course. Send whichever form you have; both are recognised when your order is checked against the index.

Do I get a soft copy or PDF with the handwritten set?

No soft copy or PDF is sold. The packet is the handwritten answer sheets, the free IGNOU-format front page and a copy of the official question paper. If a file is what you want, the MSCENV solved-assignment category listed earlier on this page is the correct product.

I am carrying a 2023 elective and current fourth-semester papers. Can they go in one order?

Yes, and it is the ordinary case rather than an exception. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Send both sets of codes with the session against each one; the older elective is checked against the booklet that was in force for it, and the current papers against the live one.

Is MSCENV available in Hindi medium?

The Common Prospectus gives Medium of Instruction: English for M.Sc. (Environmental Science), in the programme section and again in the summary table, and the four live TMA booklets are English throughout. There is no Hindi MSCENV assignment paper on the index to write against.

How many questions will be answered in each MEV assignment?

Five. Each MSCENV booklet sets eight questions per course, marks the paper at 100, and instructs that you answer any five, with all questions carrying equal marks at 5×20=100. Coverage is printed as All Blocks, meaning the questions are drawn from the whole course rather than from selected units. The MASS-numbered MEVE-016 paper is the one exception in this family, and it sets four questions all of which are answered.

Where do I submit, the study centre or the regional centre?

The MSCENV booklets say the completed assignment should be sent to the Coordinator of the Study Centre allotted to you. The MASS-numbered paper says the concerned Regional Centre instead. Where the two conflict for a shared elective code, your own regional centre’s current instruction is what governs, and it is worth one message to confirm rather than one wasted journey.

What does Cycle of Admission mean on the MSCENV cover page?

It is the intake you were admitted under, January or July, and it stays the same for the whole programme. It is not the session of the paper you are answering, which is the mistake the field most often catches. The cover page asks for both because the assignment code carries a two-session range and cannot distinguish one intake from another on its own.

Do you write the MEVP 011 dissertation?

Not as part of this product. MEVP 011 is an eight-credit Dissertation/Project, it has no TMA booklet, and it runs on a synopsis-and-approval process rather than a submission deadline. It is handled through the MSCENV project categories linked earlier on this page, in soft copy or bound hard copy.

Will this get my assignment accepted or improve my marks?

No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. What the product removes is the writing time across thirteen papers, not the uncertainty in someone else’s marking.

How long will delivery take to my address?
