IGNOU MPATHA Handwritten Assignment: Theatre Arts Theory Papers, MTH-031 to MTH-043

Original price was: ₹500.00.Current price is: ₹320.00.

Shri Chakradhar Publication prepares the IGNOU MPATHA handwritten assignment set for Master of Performing Arts (Theatre Arts), the 80-credit School of Performing and Visual Arts programme in which only seven of sixteen courses can carry a written Tutor Marked Assignment. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Sets are written on foolscap because that is the paper size the MPATHA Programme Guide specifies.

  • Written against a paper that actually exists. On 11 September 2026 IGNOU’s Current Assignments portal listed live papers for MTH-031 and MTH-034 only. Send your codes and you are told which of yours is live before paying.
  • Foolscap, not A4, on this programme. MPATHA’s Programme Guide asks for foolscap sheets, tied, with a four-centimetre left margin, and both live School of Performing and Visual Arts booklets repeat it.
  • Thirty per cent of the course result is at stake. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent.
  • You see the handwriting before you pay. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.
  • No minimum. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
  • Cover sheet and question paper travel with it. An IGNOU-format front page is free, and a printed copy of the official paper is enclosed.
  • The contradictions are named, not hidden. IGNOU prints the Acting Practicum code, the Western Classical Theatre code and the dissertation type two ways each. The long description lists all six with their sources.
  • Backlogs cost the same. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. No soft copy or PDF is sold.

Send your MTH codes and the desk confirms what is live: message the MPATHA desk on +91 93546 37830. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Description

In short. MPATHA is IGNOU’s Master of Performing Arts (Theatre Arts), an 80-credit, four-semester, English-medium programme run by the School of Performing and Visual Arts, and of its sixteen courses only seven are theory papers capable of carrying a written Tutor Marked Assignment, because the eight practical courses are assessed inside the workshops and MTHP-044 is a dissertation. On 11 September 2026 IGNOU’s own Current Assignments portal carried live papers for exactly two of those seven, MTH-031 Classical Indian and Folk Theatre and MTH-034 Western Classical Theatre, both English medium, both worth 100 marks at 30 per cent weightage, both valid for the July 2026 and January 2027 cycles, and both dated 31 March 2027 for the June term-end examination and 30 September 2027 for the December one. Shri Chakradhar Publication writes those answer sets out by hand on foolscap, the paper size MPATHA’s own Programme Guide specifies, and couriers them as a hard copy. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Send the codes printed on your admission record, a photo of your own handwriting and your pin code, and the desk confirms which of your papers is currently live before anything is paid.

Inside the Envelope That Reaches Your Door

An MPATHA order is not a file and not a download. It is a physical bundle, prepared per course code, posted to the address you give. Four things travel inside it, and it is worth knowing exactly what each one is for before you order a single paper.

The first is the answer set itself, written out by hand, question by question, in the order the paper prints them. The second is an IGNOU-format front page, filled in with your enrolment number, the programme code MPATHA, the course code, the assignment code and the session, and left blank where your signature and study-centre code belong. The third is a printed copy of the official question paper the answers were written against, so you can hold the assignment code on your sheet next to the assignment code on the source and satisfy yourself they match. The fourth is nothing at all. No soft copy or PDF is sold. There is no email, no link and no cloud folder attached to an MPATHA order.

Pages arrive tied rather than loose. That is not a house preference. Both School of Performing and Visual Arts booklets read for this page instruct learners to use foolscap paper and to tie all the pages carefully, and the MPATHA Programme Guide repeats the instruction in its own words.

Foolscap, Not A4, on This Programme

Most IGNOU guidance a learner meets online says A4. MPATHA’s own paperwork does not. The official MPATHA Programme Guide, under its instructions for doing assignments, tells learners to use only foolscap size paper for their responses and to tie all the pages carefully, to allow a four-centimetre margin on the left, and to leave at least four blank lines between answers so the evaluator has somewhere to write. The two live School of Performing and Visual Arts assignment booklets fetched for this page carry the identical foolscap line at the top of their instruction list.

That matters commercially, because the handwritten category hub on this store currently states A4 for every programme, and for MPATHA that is the wrong sheet. Sets for this product are prepared on foolscap by default. If your Learner Support Centre has told you otherwise in writing, say so when you send your codes and the set is written to whatever your centre asked for instead. The instruction that never varies is the one about who holds the pen: the Programme Guide says learners should write the responses in their own hand and should not print or type the answers, which is the whole reason a handwritten service exists.

Where Your ₹320 Stops, and What Sits Outside It

One rate, one unit. The unit is a course code, not a semester and not a year. A learner ordering MTH-031 alone pays ₹320. A learner ordering MTH-031 and MTH-034 together pays ₹640. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.

Inside the rate sit the writing, the foolscap sheets, the IGNOU-format cover page, the printed question paper, the handwriting match and the courier. Outside it sit three things, and they are outside it permanently. The first is any claim about outcome: No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. The second is a delivery figure, which is quoted against your own pin code once the order is placed rather than printed here for everybody. The third is the submission itself, which only you can make, at the Programme Study Centre your enrolment is attached to.

MPATHA runs through a single Programme Study Centre for the whole country, PSC 07187P at Block 15G, School of Performing and Visual Arts, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, under Regional Centre Delhi 1. That is where the Programme Guide says assignments go and where the practical examinations are held. It is worth building your posting time around, because a set couriered to a Ludhiana address still has to reach a desk in Maidan Garhi.

Reference File or Submission Copy: Telling the Two Apart

Two different things get called an assignment in IGNOU search results, and confusing them is the single most expensive mistake an MPATHA learner can make in a submission window.

A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one session. You read it, understand how the answer is built, and write your own version. A handwritten assignment is the answer set written out by hand on paper and submitted in hard copy at the study centre. The first is study material. The second is the thing that physically goes across the counter.

IGNOU’s own instruction settles the argument about format. The MPATHA Programme Guide tells learners to write the responses in their own hand and not to print or type the answers, and both live School of Performing and Visual Arts booklets repeat that you should write in your own handwriting. A downloaded file is therefore never a submission on this programme, however complete its answers are. That is the honest scope of a reference file, and it is why this page sells the written copy rather than the file.

If a reference file is what you actually want, it is not sold here. The store keeps that material on the solved-assignment side, where you can browse master’s-degree solved assignment files, code by code. No MPATHA-specific category has been opened there yet, so send the MTH code you want and availability is confirmed rather than guessed.

Only Two MTH Papers Are Live on IGNOU’s Portal Right Now

MPATHA carries seven theory courses. Each of them is worth four credits and each of them is capable of carrying a Tutor Marked Assignment. Whether one exists to download is a separate question, and on 11 September 2026 the answer was no for five of the seven.

IGNOU’s Current Assignments service listed MTH-031 and MTH-034 as the only two MPATHA entries. Both are English medium. Both carry 100 maximum marks at 30 per cent weightage. Both are marked valid for the July 2026 and January 2027 sessions. Both were last modified on 18 August 2026. The remaining five theory codes returned nothing on that date, which does not mean they will never appear, only that the paper for them was not published when this page was written.

Seven theory courses at four credits each account for 28 of the programme’s 80 credits. That arithmetic is worth doing yourself before trusting any table, including this one, because the remaining 52 credits sit in courses no question paper covers.

The Nine Courses No Question Paper Covers

Eight of MPATHA’s sixteen courses are practical and one is a dissertation. Together they are 52 of the 80 credits, and none of them is served by a downloadable Tutor Marked Assignment. The Programme Guide is explicit that assignments for practical courses are conducted during the workshops, which are held at the Programme Study Centre for ten to fifteen days each semester with compulsory full attendance. MTHP-044 is a dissertation written under supervision.

Eight practicals at six credits is 48, plus four for the dissertation, plus the 28 theory credits above, which is 80. That matches the total the Common Prospectus prints and the total the Programme Guide prints, so the structure can be trusted even where individual codes cannot. Anyone offering you a handwritten set for MTHL-045 Acting Before Camera is offering you something IGNOU does not assess that way. Setting expectations honestly is more useful than taking the order.

Six Places Where IGNOU’s MPATHA Records Contradict Each Other

Three official IGNOU sources were read against each other for this page: the Common Prospectus July 2026, the MPATHA programme page on ignou.ac.in, and the official MPATHA Programme Guide published by the School of Performing and Visual Arts. They disagree in six places. None of these is resolved silently here, because your admission record will follow one of them and you need to know which conflicts exist before you write a code onto a cover sheet.

Disagreements found in IGNOU’s own MPATHA documents, September 2026.

1. Acting Practicum has two codes. The Common Prospectus July 2026 prints MTHL 031, which collides with MTH 031 Classical Indian and Folk Theatre in the same table, and the prospectus lists no 032 anywhere. Both ignou.ac.in and the MPATHA Programme Guide print MTHL-032. Two sources against one.

2. Western Classical Theatre is printed without its leading zero. The prospectus prints MTH 34 while every other code in the same table runs to three digits. The programme page, the Programme Guide and the live assignment portal all print MTH-034.

3. Research Methodology carries a practical prefix in one document. The Programme Guide’s structure table prints MTHL-043 for a course it simultaneously classifies as Theory. The prospectus and ignou.ac.in both print MTH-043.

4. The dissertation is typed two ways. The prospectus and the Programme Guide both classify MTHP-044 Dissertation as a Project. The course card on ignou.ac.in classifies the same code as Theory, at the same four credits.

5. An exit award appears in one place only. The ignou.ac.in programme page states that MPATHA runs in a modular format with exit and later entry options and that learners exiting after the first year receive a Post Graduate Theatre Arts award. Neither the Common Prospectus section on MPATHA nor the official Programme Guide mentions a modular structure or an exit award at all.

6. Eligibility is written two ways. The prospectus and the Programme Guide both require a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts, or any degree together with a one-year Diploma in Theatre Arts or Diploma in Acting. The Learner Target Group panel on ignou.ac.in describes the entry route as a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with an aptitude in Theatre and its allied arts, with no diploma requirement.

And one in-house error, disclosed rather than buried. The handwritten category hub on this store currently states that assignments are written on A4 sheets. For MPATHA that is wrong: the Programme Guide asks for foolscap. The hub is being corrected. Until it is, the instruction on this page is the one to follow for this programme.

There is a seventh oddity that is an absence rather than a contradiction. MPATHA does not appear on IGNOU’s programme-wise Master’s Degree assignment index at all, although that index lists more than sixty other master’s programmes. The two live MPATHA papers surface only through the Current Assignments search, which is why the search box rather than the index is the route to check.

The Two Term-End Dates Printed Against MTH-031 and MTH-034

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. On MPATHA the Programme Guide adds a second hurdle: a learner needs at least 40 per cent in the assignment component and at least 40 per cent in the term-end examination separately, in every course, to pass that course. A strong examination paper does not rescue a missing assignment.

Against MTH-031 and MTH-034 the Current Assignments portal prints two dates rather than one. The due date for the June term-end examination is 31 March 2027. The due date for the December term-end examination is 30 September 2027. Both papers are marked valid for the July 2026 and January 2027 sessions, and both were last modified on 18 August 2026.

Do not carry those dates to another programme, and do not carry another programme’s dates here. The School of Performing and Visual Arts does not run one school-wide pair. On the same portal, the same school’s Master of Fine Arts Painting papers carry 15 December 2026, and the two certificate booklets read for this page printed a single submission date each rather than a pair: 20 May 2026 on the January 2026 edition and 30 May 2025 on the January 2025 edition. The date that governs you is the one printed on the paper you downloaded for your own code and your own session.

One structural point sits underneath all of this. MPATHA is offered in the July session only, and runs July to December and January to June as semesters, with term-end examinations in December and June. A learner admitted in July 2026 meets the December 2026 examination first, which is why the assignment window can close long before the date printed for the following June.

What AST-1 and TMA Mean on a SOPVA Cover Sheet

The assignment code is the string that tells the evaluator which paper, which session and which submission your sheets answer. Writing the wrong one is how a correct answer set ends up filed against a course you are not registered in.

Read it off the paper, never off memory and never off another learner’s file. The two School of Performing and Visual Arts booklets fetched for this page both print the code in the form OVA-001/AST-1/TMA/26 on the instruction page. AST-1 marks it as the first assignment for that course. TMA marks it Tutor Marked. The two digits at the end are the session year.

There is a trap in that template worth knowing about before you copy anything. In both booklets, the code printed on the question page a few paragraphs later drops the TMA segment entirely and reads OVA-001/AST-1/26 instead. The same document prints its own assignment code two different ways. This was checked across two separate booklets from two separate sessions and it happened both times, so it is how the template behaves rather than a one-off slip. When the two forms disagree inside your own paper, copy the one printed in the submission instructions block and keep the downloaded paper with your receipt.

Alongside the assignment code, the Programme Guide asks for the programme title, course code, course title and study centre on the left of the first page, and your enrolment number, name, full address, signature and date on the top right. The front page supplied with your order carries all of it except the parts only you can sign.

Your Own Hand, Copied From One Photograph

The declaration on an IGNOU cover page is signed by you, which is why the set should look like yours. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.

Matching means the writer works from your sample: letter shapes, slant, spacing, how you form the loops, how heavily you press. It is not a font and it is not a tracing. The result reads as one consistent hand across every page of every code you order in the same batch, which matters more on MPATHA than on most programmes, since a learner ordering both live papers is handing in two sets at one counter on one day.

What the Sample Photograph Needs to Show

One page is enough. Write eight or ten lines of ordinary prose in the pen you normally use, on a plain or ruled sheet, photograph it square-on in daylight with the whole page in frame, and send it. Avoid photographs taken at an angle, in shadow, or of a page written in a hurry with a different pen from your usual one, because the match is only ever as good as the sample it is built from. The sample goes in before payment, not after, so you see the writing you are buying before any money moves.

English Only, July Intake, and Every Older Cycle

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. On MPATHA that resolves to one medium. The Common Prospectus records the medium of instruction as English and notes that the self-learning material is English. The Programme Guide states that the course material will be available only in English. Both live MPATHA entries on the assignment portal are listed English. There is no Hindi MTH paper to write against, so a Hindi-medium MPATHA request cannot be honoured by anybody, here or elsewhere.

Session coverage is wider than medium coverage. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. A learner who joined in July 2023 and still owes MTH-031 is quoted exactly what a July 2026 learner is quoted. The paper used is whichever edition governs the code on your record, and papers expire and are replaced each cycle, so the edition that was live when you registered may no longer be the one on the portal today. Send the session printed on your own downloaded paper and the correct edition is used.

Admission itself runs one intake a year. The Programme Guide states that MPATHA is offered only in the July session, and the Common Prospectus lists July as the session of registration against the programme. That is unusual for an IGNOU master’s degree and it narrows the re-registration and backlog planning considerably.

The Five Things to Send, Nothing Further

Ordering does not need a form, an account or a document upload. Five items settle an MPATHA order completely, and nothing beyond them is asked for.

  1. Your MTH course codes. Read them off your admission record or re-registration slip, not off this page. If your record prints MTHL 031 where this page prints MTHL-032, say so, because that is the known prospectus conflict and it tells the desk which document your enrolment follows.
  2. The session printed on your own downloaded paper. July 2026, January 2027, or an older cycle for a backlog.
  3. A photo of a page in your own handwriting. One sheet, daylight, whole page in frame.
  4. Your delivery address with the pin code. The pin code is what the delivery estimate is built from.
  5. Your enrolment number. It goes on the front page supplied with the set.

Nothing else is required. No identity document, no fee receipt, no grade card, no scan of your study material.

Two codes, one envelope, one hand across both sets.

₹320 per subject. Foolscap. IGNOU-format front page and the question paper included.

Start a foolscap MPATHA set at ₹320 per subject

Once the Courier Reaches You

Open the packet and check three things before you go anywhere near a counter. Check that the course code on every front page matches the code on your admission record. Check that the assignment code on the front page matches the assignment code printed on the question paper enclosed. Check that the number of answers matches the number of questions the paper asks you to attempt.

Then read the answers. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. On MPATHA that reading is not a formality: the theory papers cover Indian and folk theatre and Western classical theatre, and if a scene, a text or a term in an answer is unfamiliar to you it is better to know that before an evaluator asks about it.

After that, sign, fill in the study-centre code, and submit at PSC 07187P under Regional Centre Delhi 1. The Programme Guide asks you to obtain an acknowledgement on the assignment remittance-cum-acknowledgement card, or to post the set under certificate of posting if you cannot hand it in yourself, and to keep a photocopy of everything you submit. Keep the receipt until the marks appear against your enrolment, because the receipt is the only proof that exists if they do not.

What Theatre Arts Learners Pick Up at the Same Time

MPATHA sits in a thin corner of the store’s catalogue, because the School of Performing and Visual Arts has fewer learners than the schools that fill most of the shelves. The material that does exist nearby is worth knowing about.

Learners who came into MPATHA through the diploma route, holding a one-year Diploma in Theatre Arts, sometimes still need revision material for that earlier qualification, and the Diploma in Theatre Arts guess papers are the one theatre-specific set the store keeps. The neighbouring performing-arts degree on the shelf is Hindustani Music, and anyone comparing programmes before a re-registration can look through the Hindustani Music honours reading list to see how another practical-heavy programme is resourced.

For the theory papers themselves, the general postgraduate material applies: master’s-degree study guides for block-by-block revision, and guess papers built for postgraduate term-end papers for the December and June examinations that follow the assignment. If you would rather write MTH-031 yourself and only want the method, the companion article explaining how an IGNOU handwritten assignment is put together from the TMA booklet is free to read on the sister site and sells you nothing.

Two further routes matter at the far end of MPATHA. MTHP-044 is a dissertation, and dissertation work is handled separately from assignments: soft-copy project and synopsis material covers the drafting stage, and bound project reports posted as hard copy covers the submission stage. No MPATHA-specific project category has been opened yet, so the MTHP-044 requirement is quoted on request rather than listed.

If your codes sit outside everything above, two general products exist. A printed solved-assignment book covering any programme and session handles reference material for codes with no dedicated listing, and the open customised handwritten order handles written sets for programmes without their own product page. The full range of programme-specific written sets sits on the handwritten assignment hub that covers every other IGNOU programme, and if you want to see how the same service reads on a much larger programme, how the same service runs on a management programme is the most detailed comparison available.

Before You Order: What MPATHA Learners Ask

Can I order a handwritten set for MTH-035 or MTH-039 right now?

Not against a published paper. On 11 September 2026 the Current Assignments portal listed MTH-031 and MTH-034 only for MPATHA. MTH-035, MTH-037, MTH-039, MTH-040 and Research Methodology returned nothing. Send the code and the desk re-checks the portal for you, because listings change; what will not happen is a set being written against a question paper that does not exist.

My admission record says MTHL 031 for Acting Practicum but this page says MTHL-032. Which is right?

Both are printed by IGNOU. The Common Prospectus July 2026 prints MTHL 031, and both ignou.ac.in and the MPATHA Programme Guide print MTHL-032. The prospectus form collides with MTH 031 and leaves 032 unused, which suggests the prospectus is the outlier, but that is an inference and not an IGNOU ruling. Write whichever code your own admission record and your own downloaded paper carry, and raise the difference with Regional Centre Delhi 1 if the two disagree with each other.

Should my MPATHA assignment be on A4 or foolscap?

Foolscap, on the documented instruction. The MPATHA Programme Guide tells learners to use only foolscap size paper for their responses and to tie all the pages carefully, and both live School of Performing and Visual Arts booklets read for this page repeat the same line. Much of the general IGNOU advice circulating online says A4, which is why learners arrive confused. Sets for this product are written on foolscap unless your Learner Support Centre has told you in writing to use something else.

Can I download a solved PDF and hand that in instead?

No. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for a course code and session, and it is not a submission. The MPATHA Programme Guide instructs learners to write the responses in their own hand and not to print or type the answers, and the School of Performing and Visual Arts booklets repeat that you should write in your own handwriting. Read a reference file if you find one useful, then write the pages by hand or order them written.

What is the difference between what this page sells and a solved assignment?

This page sells the written pages, on foolscap, in a hand matched to yours, couriered to your address with an IGNOU-format cover sheet and the question paper. A solved assignment is the reference file you would read in order to write those pages yourself. Different products, different purposes, different places on this store.

Is a typed MPATHA assignment ever accepted?

Nothing in MPATHA’s own paperwork permits it. The Programme Guide’s instruction is explicit that the student should write the responses in their own hand and should not print or type the answers, and it adds that reproducing answers straight from the study units attracts poor marks. Whether a particular Learner Support Centre has ever accepted a typed sheet is not something any third party can promise you, which is why no promise appears here.

Which deadline applies to my MPATHA paper?

The portal prints two against MTH-031 and MTH-034: 31 March 2027 for the June term-end examination and 30 September 2027 for the December one, with both papers valid for the July 2026 and January 2027 sessions. The one that applies to you is the one attached to the examination you intend to sit. If your own downloaded paper prints a different date, that date governs, because papers are reissued per cycle.

Why does MPATHA have only sixteen courses but eighty credits?

Because the practical courses are heavier than the theory ones. Seven theory courses carry four credits each and eight practical courses carry six credits each, with a four-credit dissertation on top. Twenty-eight plus forty-eight plus four is eighty, which is what both the Common Prospectus and the Programme Guide print as the total.

Can you write my Acting Practicum or Scene Work assignment?

No, and nobody honestly can. The Programme Guide states that assignments for practical courses are conducted during the workshops at the Programme Study Centre, which run ten to fifteen days a semester and require full attendance. There is no downloadable question paper for MTHL-032, MTHL-033, MTHL-036, MTHL-038, MTHL-041, MTHL-042, MTHL-045 or MTHL-046, so there is nothing for a written set to answer.

Do you write MPATHA papers in Hindi?

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, and on MPATHA that is English alone. The Common Prospectus records English as the medium of instruction, the Programme Guide says the course material is available only in English, and both live portal entries are listed English. There is no Hindi MTH question paper to write against.

I am two years behind on MTH-031. Does a backlog cost extra?

No. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Send the session printed on the paper your enrolment is governed by and the correct edition is used, since papers expire and are replaced each cycle.

Where do I actually submit an MPATHA assignment?

At PSC 07187P, Block 15G, School of Performing and Visual Arts, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, under Regional Centre Delhi 1. The Programme Guide records that as the single Programme Study Centre activated for MPATHA, and as the venue for the practical examinations. Obtain the acknowledgement card receipt when you hand the set in, or post it under certificate of posting.

How many marks does the assignment carry on MPATHA?

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. The portal lists both live MPATHA papers at 100 maximum marks with 30 per cent weightage. The Programme Guide adds that MPATHA requires at least 40 per cent in the assignment component and in the term-end examination separately for each course.

How long will the courier take to reach me?

Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. Send the pin code with your codes and you are given a window for your own address rather than a number written for everybody.

Will the set get me good marks or guarantee acceptance?

No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. What can be described is what arrives: hand-written foolscap pages answering the questions the current paper prints, in a hand matched to your sample, with the front page and the question paper enclosed.

Do I get a PDF or scan as well?

No soft copy or PDF is sold. The order is the physical set only. If you need a scan for your own records, photograph or scan the pages yourself before you submit them, which the Programme Guide recommends in any case.

Every Source Behind This Page, Named

Three kinds of statement appear above and they do not carry the same weight. Keeping them apart is the point of this section.

From the IGNOU Common Prospectus, July 2026 edition. The programme title, the School of Performing and Visual Arts attribution, the sixteen-course structure, the 80-credit total, the course codes and titles as the prospectus prints them, the English medium of instruction, the two-year minimum and four-year maximum duration, the semester-wise fee pattern and the July session of registration. The credit total was summed independently before being reported: seven theory courses at four credits, eight practical courses at six, one four-credit dissertation, which is eighty, matching the printed figure.

From live IGNOU sources fetched on 11 September 2026. The MPATHA programme page at ignou.ac.in supplied the course cards, the exit-award and modular-format statement and the Learner Target Group wording. The official MPATHA Programme Guide, published by the School of Performing and Visual Arts at ignou.ac.in, supplied the foolscap instruction, the four-centimetre margin, the own-handwriting instruction, the workshop arrangement for practical courses, the single Programme Study Centre, the 100 per cent practical attendance rule, the 40 per cent separate-pass requirement, the July-only intake and the first-page layout. The Current Assignments service on ignou.ac.in supplied the live status, medium, maximum marks, weightage, session validity and both term-end due dates for MTH-031 and MTH-034, together with the 18 August 2026 modification date. Two School of Performing and Visual Arts assignment booklets were opened in full for the cover layout, the submission instructions and the assignment-code format; the two MPATHA course papers themselves could not be opened as files, so the MPATHA figures above come from the portal’s own record rather than from the PDFs. For anything that has changed since, the official MPATHA programme page is the place to check.

Send Your MTH Codes and Order

₹320 per subject. Hard copy on foolscap, courier included, IGNOU-format front page and the official question paper enclosed. Any session, current or backlog, at the same rate.

Two routes. Send the MTH codes from your admission record and you are told which papers are live before anything is paid: message the MPATHA desk and confirm your ₹320 order. Or send the handwriting sample first if you would rather see the writing before committing: ask for the handwriting sample before paying ₹320.

Every order is confirmed against the paper IGNOU has actually published for your code and your session, before anything is paid.
