Description
In short. MAMIDI, the MA in Migration and Diaspora run by the School of Interdisciplinary and Trans-disciplinary Studies, is an eighty-credit degree of eighteen courses spread across four semesters, and seventeen of those courses carry a Tutor Marked Assignment. Shri Chakradhar Publication writes any of them out by hand for submission at your Study Centre: the ten MDI papers, MDIE-001 and MDIE-002, the four MPSE papers adopted from Political Science, and the eight-credit MSO-002 adopted from Sociology. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. The eighteenth course, MDIP-001, is the Semester IV project and is not a TMA, so it sits outside this order.
Inside the MAMIDI Packet When It Reaches You
A MAMIDI order arrives as paper, in a courier envelope, subject by subject. For each code you name, the packet holds the full set of answers written out in ink on A4 sheets, in the order the questions appear on the official paper, with the question written above each answer the way the SOITS booklet asks. Nothing in the envelope needs printing, scanning or retyping before it goes to the Study Centre counter.
Sitting on top of each subject’s answer sheets is the IGNOU-format cover page, filled in with the enrolment number, name, address, course code, course title, assignment code and Study Centre you supplied. The MAMIDI front page is not a formality: the January 2023 consolidated booklet prints a specimen layout on its second page and then repeats an instruction to write the enrolment number, name, full address and date at the top right corner of the first response sheet, which means a set without that block can be turned away before it is ever read.
A photocopy of the official question paper travels with each subject as well. That matters more on MAMIDI than on most programmes, because a MAMIDI learner is holding papers from three different issuing desks in one semester, and the assignment code printed at the top of each one is the only reliable way to prove which booklet an answer set was written against. The set arrives loose and unstapled so you can tag or thread the pages the way your own Study Centre prefers.
What does not arrive is a file. No soft copy or PDF is sold. There is no download link, no email attachment and no scanned version held in reserve, because the thing IGNOU accepts at the counter is the physical sheet with ink on it, and that is the only thing this product makes.
Where the ₹320 Stops and Where Your Own Work Begins
The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. One subject means one course code for one session. A learner clearing all five Semester I papers pays for five subjects; a learner who only failed to submit MPSE-005 pays for one. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. Nothing is added for the IGNOU-format front page, nothing for the question-paper copy, nothing for packing, and nothing for the courier.
Two things inside that rate are worth naming because other sellers price them separately. The first is handwriting matching, which is included rather than sold as an upgrade. The second is length. MSO-002 is an eight-credit paper and its 2025-26 booklet asks for two answers of twenty-five marks each plus a research report of about three thousand words, which is several times the writing load of a four-credit MDI paper. It is still one subject at the same rate. So is MDI-010, whose title alone runs to a full line of the prospectus table.
What the rate does not cover is judgement. The answers are prepared against the official question paper for the code and session you name, and you remain the person who signs the declaration. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. Read them before the envelope is closed, not after.
It also does not cover a promise about the outcome. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. And it does not cover a delivery date. Courier times move with the destination, so the working window for your own pin code is confirmed against your order rather than advertised as a number on a page.
Reference File or Submission Copy: Telling the Two Apart
These two products get confused on every MAMIDI enquiry that comes in, and the confusion is expensive, so here is the distinction stated plainly. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for a course code and session, downloaded and read. A handwritten assignment is the answers written out by hand on A4 and submitted in hard copy at the study centre. One is something you study from. The other is something you hand over.
IGNOU’s own MDI-001 booklet for the January and July 2025 sessions closes its instruction block with a single line on the point: You should submit the assignment in your own handwriting.
The consolidated MAMIDI booklet is blunter still, opening its guidelines by saying that assignments should always be hand-written and not printed. Neither sentence leaves room for a downloaded file to be handed in as it stands. A solved PDF is a reference to write from. It is not a submission, and printing one out does not convert it into one.
| What differs | Solved assignment | Handwritten assignment |
|---|---|---|
| Physical form | A file you open on a phone or laptop | Ink on A4 sheets, loose and unstapled |
| What you do with it | Read it, then write your own answers from it | Check it, sign the cover page, hand it in |
| Who it suits | A learner who has the hours to write but not the reading time | A learner who is short of writing hours before a March or September cut-off |
| Handwriting | Not applicable | Matched to a sample page you send |
| Price on this page | Not sold here | ₹320 per subject, courier included |

If a reference file is what you actually want, this is not the page for it. MAMIDI is one of the programmes where the store’s own shelving lags the syllabus: there are MAMIDI study guides and MAMIDI guess papers, but no MAMIDI-specific solved-assignment shelf yet. The nearest working route is the master’s degree solved assignment index, and for the adopted papers the files genuinely do exist under the parent programmes, which is covered further down this page. This product page sells the hard copy only, and says so rather than pointing you in a circle.
Semester I is five papers and one envelope. MDI-001 through MDI-005 written out, front pages filled, question papers copied, couriered as one packet.
₹320 per subject. Courier included. Nothing paid until the handwriting sample has reached you.
The Thirteen Papers SOITS Issues Under Its Own Codes
The table below is read off the Common Prospectus for July 2026, section 3.43, where MAMIDI appears under the School of Interdisciplinary and Trans-disciplinary Studies. Twelve of these thirteen carry a four-credit weighting; MDIP-001, the project, carries eight and is not a TMA. The prospectus writes these codes with a space, as MDI 001, and section 8.39 of the same document writes the identical courses as MDI-1 through MDI-6, which is why the code column below carries the prospectus spelling and the next section explains the rest.
| Code | Official title | Semester | Type | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MDI 001 | Migration and Diaspora: Theory and Methodology | I | Theory | 4 |
| MDI 002 | Transnationalism, diaspora and citizenship | I | Theory | 4 |
| MDI 003 | Global Diasporas: Case Studies | I | Theory | 4 |
| MDI 004 | Indian Diaspora: An Overview | I | Theory | 4 |
| MDI 005 | Indian Diaspora: Politico-Economic and Policy Aspects | I | Theory | 4 |
| MDI 006 | Indian Diaspora: Socio-Cultural Facets | II | Theory | 4 |
| MDIE 001 | Gender and Diaspora | II | Theory | 4 |
| MDIE 002 | Diasporas in India | II | Theory | 4 |
| MDI 007 | Theories of labour and labour markets | III | Theory | 4 |
| MDI 008 | Production Process and Labour markets | III | Theory | 4 |
| MDI 009 | Human Trafficking: An Overview | IV | Theory | 4 |
| MDI 010 | Law, Policies and Institutional Response to Human Trafficking and Migration | IV | Theory | 4 |
| MDIP 001 | Project Work | IV | Project | 8 |

Twelve theory papers at four credits plus one project at eight gives fifty-six credits from this table alone. The remaining twenty-four come from courses MAMIDI does not own, which is where most of the confusion on this programme starts.
The Five Adopted Papers MAMIDI Borrows From Two Other Schools
IGNOU’s own consolidated MAMIDI booklet uses the heading “Adopted Courses” for these, and the label is accurate. Four of them are Political Science electives owned by the School of Social Sciences and issued under the MPS programme. The fifth, MSO-002, is a core Sociology course, also School of Social Sciences, issued under MSO. None of them was written for MAMIDI, and none of their 2025-26 booklets names MAMIDI anywhere on the cover.
| Code | Official title | Semester | Credits | Issued under |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MPSE 001 | India and the World | II | 4 | MPS, School of Social Sciences |
| MPSE 005 | State and Society in Africa | II | 4 | MPS, School of Social Sciences |
| MSO 002 | Research Methodologies and Methods | III | 8 | MSO, School of Social Sciences |
| MPSE 009 | Canada: Politics and Society | III | 4 | MPS, School of Social Sciences |
| MPSE 011 | The European Union in World Affairs | IV | 4 | MPS, School of Social Sciences |
Scroll the table sideways on a narrow screen.
Twenty-four credits here plus fifty-six from the SOITS table is eighty, which is the figure the prospectus states for the programme and the figure printed at the foot of its own course table. The credits also fall evenly at twenty per semester, exactly as section 3.43 says they should. That arithmetic was checked by adding the column rather than by trusting the printed total, because the neighbouring PGDMIDI table in the same document does not survive the same test, and that is dealt with below.
The practical consequence of adoption is that three question papers in one semester can look nothing like each other. The MPSE booklets divide into two sections and ask for five answers in total with at least two drawn from each section, roughly five hundred words for the long ones and two hundred and fifty for the short. MSO-002 splits differently again: two answers of twenty-five marks from a list of five, then one research report of about three thousand words for the remaining fifty. The MDI and MDIE papers use neither pattern. A learner in Semester III is therefore writing to three separate rubrics at once, and a set prepared to the wrong one is the most common avoidable defect on this programme.
Solved-assignment files for the adopted codes are not missing from the store, they are simply filed under the parent programme. MPSE-001, MPSE-005, MPSE-009 and MPSE-011 sit on the Political Science assignment shelf where the MPSE files live, and MSO-002 sits on the Sociology shelf that carries the eight-credit research-methods paper. Searching either one for “MAMIDI” returns nothing, which is why learners assume the files do not exist.
One Programme, Three Desks, and Where the Paperwork Disagrees
Everything in the box below was found by reading IGNOU’s own documents against each other during this build: the Common Prospectus for July 2026, three live 2025-26 assignment booklets on ignou.ac.in, and the consolidated MAMIDI booklet still hosted on the university’s assignment portal. None of it is a criticism of the university; large multi-school programmes accumulate this kind of drift. It is published here because a MAMIDI learner who does not know about it will assume the discrepancy is their own mistake.
Seven places the MAMIDI paperwork does not agree with itself, plus one of our own.
1. Two March deadlines in one booklet. The consolidated MAMIDI booklet prints “July Session 30th March” in its own front matter, and then, three pages later in the adopted Political Science section, prints March 31 for the July session. One PDF, two March dates, one day apart.
2. Two submission destinations in one booklet. The same front matter directs completed responses to the Programme Coordinator at Block 15, New Academic Block, Maidan Garhi. Its own guideline list, and the adopted section, both direct them to the Coordinator of your allotted Study Centre instead.
3. The MDIE-001 paper prints another course’s assignment code. The live 2025-26 booklet for Gender and Diaspora carries a summary block reading “Assignment Code: MDI-001/TMA-01/2025-26” above the heading for MIGRATION AND DIASPORA: THEORY AND METHODOLOGY, then gives the correct MDIE-1/TMA-01/2025-26 immediately below it. Fetching the MDI-001 booklet alongside it confirms this is template carry-over on the MDIE paper, not a variant format.
4. IGNOU’s own file path transposes the code. The MDIE-001 booklet is served from a file named MIDE-01, not MDIE-01, on ignou.ac.in.
5. The PGDMIDI credit column does not add up to its own total. Section 8.39 lists nine courses whose credits sum to forty, under a printed total of thirty-two. The gap is only closed by a footnote allowing MDIE-001 and MDIE-002 together in lieu of the MDIP-001 project. Read the column without the footnote and the diploma looks eight credits larger than it is.
6. The exit award does not match the year it is awarded for. Section 3.43 says a learner completing the first year of MAMIDI qualifies for PGDMIDI. MAMIDI’s first year is forty credits. PGDMIDI is thirty-two, and its course list excludes MPSE-001 and MPSE-005, both of which are MAMIDI Semester II papers. Confirm your position with your Regional Centre before assuming an exit.
7. Three names, two spellings, one typo. The prospectus calls the degree “Master of Arts in Migration and Diaspora” in its programme list, “Master of Arts Migration and Diaspora” in the section heading and “M.A. in Migration and Diaspora” in the body. The school is “Trans-disciplinary” in section 3.43 and “Transdisciplinary” in section 8.39. The MDI-001 title loses its final letter in section 8.39, printing as “Theory and Methodolog”.
8. Ours, not theirs. This store lists MAMIDI study guides and MAMIDI guess papers but has no MAMIDI solved-assignment category, and carries a project shelf for PGDMIDI while MAMIDI’s own MDIP-001 has none. Several older product pages elsewhere on this store still advertise handwritten assignments at ₹300 and print a delivery window this page does not promise. Those are our errors and they are being corrected.
Where two IGNOU documents disagree, the live booklet on ignou.ac.in for your session wins, and your Regional Centre settles anything the booklet leaves open. Programme structures, course codes, submission dates and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment.
The Thirtieth or the Thirty-First of March, and Which One Is Yours
MAMIDI does not run on the October and April cycle that the management programmes use. Both dates on this programme land in March and September, and both were read off live booklets rather than carried across from another school.
The 2025-26 SOITS papers for MDI-001 and MDIE-001 print the deadline against the examination rather than the session: 30th September for the December term-end examination, and 31st March for the June one. The School of Social Sciences booklet for MPSE-001 prints the same two calendar dates against the session instead: March 31 for the July 2025 session, September 30 for the January 2026 session. Those are not contradictory, they are the same pair of dates described from opposite ends, and a learner comparing two booklets side by side should not read them as a conflict.
The genuine conflict is the older consolidated booklet, which prints 30th March for the July session in its own front matter while its adopted section prints March 31. Where the two disagree, the newer single-course booklet for your session is the one to follow, and one day of margin costs nothing. Submitting a week early costs nothing either.
These deadlines are not marks-only. Every MDI booklet repeats that submitting the assignment is compulsory before the term-end examination can be taken, which puts the TMA in front of the exam hall rather than beside it. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. Papers also expire: each cycle replaces the question set, and answers written against a superseded paper will not match the questions your evaluator is holding.
Five Ways One MAMIDI Code Gets Written Down
Almost every mis-ordered MAMIDI set traces back to a code being copied from the wrong line of the wrong document. The same course legitimately appears under several spellings, and knowing which is which removes most of the risk.
The course code identifies the subject. Migration and Diaspora: Theory and Methodology is written MDI 001 with a space in prospectus section 3.43 and on the booklet cover, MDI-1 in prospectus section 8.39 and in the booklet’s running head, and MDI-001 on the booklet’s own CourseCode line. All three are the same paper. The fourth spelling is IGNOU’s file name, which for Gender and Diaspora reads MIDE-01 rather than MDIE-01.
The assignment code identifies the question set, and this is the one that goes on your cover page. On the SOITS papers it takes the form MDI-001/TMA-01/2025-26, with the course code, the TMA number and the academic session. On the adopted Political Science paper it drops the course code entirely and reads ASST/TMA/2025-26. On the adopted Sociology paper it takes a third shape again, MSO-002/AST/TMA/2025-26, with AST rather than ASST. The consolidated MAMIDI booklet used a fifth form, an assignment number reading MAMIDI/January 2023 on its cover and MAMIDI/2023 on its specimen front page.
The rule that survives all five is simple. Copy the assignment code exactly as printed on the paper you actually downloaded, character for character, including the session. Do not standardise it, do not tidy the punctuation, and do not copy it from a seller’s listing or from a previous year’s set. If your paper carries the carry-over error described above and shows two different assignment codes, take the one printed directly beneath the words TUTOR MARKED ASSIGNMENT alongside your own course title, and keep the PDF in case the Study Centre queries it.
Not sure which of the five forms your paper is printing? Send a photograph of the top of your booklet and the code will be read off it before anything is written.
₹320 per subject, hard copy, courier included. Any MAMIDI or adopted code, any session.
A Hand Copied From a Page You Send
Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. The point is not decorative. A MAMIDI learner submitting five papers in one semester is handing a single Coordinator five sets at once, and a set that reads as five different hands invites a question nobody wants to answer at a counter in March.
What makes a sample photo usable
A usable sample is half a page of ordinary running prose in the pen you normally use, photographed flat in daylight with the whole sheet in frame. Copy out a paragraph from any MDI block rather than writing your name over and over, because a matcher needs to see how you form a full sentence, where you break lines and how you handle a capital at the start of a clause. A photograph of a signature, a shopping list or a page shot at an angle gives too little to work from. If your handwriting has changed since you enrolled, send the current one rather than a neater old sample, since consistency across the packet matters more than elegance.
The sample also functions as the point where the risk sits with the publisher rather than with you. The matched writing sample goes back to you on WhatsApp before any payment is taken, and if the hand does not look like yours, nothing has been spent.
English Only, Any Semester, Backlogs Included
MAMIDI is an English-medium programme. The Common Prospectus states the medium of instruction as English for both MAMIDI and its PGDMIDI companion, and the assignment booklets are issued in English only, with no Hindi parallel of the kind MEG or MSO carry for some papers. That is a real constraint rather than a shortage: there is no Hindi MAMIDI TMA to order. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. On this programme that resolves to English.
Session coverage is wider than the current cycle. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. This is the ordinary case on MAMIDI rather than the exception, because the programme is examined semester-wise while its assignments are issued session-wise, so a learner who has slipped a semester is routinely holding a mixed set: two current papers and one from a cycle that closed a year ago.
One instruction from IGNOU’s own consolidated booklet is worth carrying into any backlog conversation. It tells learners that whatever year they registered in, the assignment to submit is the latest one uploaded to the website. If you are clearing an old code, the question set you owe is very often the current one rather than the one you first downloaded, and confirming that with your Regional Centre before writing is cheaper than writing twice.
What to Put in the First WhatsApp Message
Five things settle a MAMIDI order, and sending them together removes an entire round of questions.
- Your codes, one per line, exactly as printed. MDI 007, MPSE 009, MSO 002 and so on. If a code is one of the adopted papers, saying so helps, because its booklet lives on a different part of ignou.ac.in.
- The session printed on each paper. Not the year you enrolled. The session on the booklet, for example 2025-26, or January 2026 if your booklet names a calendar session instead.
- A photograph of the top of each booklet. The block carrying the course code, course title and assignment code. This is what settles the code-form question in one step.
- Your handwriting sample. Half a page of running prose, flat, in daylight.
- Delivery pin code and the name for the front page. Enrolment number, name, address and Study Centre as they appear on your records, since the cover page is filled from what you send.
Nothing else is needed. There is no form to complete, no account to create and no file to upload.
Ready to send the list? Codes, sessions, booklet photographs, handwriting sample and pin code in one message, and a quote comes back against it.
₹320 per subject. Front page, question-paper copy and courier already inside that figure.
Checking the Set Before It Goes to the Study Centre
Open the envelope the day it arrives rather than the day before the deadline. Run four checks, in this order.
First, the codes. Confirm that each subject in the packet matches a code on your own registration, and that the assignment code on each cover page matches the code printed on the booklet you downloaded. On a programme with five assignment-code forms in circulation, this is the check worth doing twice.
Second, the questions. Compare the question written above each answer against your own PDF. The MDI papers print seven questions and ask for any five; if a set answers a different five than you intended, that is easier to raise now than after submission.
Third, the cover page. Enrolment number digit by digit, name, address, Study Centre, and your own signature, which is the one thing nobody else can add. Then read the answers themselves, all the way through, before the envelope is closed. The signature at the foot of that cover page is a declaration about the content sitting above it, and the only person who can stand behind that declaration is the learner whose enrolment number is printed beside it.
Fourth, submission. Hand the set to the Coordinator of your allotted Study Centre and take the receipt; IGNOU’s own booklet tells you to obtain and keep one. Keep a photocopy of every page. If your Regional Centre has issued a current instruction to submit online instead, follow that instruction rather than this paragraph, because the destination is one of the things MAMIDI’s own booklet states two different ways.
What Else MAMIDI Learners Pick Up With This Order
Most MAMIDI orders are placed a few weeks before a March or September cut-off, which is also when the term-end examination starts to loom, so a handwritten set is rarely the only thing in the basket.
For the blocks themselves, the MAMIDI study guides written against the MDI syllabus condense the units into something readable in the last fortnight, and the MAMIDI solved guess papers cover the question patterns that recur across sessions. Learners taking the one-year exit route or arriving through it will want the PGDMIDI diploma books, which cover the same MDI-1 to MDI-6 span under the diploma’s own code spelling.
When MDIP-001 comes round in Semester IV, the closest shelf on this store is bound project reports filed under PGDMIDI, since a MAMIDI project shelf has not been created yet. That gap is listed in the correction queue rather than hidden. For soft-copy reference material generally, the full solved-assignment hub is the entry point, and if you also study a code from another IGNOU programme, a customised handwritten order covering any course and session handles the codes that fall outside MAMIDI. The handwritten shelf covering every IGNOU programme lists the rest.
If what you would rather do is write the set yourself, the companion editorial site publishes a step-by-step walkthrough of format, front page and submission at ignouproject.com, and the official papers themselves are always free from the IGNOU assignment download service.
What MAMIDI Learners Ask Before They Pay
Which MAMIDI codes can be written by hand here?
All seventeen that carry a Tutor Marked Assignment: MDI-001 to MDI-010, MDIE-001, MDIE-002, MPSE-001, MPSE-005, MPSE-009, MPSE-011 and MSO-002. The eighteenth course, MDIP-001, is the Semester IV project rather than a TMA, so it is not part of this order.
Is the eight-credit MSO-002 paper charged more than a four-credit MDI paper?
No. MSO-002 asks for two twenty-five-mark answers plus a research report of roughly three thousand words, which is a considerably longer job than a four-credit MDI paper, and it is still counted as one subject at the same ₹320, with the courier and the IGNOU-format front page already inside that figure and no surcharge for length.
My MPSE-001 booklet says Political Science and never mentions MAMIDI. Have I downloaded the wrong paper?
No. MPSE-001 is an adopted course. Its booklet is issued by the School of Social Sciences under the MPS programme and its applicability line names only Master’s in Political Science, because MPSE-001 was written for that degree and MAMIDI borrows it. The same is true of MPSE-005, MPSE-009, MPSE-011 and of MSO-002, whose booklet prints its programme code as MSO. That is the correct paper for your MAMIDI Semester II.
Which March date applies to me, the thirtieth or the thirty-first?
Follow the booklet you actually downloaded for your session. The 2025-26 SOITS papers print 31st March against the June examination and 30th September against the December one. The older consolidated MAMIDI booklet prints 30th March for the July session in its front matter while its adopted section prints March 31. Where a document disagrees with itself, treat the earlier date as the working one and confirm with your Regional Centre.
My MDIE-001 paper prints the MDI-001 assignment code. Which one goes on the front page?
Use MDIE-1/TMA-01/2025-26, the code printed directly beneath the TUTOR MARKED ASSIGNMENT heading next to the Gender and Diaspora title. The MDI-001 code higher up that page is template carry-over from the Theory and Methodology paper, confirmed by comparing the two booklets side by side. Keep the PDF so you can show the Study Centre where the second code came from if it is ever queried.
Does a solved assignment PDF count as a submission at the study centre?
No. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for a course code and session; a handwritten assignment is the answers written out by hand on A4 and submitted in hard copy at the study centre. IGNOU’s MDI booklet asks you to submit in your own handwriting, and the consolidated MAMIDI booklet says assignments should always be hand-written and not printed. A downloaded file is something to write from, not something to hand in.
Solved assignment aur handwritten assignment mein kya difference hai?
Solved assignment ek soft copy reference file hai: model answers, PDF format, padhne ke liye. Handwritten assignment wo hai jo A4 sheets par haath se likha jaata hai aur study centre par hard copy mein jama hota hai. Is page par sirf handwritten hard copy milti hai. Yahan koi PDF ya soft copy nahi bechi jaati, sirf haath se likhi hui A4 sheets courier hoti hain.
Can a printed or typed MAMIDI answer sheet be handed in?
The MAMIDI booklet’s own guideline list opens by saying assignments should always be hand-written and not printed, and the MDI-001 paper repeats that you should submit in your own handwriting. Some Regional Centres issue their own instruction permitting a scanned upload of handwritten pages, and a small number of learners are permitted typed submission on documented medical grounds. Neither is a general rule, so check your own Regional Centre’s current notice before deviating.
Should I buy a solved file as well as the handwritten set?
Only if you want the answers to read from before the examination, which is a different job from submission. Many MAMIDI learners take the handwritten set for the March cut-off and a reference file for revision. For the adopted codes the reference files exist under the parent programmes rather than under MAMIDI, which is why searching for a MAMIDI solved assignment returns so little.
Do I send the whole MAMIDI booklet or only my own codes?
Only the codes you are registered for. The consolidated MAMIDI booklet carries every first-year paper together and tells learners to do the assignments only of the courses they are enrolled in and leave the rest. Sending the whole booklet does not increase the price, but naming your codes speeds the quote considerably.
I am taking the PGDMIDI exit after the first year. Are my codes different?
Partly, and this is worth checking with your Regional Centre rather than assuming. PGDMIDI is a thirty-two credit award built from MDI-1 to MDI-6 plus either the MDIP-001 project or MDIE-001 and MDIE-002 together. MAMIDI’s own first year is forty credits and includes MPSE-001 and MPSE-005, which the diploma list does not carry. Whichever codes appear on your registration are the ones written.
Is MDIP-001, the project, included in this order?
No. MDIP-001 is Project Work carrying eight credits in Semester IV, and the prospectus classes it as a project in the MAMIDI table and as a practical in the PGDMIDI table. It is a different piece of work from a Tutor Marked Assignment and is not written under this product.
What if my paper is from an older session that is no longer on the portal?
Send whatever you have, including a photograph of the printed booklet if the PDF has gone. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Do check first whether IGNOU now expects the current question set instead: its own MAMIDI booklet tells learners to submit the latest assignment uploaded to the website regardless of registration year.
Is MAMIDI available in Hindi?
No. The Common Prospectus records the medium of instruction for MAMIDI, and for the PGDMIDI diploma, as English, and the MDI and MDIE booklets are issued in English only. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For MAMIDI that means English.
Do I have to order all seventeen codes at once?
No. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. A single backlog paper is an ordinary order. So is a full semester of five.
How long does the packet take to reach me?
Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. If a specific date matters because a cut-off is close, say so in the first message so the position can be confirmed honestly before anything is written.
Where Each Line on This Page Came From
From the IGNOU Common Prospectus, July 2026. Every course code, official title, semester placement, course type and credit figure in both tables above, plus the eighty-credit total, the English medium of instruction, the semester-wise examination mode, the January and July intake, the two-year minimum and four-year maximum duration, the modular structure with lateral entry and exit, and the PGDMIDI exit award. Section 3.43 covers MAMIDI, section 8.39 covers PGDMIDI, and the programme-list row for MAMIDI is entry 69. Credits were summed independently and reconciled to the printed total of eighty before the tables were published.

Submission dates, assignment-code forms, question patterns and cover-page applicability were read off five documents fetched during this build: the 2025-26 MDI-001 booklet, the 2025-26 MDIE-001 booklet, the 2025-26 MPSE-001 booklet, the 2025-26 MSO-002 booklet, and the consolidated MAMIDI booklet for January 2023. The thirty per cent assignment weighting is printed on the MSO-002 paper. Nothing on this page carries a date, a question pattern or an assignment code taken from another programme.
From the publisher’s own commercial terms. The ₹320 rate, hard-copy-only format, included courier, free IGNOU-format front page, included question-paper copy, handwriting matching at no extra charge, absence of a minimum order and acceptance of any session are Shri Chakradhar Publication’s own trading terms. They are not IGNOU policy and are not represented as such.

No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.
