Description
In short. A handwritten assignment is the answer set for IGNOU’s Tutor Marked Assignment questions, written out by hand on paper and handed in as a hard copy to the Coordinator of your Study Centre, and for MAJMC, the 80-credit Master of Arts (Journalism and Mass Communication) taught year wise over two years by the School of Journalism and New Media Studies, Shri Chakradhar Publication prepares that set one course code at a time across the twelve theory papers that actually carry a question paper: MJM-020/120, MJM-021, MJM-022, MJM-023, MJM-024/124 and MJM-025 in Year One, then MJM-026/126, MJM-027, MJM-028, MJM-029, MJM-030/130 and MJM-031 in Year Two, while the MJML practicals, the MJMT internship and the MJMP project carry manuals on eGyankosh rather than a TMA paper and are outside this order. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, which on MAJMC means English, Hindi or Tamil, because section 3.62 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus records the medium of instruction as all three. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. On each MJM code that 30 per cent is collected through a single hundred-mark paper of five questions worth twenty marks each. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
What Lands in Your Hands When the MJM Packet Arrives
A MAJMC order is a physical object, not a download, and it is worth knowing exactly what the courier hands over. For every course code you name, the packet holds one complete answer set written by hand on A4 sheets in blue or black ink, with the question number written out before each answer and a left margin left clear for the evaluator’s remarks. Alongside it sits an IGNOU-format front page, already carrying your enrolment number, your programme code, the course code, the assignment code and the session, with the name, signature and study-centre-code fields deliberately left empty because those are yours to complete on the day you hand the set in.
A printed copy of the official TMA question paper for that code and session travels in the same packet. This matters more on MAJMC than on many programmes, because the SOJNMS booklets set questions that name specific years and specific campaigns. The MJM-020/120 paper for the January 2026 and July 2026 sessions asks about Westley and Maclean’s model against present-day social media algorithms and about a recent instance of cancel culture read through the spiral of silence; the MJM-029 paper for the previous cycle asks about the Swachhata campaign themed “Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskaar Swachhata” in 2024. A study centre coordinator flipping through your set can see at a glance whether the answers belong to the paper stapled behind them.
No soft copy or PDF is sold. That is a scope statement rather than a limitation to work around: the object IGNOU accepts at the counter is paper, and a file emailed to you is not that object.
Reading the ₹320 Line Before You Order
The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Working out what a MAJMC year costs is therefore arithmetic rather than negotiation. Six theory codes carry a paper in Year One and six in Year Two, so a learner ordering a complete year is ordering six sets, and a learner clearing two backlog codes from an older cycle is ordering two. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
Inside that figure sit the writing itself, the paper and ink, the IGNOU-format front page, the printed question paper and the courier to your address. Outside it sit anything IGNOU charges you directly, the practical and project components that carry no TMA paper, and any re-registration or examination fee. There is one more thing outside it, and it is the important one: no claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.
Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. If you need a set in hand by a particular date, say the date when you send your codes and the position for your pin code comes back before money changes hands, rather than after.
Reference PDF or Submittable Paper: Telling the Two Apart
Two different products get searched for with almost the same words, and MAJMC learners lose time to the confusion every session. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and session, read on a screen and used as raw material while you write. A handwritten assignment is those answers written out by hand on paper and submitted as a hard copy at the study centre, which is the object the counter actually takes in. One is something to read from. The other is something to hand over. A downloaded PDF cannot be submitted as it stands, and printing it produces a printout rather than a handwritten set.
| MAJMC solved assignment | MAJMC handwritten assignment | |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Soft copy, read on a screen | Hard copy, ink on A4 |
| What you do with it | Read it, then write your own answers from it | Check it, sign the front page, hand it in |
| Who it suits | Learners who will do the writing and want the reading shortened | Learners short of writing time across six MJM codes |
| Rate on this store | Priced per code in the MAJMC solved-assignment category | ₹320 per subject, courier included |

What does the MAJMC paper itself say about submission? Less than most learners assume, and reporting it accurately is more useful than overstating it. The Year One booklet for the January 2026 and July 2026 sessions closes its guidance with a section headed Presentation, which asks you to write down the final version for submission, writing each answer neatly, and instructs that the assignments be submitted to the Coordinator of your Study Centre within the stipulated time in order to be eligible to appear in the term-end examination. It also requires your enrolment number, name, address, assignment code and study centre code on the first page. It does not, on the SOJNMS files read for this page, print an explicit prohibition on typing or printing the way some other schools’ booklets do. The submission route it describes is nevertheless a physical set handed to a named human being who issues you a receipt.
If a soft-copy reference is what you actually want for a MJM code, the store has a separate home for it and this page is not it: the MAJMC solved-assignment listing sits under the master-degree assignment category, code by code. Ordering the reference file and writing the set yourself is a perfectly reasonable plan, and it is a different purchase from this one.
Twelve MJM theory codes. One rate.
₹320 per subject, hard copy, courier already inside that figure. Send the codes exactly as your registration slip spells them and say which year you are in.
The Twelve MJM Theory Codes That Carry a Question Paper
MAJMC runs to 80 credits, examined year wise rather than by semester, with 40 credits to be completed in each year. Its theory spine is unusually easy to misread, because IGNOU numbers the six-credit papers in a 1xx series and the four-credit papers in an 0xx series, and then prints some of the six-credit codes twice with a slash. The table below gives the structure as section 3.62 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus records it, with the alternative numbering shown as the assignment booklets print it.
| Year | Code | Official title | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| One | MJM 120 (booklet: MJM-020/120) | Introduction to Journalism and Mass Communication | 6 |
| One | MJM 021 | Reporting Techniques | 4 |
| One | MJM 022 | Writing and Editing for Print Media | 4 |
| One | MJM 023 | Broadcast and Online Journalism | 4 |
| One | MJM 124 (booklet: MJM-024/124) | Media and Society | 6 |
| One | MJM 025 | Media Ethics and Laws | 4 |
| Two | MJM 126 (booklet: MJM-026/126) | Print Media | 6 |
| Two | MJM 027 | Electronic Media | 4 |
| Two | MJM 028 | Digital Media | 4 |
| Two | MJM 029 | Advertising and Public Relations | 4 |
| Two | MJM 130 (booklet: MJM-030/130) | Media and Communication Theories | 6 |
| Two | MJM 031 | Communication Research Methods | 4 |

The credit arithmetic was checked rather than assumed, because prospectus tables for adjacent programmes bleed into one another and MAJMC sits between MSCCHEM and MAJDM in the file. Year One theory sums to 28 credits and Year Two theory sums to 28 credits. Neither year reaches 40 on theory alone, which is the structural fact that decides what this order can and cannot cover.
Practicals, Internship and Project: Where the Other 24 Credits Live
The gap between 28 and 40 is closed by components that carry no Tutor Marked Assignment paper, and no handwritten set can be produced for them because there is nothing to answer. In Year One you take any two of three six-credit practicals: MJML 220 Practical: Print, MJML 221 Practical: Audiovisual and MJML 023 Practical: Digital Media, which together add 12 credits and bring the year to 40. In Year Two two separate choices of one each add 6 credits apiece. The first pairs MJML 222 Practical: Research Methodology against MJMT 021 Internship. The second pairs MJMP 120 Major Project Work (Dissertation) against MJMP 022 Research Portfolio. Twenty-eight plus six plus six is 40, and 40 plus 40 is the stated total of 80.
Two details are worth carrying into your planning. The prospectus records that the practical and project manuals are available in digital form only on eGyankosh, so nothing is posted to you for those codes. And it records that in MJMP-120, learners have to arrange for a research supervisor themselves, which is a piece of legwork with a long lead time. If a project report or synopsis is the part you are stuck on, that is separate work and lives in the MAJMC project hard-copy section of this store rather than here.
Note also that the practical numbering breaks its own pattern. Two of the Year One practicals sit in a 22x series and the third, MJML 023, does not, sharing a numeral with the theory paper MJM 023. Year Two repeats the trick, with MJMP 120 and MJMP 022 sitting side by side under one prefix. When you write a code on a front page, copy it from your registration record rather than from memory.
Where the MAJMC Paperwork Contradicts Itself
This page was built by reading IGNOU’s own documents against each other rather than by restating a syllabus. Doing that on MAJMC turns up disagreements that affect what you write on a cover page, so they are listed here rather than quietly resolved.
Conflicts found in IGNOU’s own MAJMC documents, and in this store’s own older pages.
1. Year One booklets print no submission date; Year Two does. The MJM-020/120 file for January 2026 and July 2026 and the MJM-022 file for the January 2025 and July 2025 cycle both print a due-date line that only tells you to check the website. The MJM-029 file for that same 2025 cycle, from the same school, prints 31 March for the June term-end examination and 30 September for December.
2. Both Year One booklets tell you to submit one assignment in each of the eight courses, then list six codes. The likely reading is that the count includes the two practicals, which are not in the booklet.
3. Four assignment-code formats are in live circulation for one programme: MJM-020/120 with the session on its own line, MJM-022/ Jan.2025/ July2025 Cycle, MJM-029/Jan25/Jul25, and the older MJM-020/ Jan 2021. No MAJMC file read for this page uses a TMA token in the code at all.
4. MJM-025 is titled Media Ethics and Laws in section 3.62 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus and Media Laws and Ethics in section 3.63 of the same document, where the same code appears in the MAJDM table.
5. The cover-page applicability list changed between cycles. The 2025 Year One booklet is headed for PGJMC and MAJMC. The 2026 Year One booklet adds the online-mode variants and is headed for MAJMC, MAJMCOL, PGJMC and PGJMCOL.
6. Tamil appears twice in the prospectus programme table, once as a medium of MAJMC and once as a separate programme code, MAJMCT, listed at entry 50A with its own fee line.
7. IGNOU’s live MAJMC programme page states that lateral-entry learners will be required to study only the second-year courses. Section 3.62 of the prospectus assigns MNM-034 Mobile Journalism and MNM-036 Digital Media Literacy to PGJMC holders with 32 credits, and MNM-036 to those with 36.
8. The dates MAJMC has printed have drifted. A January 2021 file printed 30 September 2021. A 2021-22 second-year file printed 30 April and 30 September. The 2024-25 second-year file prints 31 March and 30 September. Aggregator sites currently circulate 30 April, 15 September and 31 October for the same programme.
9. In-house, and being corrected. Older pages on this store carry a ₹300 rate and an 8-to-10-working-day figure that this page does not repeat; the MAJMC first-year book combo names MAEDU and PGDEMA in its title; and MAJMC project products still use the code MJMP-20 where the current prospectus prints MJMP 120. Disclosing that is more useful to you than leaving it to be discovered.
Why Your Year One Booklet Prints No Deadline and Year Two Does
Deadlines at IGNOU are set per school, and carrying another programme’s dates across is how learners end up submitting into a closed window. The 31 October and 30 April pair widely quoted online belongs to the School of Management Studies. MAJMC belongs to the School of Journalism and New Media Studies, and its own files behave differently in each year of the programme.
The second-year file states the position plainly: 31 March for the June term-end examination and 30 September for the December one, followed by an instruction to check the website for the latest update. The first-year files, in both the 2025 and 2026 cycles, print only that instruction and no dates at all. That is not an oversight you should read around. It means a first-year MAJMC learner has no printed cut-off on the paper in front of them and has to take the date from a Regional Centre notice or the assignment portal instead.
The practical consequence for ordering is simple. Work backwards from the earlier of the two dates that could apply to your term-end examination, allow for the writing and the courier, and send your codes with room to spare. Papers expire and are replaced: each MAJMC booklet is stamped with the cycle it belongs to, a set written against last cycle’s questions answers questions no longer asked, and the booklet you download today will be superseded. Order against the session printed on the cover of the file you actually hold.
Decoding MJM-020/120 and the Slash in Your Assignment Code
The assignment code is the string a study centre uses to file your set, and on MAJMC it is not obvious. Take the current first-year paper. The booklet heads it MJM-020/120: Introduction to Journalism and Mass Communication, gives the assignment code as MJM-020/120, and puts the session on a separate line reading January 2026/ July 2026. The slash inside the code is not a session divider. It carries two numbers for one course, the 0xx number inherited from the older PGJMC-era file and the 1xx number the six-credit revision introduced. The same doubling appears on MJM-024/124, MJM-026/126 and MJM-030/130, and only on the six-credit papers. The four-credit papers such as MJM-021 and MJM-027 carry a single number.
Older files join the session to the code with slashes instead, so a 2025 second-year paper reads MJM-029/Jan25/Jul25 while a first-year paper from the same cycle reads MJM-022/ Jan.2025/ July2025 Cycle, complete with a full stop after Jan. The Hindi editions render the same code in Devanagari, so the January 2026 file for the first paper prints एमजेएम-020/120 with the session line below it. None of these are wrong, and none should be normalised into each other on your front page. Copy the code exactly as it appears on the booklet you downloaded, including whichever spacing and punctuation your edition uses.
One more thing the booklet does that trips people up: it numbers the papers by their position in the file, not by their code. The MJM-020/120 paper is headed Assignment 01 and MJM-022 is headed Assignment 03. That number describes where the paper sits in the booklet and is not part of the code you write down.
Your Own Hand, Reproduced From a Photo You Send
Consistency matters across a MAJMC year in a way it does not on a single-paper programme. If you write MJM-021 yourself in February and order MJM-023 and MJM-025 in March, three sets reach the same coordinator under one enrolment number, and three visibly different hands invite a question you would rather not answer. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. The matching covers letter shapes, slant, spacing and general density, so a set written to order sits alongside one you wrote yourself without announcing itself.
What Makes a Usable Sample Photo
Half a page of your ordinary handwriting is enough, and ordinary is the operative word: a page written slowly and decoratively teaches the wrong hand. Photograph it flat in daylight, with the whole sheet in frame and no shadow across the middle. Lined or unlined paper both work. If more than one person will be submitting under your enrolment across the year, send the hand you will actually be signing beside.
You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. On a programme whose questions ask you to analyse a campaign or evaluate a paradigm against an Indian government programme, that reading is worth doing carefully rather than as a formality.
English, Hindi or Tamil, and Any Cycle You Are Still Clearing
The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. MAJMC is one of the few master’s programmes where that sentence does real work, because section 3.62 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus records the medium of instruction as English, Hindi and Tamil, and IGNOU’s own learning management system lists MJM course pages in all three scripts. A Hindi-medium learner ordering MJM-026/126 gets the answers in Hindi against the Hindi paper, and the rate does not move.
Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Three MAJMC situations make that unusually relevant. A learner who took the lateral-entry route from PGJMC with 32 credits carries MNM-034 and MNM-036 alongside the second-year MJM codes, which is a mixed-prefix order rather than a clean year. A learner readmitted inside the four-year maximum duration may be clearing first-year codes against a booklet two cycles old. And a learner who took the exit award after Year One and later returned is holding a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication rather than a part-finished master’s, with a different code history behind them. None of that changes the per-code rate.
If you are on the online-mode variant, note that the 2026 first-year booklet is addressed to MAJMCOL and PGJMCOL as well, and the same paper serves both. Study material and help books for that variant sit in the MAJMCOL section of the master-degree book catalogue.
The Short List SOJNMS Learners Send Before Writing Starts
Five pieces of information start a MAJMC order, and nothing else is needed at this stage.
- The MJM codes you want, copied from your registration record with the slash intact where your edition prints one.
- Whether you are in Year One or Year Two, or entered laterally from PGJMC, since that decides which booklet the questions come from.
- The session printed on the cover of the booklet you downloaded, in IGNOU’s own wording, such as January 2026 and July 2026 Sessions.
- Your medium, because the same code exists in English, Hindi and Tamil editions with different questions.
- Your delivery pin code.
Your enrolment number and name are needed later, for the front page, and not to get a quote. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
One MJM code or a full second year.
₹320 per subject either way, with the courier already counted in. Send your codes, your year and your pin code, and the position comes back before anything is paid.
From Courier Box to Study Centre Counter
When the packet arrives, read the answers before you do anything else, because the declaration on the cover page is signed by you and not by anyone here. Check that each set matches the question paper stapled behind it, that the code on the front page is the code on your registration record, and that the session line matches the booklet you are submitting against.
Then follow what the SOJNMS booklet asks of you. Fill in your name, signature and study centre code. Hand the set to the Coordinator of your Study Centre. Obtain a receipt for the assignments submitted and keep it, and keep a photocopy of the set as well: the booklet recommends both, and it also notes that after evaluation the assignments are to be returned to you by the Study Centre, so it is worth asking for them back. The marks are then sent by the centre to the Student Evaluation Division at IGNOU in New Delhi, which is why they appear on your grade card some weeks after you submit rather than immediately.
If your Regional Centre runs an upload route for the current cycle instead, what it wants is a scan of handwritten pages, not a document produced on a computer. Scan flat, check the orientation, and keep the confirmation.
What Sits Next to a Handwritten MJM Set in Most Orders
Learners rarely order in isolation, and the rest of the MAJMC shelf is worth knowing about. If the reading is the bottleneck rather than the writing, condensed guides for the MJM codes are shelved in the MAJMC help-book catalogue, and past term-end papers for the same codes are collected under MAJMC previous-year solved papers, which is useful because the assignment asks you to answer all five questions while the term-end paper asks you to attempt any five from a longer list. Expected-question sets for the June and December sittings are grouped as MAJMC guess papers.
Learners who exited after Year One, or who are entering Year Two laterally, often want the diploma-side material as well, which is catalogued separately as PGJMC study material with a matching PGJMC expected-question set. Anyone on the sister programme should note that MJM-021, MJM-023 and MJM-025 also appear in the MAJDM table, so the MAJDM book listing overlaps with this one at three codes.
Handwritten work for programmes outside journalism is gathered on the handwritten assignment hub, and if your code set spans two programmes at once there is a general customised handwritten listing that takes any mixture. Learners who would rather write the set themselves will find the presentation rules, the front-page format and the submission routes written up free on the companion site, in the step-by-step handwritten assignment guide on ignouproject.com.
Things MAJMC Learners Check Before They Pay
How many MAJMC codes actually need a handwritten assignment?
Twelve across the degree, six per year: MJM-020/120, MJM-021, MJM-022, MJM-023, MJM-024/124 and MJM-025 in Year One, and MJM-026/126, MJM-027, MJM-028, MJM-029, MJM-030/130 and MJM-031 in Year Two. The MJML practicals, MJMT-021 Internship and the MJMP project codes carry manuals on eGyankosh instead of a TMA question paper, so there is nothing to write out for them.
What is the difference between an MAJMC solved assignment and an MAJMC handwritten assignment?
A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one MJM code and session, meant to be read and written from. A handwritten assignment is those answers written out by hand on A4 and submitted as a hard copy at the study centre. Only the second one is an object you can hand across a counter. This page sells the handwritten set; the reference files for MJM codes are listed separately in the store’s MAJMC solved-assignment category.
Can I print an MJM solved assignment PDF and submit that?
Printing a PDF gives you a printout, not a handwritten set. The SOJNMS booklet describes handing a written set to the Coordinator of your Study Centre and asks you to write down the final version for submission, writing each answer neatly. It does not, in the files read for this page, print an explicit ban on typed answers the way some other schools’ booklets do, so the honest position is that the booklet describes handwriting rather than forbidding printing. Your Study Centre’s own instruction is the one that governs, and study centres routinely turn printed sets away.
Why does my assignment code say MJM-020/120 when my registration slip says MJM-120?
The six-credit MAJMC theory papers carry two numbers, an 0xx number from the earlier PGJMC-era file and a 1xx number from the six-credit revision, and the booklet prints both joined by a slash. The prospectus and the programme guide print only the 1xx form. The same pair appears on MJM-024/124, MJM-026/126 and MJM-030/130. Write the code the way the booklet you downloaded prints it.
What is the last date to submit an MAJMC assignment?
It depends on which year you are in, which is unusual. The second-year booklet prints 31 March for the June term-end examination and 30 September for December. The first-year booklets for both the 2025 and 2026 cycles print no date at all, only an instruction to check the website. If you are in Year One, take the date from your Regional Centre or the assignment portal rather than from a figure quoted on any commercial site, this one included.
Is the 31 October date I keep seeing online correct for MAJMC?
That pair, 31 October and 30 April, belongs to the School of Management Studies. MAJMC sits with the School of Journalism and New Media Studies, whose second-year file prints 31 March and 30 September. Aggregator sites currently circulate 30 April, 15 September and 31 October for MAJMC, none of which matches what the booklet prints.
Do you write the MJML practicals or the MJMP project?
No. Those components have no Tutor Marked Assignment question paper behind them, so there is nothing for a handwritten set to answer. Their manuals are issued digitally on eGyankosh, and MJMP-120 additionally requires you to arrange a research supervisor. Project report and synopsis work is handled separately in the store’s MAJMC project section.
I am on the Hindi or Tamil medium. Is the rate different?
No. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. The July 2026 Common Prospectus records MAJMC’s medium of instruction as English, Hindi and Tamil, and IGNOU issues the MJM papers accordingly. Say which medium your booklet is in when you send your codes, because the questions differ between editions.
I entered Year Two from PGJMC. Which codes do I order?
Check both sources, because they disagree. IGNOU’s live programme page says lateral-entry learners study only the second-year courses. Section 3.62 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus says PGJMC holders with 32 credits also take MNM-034 Mobile Journalism and MNM-036 Digital Media Literacy, and those with 36 credits take MNM-036, while those with 40 credits go straight in. Order against the code list on your own re-registration record, and any MNM codes on it are handled at the same rate.
How long is one MJM answer supposed to be?
The papers set five questions carrying twenty marks each out of a hundred, with a weightage of 30 per cent. The first-year booklet asks for roughly 500 words per question and the second-year one for roughly 600, so a single code runs to around 2,500 to 3,000 words of handwriting and a full year to six times that.
Can I order a backlog code from an older MAJMC cycle?
Yes. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Send the session exactly as it is printed on the cover of the booklet you hold, because MAJMC files have used both Cycle and Sessions as the wording and the questions change between them.
Will you tell me how many marks the set will get?
No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. What can be described is what arrives: a written set, an IGNOU-format front page and the question paper, in your matched handwriting.
Can I see the handwriting before I pay anything?
Yes, and it is the ordinary sequence rather than a concession. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge, and the sample goes back to you on WhatsApp before an order is confirmed.
When will the set actually reach me?
Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. Send your pin code with your code list and the position for that pin code comes back as part of the quote.
Do I get a PDF of the set as well?
No soft copy or PDF is sold. The order is the physical set, its front page and the printed question paper, couriered to the address you give. If a soft-copy reference is what you want for a MJM code, that is a different product in the store’s MAJMC solved-assignment category.
Where Every Line on This Page Came From
Programme structure, from the prospectus. The course codes, official titles, credits, 80-credit total, year-wise structure, two-year minimum and four-year maximum duration, the January and July sessions, the English, Hindi and Tamil medium, the PG Diploma exit award and the MNM-034 and MNM-036 lateral-entry bridge all come from section 3.62 of the IGNOU Common Prospectus, July 2026. The MJM-025 title discrepancy was found by reading section 3.63 of the same document. Credit totals were summed independently before the table was trusted: 28 plus 12 in Year One and 28 plus 6 plus 6 in Year Two, reaching the stated 80.
Dates, code formats and question patterns, from live booklets. Three SOJNMS assignment files on ignou.ac.in were read for this page: the MJM-020/120 booklet for the January 2026 and July 2026 sessions, the MJM-022 booklet for the January 2025 and July 2025 cycle, and the MJM-029 booklet for the second year of that same cycle. Everything on this page about due dates, assignment-code formats, marks, weightage, word lengths, cover-page applicability and submission instructions is read off those three files. Current files for your own session are at IGNOU’s assignment download service, and the programme’s own page is the MAJMC entry on ignou.ac.in, which is also the source of the lateral-entry statement that conflicts with the prospectus.
Commercial terms, from this publisher. The ₹320 rate, the inclusion of courier, the free front page, the included question paper, the handwriting matching, the absence of a minimum order and the refusal to promise a delivery figure are Shri Chakradhar Publication’s own terms and are not IGNOU policy. Nothing on this page should be read as a university statement.

Programme structures, course codes, submission dates and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment. This matters more than usual on MAJMC, where the first-year booklet prints no date of its own.
You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.
