IGNOU MAJDM Handwritten Assignment: All 16 MNM and MJM Theory Codes, Both Years

Original price was: ₹500.00.Current price is: ₹320.00.

IGNOU MAJDM handwritten assignments, written by hand on A4 and couriered to you, covering all sixteen theory codes of the MA (Journalism and Digital Media): MNM 011, MJM 021, MNM 003, MJM 023, MNM 013, MNM 014, MJM 025 and MNM 037 in Year One, then MNM 030 to MNM 036 and MNM 038 in Year Two. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge.

  • Thirty per cent of the course sits in this file. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent.
  • Forty longhand answers a year. Every MAJDM paper on ignou.ac.in prints five compulsory questions of twenty marks, about five hundred words each, across eight papers per year.
  • Your hand, not a stranger’s. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.
  • Nothing is charged before you approve the sample. The writing sample reaches you on WhatsApp first, so the risk sits before the payment rather than after it.
  • One code or the whole year. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
  • Cover sheet and question paper travel with the set. Both are free, so the enrolment number, assignment code and Study Centre code SOJNMS asks for are already filled in.
  • Hard copy only, deliberately. No soft copy or PDF is sold. What a study centre accepts is ink on paper.
  • Old cycles cost the same. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.

Send your codes, your year and your pin code to WhatsApp +91 93546 37830. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Description

In short. A handwritten assignment is the answer set for IGNOU’s Tutor Marked Assignment questions, written out by hand on A4 and handed in as a hard copy to the Coordinator of the Study Centre allotted to you, and for MAJDM, the 80-credit Master of Arts (Journalism and Digital Media) run year wise over two years by the School of Journalism and New Media Studies with 40 credits in each year, sixteen theory codes carry a question paper (MNM 011, MJM 021, MNM 003, MJM 023, MNM 013, MNM 014, MJM 025 and MNM 037 in the first year, then MNM 030, MNM 031, MNM 032, MNM 033, MNM 034, MNM 035, MNM 036 and MNM 038 in the second) while the eight-credit MNML 012 Digital Journalism Practical and the eight-credit MNMP 012 Internet Research Project carry none and go instead to a viva voce, so Shri Chakradhar Publication prepares that handwritten set one course code at a time. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. Every MAJDM paper read for this page prints one hundred maximum marks, a weightage of 30 per cent, and five compulsory questions of twenty marks apiece at roughly five hundred words each, dated as a month pair rather than a calendar date, which is the single most important thing an MAJDM learner needs to understand about SOJNMS deadlines.

What Lands on Your Doorstep for MAJDM

An MAJDM order is counted in course codes, never in semesters, because the programme is not built in semesters. Section 3.63 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus records MAJDM as a year-wise structure of 40 credits per year over two years, minimum duration two years and maximum four, so two learners who joined in the same July cycle can be sitting on very different code sets depending on whether they are in Year One, in Year Two, or carrying a paper forward from an earlier cycle.

Each code you order arrives as four physical things in one parcel. First, the answer set itself: five answers per code, written in longhand on A4, one code kept separate from the next so nothing has to be untangled at the counter. Second, the IGNOU-format cover sheet, filled with the enrolment number, name, address, assignment code and Study Centre code that the SOJNMS booklet specifically instructs you to write on the first page. Third, a copy of the official question paper for that code, so the questions you submitted against are physically attached to the answers. Fourth, the pages tied or fastened so that a single code stays as a single unit.

There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. A learner clearing only MNM 034 from a previous cycle sends one code and receives one set. A learner starting Year Two sends eight and receives eight, prepared to the same specification.

Inside the ₹320 Figure, and Outside It

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Inside that figure sit the writing itself, the paper, the ink, the IGNOU-format front page, the copy of the question paper, and the courier to your address. There is no packing charge, no handling charge and no second line at checkout.

Outside the figure sits everything that is not writing. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge, which means the matching is not an upgrade you pay for. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. On MAJDM that resolves in practice to the English paper, because section 3.63 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus records the medium of instruction as English and every SOJNMS booklet read for this page is printed in English.

What the ₹320 does not and cannot buy is an outcome. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. Anyone quoting a marks figure alongside a price is quoting something they do not control.

One further thing sits outside the figure for structural reasons rather than commercial ones. MNM 003 Digital Photography and Videography asks, in the paper read for this page, for two photographs to be clicked and their prints attached, with captions. A writing service can write the captions and the theory answers around them. It cannot take your photographs for you. Where a MAJDM question demands your own observation, your own camera or your own three-day tracking of a hashtag, that part stays yours, and this page says so rather than pretending otherwise.

Reference File or Submission Copy: Telling the Two Apart

Two different products get searched for with almost the same words, and the difference matters at the counter. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one session, downloaded and read. A handwritten assignment is the answers written out by hand on A4 and submitted in hard copy at the study centre. The first is preparation. The second is the submission.

The instruction on the paper itself settles the question. The MNM-011 booklet for January 2026 and July 2026 tells the learner to submit the assignments to the Coordinator of the Study Centre, to write the enrolment number, name, address, assignment code and Study Centre code on the first page, and to obtain and retain a Study Centre receipt for the submitted assignments. It further notes that after evaluation the assignments have to be returned to you by the Study Centre. A file on a hard drive cannot be handed over a counter, cannot carry a receipt and cannot be returned. That is the whole distinction, and no downloaded PDF closes it.

One important exception belongs here rather than buried. The same booklet states that PGDIDMOL and MAJDMOL learners submit their assignments through the LMS. If your registration says MAJDMOL rather than MAJDM, you are on the online-mode variant, your route is an upload, and a couriered hard copy is not what your programme is asking of you. Check the letters on your own registration confirmation before ordering anything from anyone.

If a reference file is what you actually want, it is better bought as one. Browse the MAJDM solved-assignment listing arranged by MNM and MJM course code rather than treating this page as a route to one, because this page sells the written submission and nothing else.

The Eight First-Year MNM and MJM Papers

The first year of MAJDM runs to 40 credits and is where the two code prefixes sit side by side. Eight theory courses at four credits each carry a TMA paper, and the eight-credit practical does not. Three of the eight carry the MJM prefix, which belongs to the older journalism family, and five carry MNM. That is not an error and not a dispute: an assignment file prefix and a programme code are simply different things, and MAJDM draws its reporting, broadcast and law papers from the MJM series while the digital-media core sits under MNM.

The credits check out against the stated total: eight theory papers at four credits is 32, the practical adds 8, and the year closes at 40 exactly as the prospectus says. That arithmetic was run rather than assumed, because prospectus tables sitting next to each other sometimes bleed columns into one another.

One structural point deserves attention before you order. Completing this first year of 40 credits earns a PG Diploma in Digital Media, and the PGDIDM course table printed at section 8.26 of the same prospectus is these eight theory codes and this practical, identical, in the same order. That is why the SOJNMS booklet cover for the first year reads for PGDIDM, PGDIDMOL and first-year MAJDM and MAJDMOL together. If you are on the diploma rather than the degree, the paper you download is the same paper, and the PGDIDM shelf on this store mirrors your first year for the same reason. The prospectus also records that lateral entry into MAJDM is available only to holders of a 40-credit diploma.

The Second-Year Set, and the Code That Has No Paper

The second year is where MAJDM stops being tidy. The July 2026 Common Prospectus lists eight theory courses for Year Two: MNM 030 through MNM 036, and then MNM 038 Digital Media Economics. The live second-year assignment booklet lists seven. Its cover names MNM030, MNM031, MNM032, MNM033, MNM034, MNM035 and MNM036, and its opening letter tells the learner to submit one assignment for each of seven theory courses. MNM 038 appears on neither the cover nor inside the file.

The arithmetic still closes at 40: eight theory papers at four credits, plus the eight-credit project. What does not close is the paper count, and the honest position is that a MAJDM learner with MNM 038 on their registration record should ask their Regional Centre what to submit against it before assuming there is nothing to submit. Shri Chakradhar Publication will write MNM 038 the moment a live paper is posted for it, at the same ₹320, and will not invent questions for it in the meantime.

Two codes in this programme never generate a TMA paper at all. MNML 012 Digital Journalism Practical and MNMP 012 Internet Research Project are assessed through submitted work and a viva voce at the study centre rather than through a written assignment, and the prospectus records that the manuals for both are available only in digital form on eGyankosh. A MAJDM learner looking for structure on the project side is better served by a worked MNMP 012 synopsis and dissertation sample in hard copy than by ordering a handwritten assignment that does not exist for those codes.

Eight Places the MAJDM Paperwork Contradicts Itself

Everything below was found by reading IGNOU’s own documents against each other. None of it is a complaint. It is disclosed because a learner who knows about it will not be caught out at the counter, and because a page that hides it is less useful than one that does not.

Conflicts found while building this page, including one on this store.

1. MNM 038 exists in the prospectus and not in the booklet. Digital Media Economics is a four-credit Year Two theory course in the July 2026 Common Prospectus. The live second-year assignment file lists seven codes and does not include it.

2. Seven against eight, in writing. The second-year booklet’s own covering letter instructs the learner to submit one assignment for each of seven theory courses. The prospectus table for the same year lists eight.

3. Two papers in one file carry the previous cycle’s dates. In the second-year file for the January and July 2025 session, MNM 034 Mobile Journalism and MNM 036 Digital Media Literacy print September 2024 and March 2025, while MNM 030, 031, 032, 033 and 035 in the same file print September 2025 and March 2026. The dates on those two match the previous year’s file exactly, which points to template carry-over rather than a genuine earlier deadline.

4. The file claims to give a last date and then does not. The covering letter states that the last date of submission is given for each assignment. What each paper actually prints is a month pair and a bracketed instruction to check the University website for the latest update on the due date. No calendar date appears anywhere in the papers read.

5. Five codes hyphenated, five not, in one document. Inside a single MAJDM first-year file the assignment codes read MNM-011, MJM-021, MJM-023, MNM-013 and MNM-014 with hyphens, and MNM003, MJM025, MNM037, MNM012 and MNM015 without them. The prospectus prints the same codes with a space instead, as MNM 011.

6. One title, two word orders. The prospectus calls MJM 025 Media Laws and Ethics. The booklet heading for the same code reads Media Ethics and Laws.

7. The prospectus mistypes its own programme code. Section 3.63 is headed Master of Arts (Journalism and Digital Media) (MAJDM), and one sentence inside it refers to completing the first year of MADJM. MADJM appears nowhere else in the document.

8. An in-house one. The MAJDM project pages on this store carry an acceptance guarantee and a WhatsApp number different from the one used for assignments. Both are wrong, both are being corrected, and neither applies to this product. The assignment number is +91 93546 37830 and no acceptance claim is made anywhere on this page.

A ninth item is worth a sentence rather than a number. The 2025 first-year file also carries two live papers headed for PGDIDM (Old), MNM012 Digital Journalism and MNM015 Media Research Methods, which appear in no current MAJDM or PGDIDM course table in the July 2026 prospectus. Learners on older registrations still hold those codes, which is presumably why the papers are still posted, and they are written at the same rate as any other.

A Month Pair Instead of a Date: How SOJNMS Prints Deadlines

Most IGNOU schools print a calendar date on the assignment. The School of Management Studies prints 31 October and 30 April. The School of Humanities prints 31 March and 30 September. The School of Journalism and New Media Studies prints neither, and this is the single most misreported fact about MAJDM deadlines online.

Every MAJDM paper read for this page carries a month pair under the course title and then a bracketed line. For the January 2026 and July 2026 session, the pair printed is September 2026 and March 2027. For the January 2025 and July 2025 session it was September 2025 and March 2026. The bracketed line, printed on every paper without exception, asks the learner to check the University website for the latest update on the due date. SOJNMS is telling you, in the document itself, that the month pair is indicative and the operative date lives elsewhere.

Three practical consequences follow. First, do not carry a date across from another school. A figure of 31 October read on an MBA page or 31 March read on an MEG page has no bearing on an MNM code. Second, your operative date is whatever your Regional Centre and study centre have most recently notified, and IGNOU issues university-wide extension notices that override anything a booklet printed. Third, study centres commonly fix their own collection day inside the university window, often a weekend, so the date that actually governs you may be earlier than any figure published anywhere.

What does not change is the weight. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. Eight MAJDM papers in a year means 30 per cent of eight course results resting on a window whose exact edge SOJNMS declines to print. Nothing on this page expires by design, and the only legitimate urgency for an MAJDM learner is the date their own centre has issued.

What MNM031 and MNM-011 Reveal About Code Formats

The assignment code is not decoration. The SOJNMS booklet lists it among the five things that must appear on the first page of every submission, alongside the enrolment number, name, address and Study Centre code. It is also the thing MAJDM learners most often get wrong, because IGNOU itself is inconsistent about it.

Across the papers read for this page, four different forms of the same code appear. The July 2026 prospectus prints it with a space, as MNM 011 and MNM 031. The current first-year booklet prints Assignment Code: MNM-011 with a hyphen. The current second-year booklet prints Assignment Code: MNM031 with nothing between the letters and the digits. And the previous cycle’s papers printed a session suffix that has since vanished, giving Assignment Code: MNM-011/Jan&July25 and MNM030/Jan&July25.

The two current files do not even agree on how to write the session line. The first-year paper prints January 2026 and July 2026 joined by an ampersand. The second-year paper prints the same two sessions separated by a slash. Same school, same coordinator, same cycle.

The practical rule is simple, and IGNOU rather than any publisher sets it: copy the assignment code exactly as it is printed on the paper you downloaded for that course, not as the prospectus writes it and not as another course writes it. When a set is prepared here, the code is transcribed from the question paper for that specific code and session, character for character, including a hyphen if the paper has one and no hyphen if it does not. A further wrinkle sits behind this. The 2026 cycle appears to have split what used to be one combined booklet per year into separate per-code PDFs on ignou.ac.in, which is why two MAJDM papers now sit at two different addresses instead of on two pages of the same file. Download each code separately and check the session on each cover.

Your Own Hand, Copied From a Photo You Send

A set of eight MAJDM papers written in one obviously professional hand and submitted by a learner whose enrolment record shows something else is a problem worth avoiding. The fix is the sample photo, and it costs nothing. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.

The matching covers the things a reader notices without consciously looking for them: the slant, the letter size, the spacing between words, the way a capital is formed, whether the writing sits on the rule or floats above it. It is not a forgery service and it is not sold as one. It is a consistency measure, and it sits before the payment rather than after it, which is where the useful risk protections live.

What Makes a Usable Sample Photo

Half a page of your own continuous writing is enough, and continuous prose works far better than a list. Photograph it flat, in daylight, from directly above rather than at an angle, with the whole sheet inside the frame. Ruled paper is fine and preferable. Do not send a photograph of something you copied out unusually carefully, because the set will then be matched to a hand you do not actually write in, and the point of the exercise is lost. If the photo is unusable you will be told before anything is charged, not after the parcel has gone out.

English Papers, Old Cycles and Backlog Codes

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For MAJDM this resolves to English. Section 3.63 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus records the medium of instruction as English, section 8.26 records the same for PGDIDM, and every SOJNMS paper read for this page is printed in English. Third-party sellers do circulate items described as Hindi-medium MNM and MJM solved assignments; those are their own translations rather than papers IGNOU issued in Hindi, and a MAJDM learner should not assume a Hindi TMA paper exists on the strength of a listing.

Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. This matters more on MAJDM than on a semester programme. Because the degree is year wise and IGNOU allows up to four years to finish two, a learner in their third or fourth year commonly holds a mixed bag: two Year One codes never cleared, five Year Two codes current, and a project still open. Every one of those written papers is the same rate.

One caution on old cycles that applies specifically here. IGNOU replaces the MAJDM question papers each cycle, and the second-year papers read for this page changed substantially between the January and July 2025 file and the January and July 2026 file: the MNM 031 questions are different questions, not reworded ones. An answer set written against a 2025 paper does not answer a 2026 paper. Download the current file for your own session, or send the paper you downloaded, and the set will be written against that and no other.

The Short List an SOJNMS Order Needs

Five things settle an MAJDM order. Nothing else is asked for and nothing else is needed.

  1. The course codes, spelled as your registration confirmation spells them. MNM 034 and MJM 025 are enough; the titles are not needed.
  2. Your year, first or second, because MAJDM is year wise rather than semester wise and the first-year papers are shared with PGDIDM.
  3. The session printed on the cover of the booklet you downloaded, for example January 2026 and July 2026. If you are clearing a backlog against an older paper, say which one.
  4. A photo of half a page in your own handwriting, for the matching described above.
  5. Your delivery pin code, which is what the courier estimate is built from.

Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. Any page quoting a fixed number of working days for every pin code in India is quoting a number it cannot honour, and this store is correcting its own legacy pages that did exactly that.

Send the codes as your registration slip spells them.

One MNM or MJM code costs ₹320, ink on A4, with the courier already accounted for in that figure. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. The sample photo comes back to you before anything is charged.

Send your MNM and MJM codes now

Once the Parcel Is Signed For

The parcel arriving is not the end of the process, and the SOJNMS booklet is explicit about what follows. Read the set before you sign anything. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course.

Then take it to the Coordinator of the Study Centre allotted to you, keeping each code as its own unit rather than binding all eight together. Obtain and retain the Study Centre receipt: the booklet says so in as many words, and it is the only proof you will have if the marks do not surface on the grade card. A photocopy of the submitted set, which the booklet also advises, costs very little and settles arguments months later.

After evaluation the study centre is meant to return the assignments to you, and the booklet asks you to insist on this and keep a record of it. Marks travel from the centre to the Student Evaluation Division at IGNOU, New Delhi, and appear on the grade card, usually well after submission. If your MAJDM assignment status has not moved after a reasonable period, the receipt is the document that reopens the conversation. Nothing on this page can influence what happens at that stage, which is exactly why nothing on this page claims to.

What Else MAJDM Learners Pick Up Here

Assignments are one of four things a MAJDM learner tends to be juggling, and the rest sit elsewhere on this store rather than inside this product. For the term-end paper, which carries the other 70 per cent, learners work through the MAJDM reference books and unit-wise study guides and then test themselves against expected-question sets built for the MNM and MJM examination pattern.

The MJM papers in your first year come from the older mass-communication family, so material written for MAJMC often reads more directly on MJM 021, MJM 023 and MJM 025 than anything written for digital media. MNM 003 is shared with the electronic-media degree, which is why the MAJEM shelf covers the same photography and videography ground. On the project side, alongside the MNMP 012 sample linked above, the PGDIDM project samples in hard copy show what the diploma-level version of the same work looks like.

Learners on other programmes reach the same service through the handwritten assignment hub covering every IGNOU programme, and a code that has no programme page of its own can still be ordered through the open listing that takes any session and any course code. If you would rather write the set yourself, the free step-by-step guide at ignouproject.com covers the format rules, the cover-page fields and the presentation standards without selling you anything.

What Journalism and Digital Media Learners Ask First

Can a printed MAJDM solved assignment PDF be submitted at the study centre?

No. The SOJNMS booklet directs the learner to submit assignments to the Coordinator of the Study Centre, to write the assignment code and Study Centre code on the first page, and to obtain a receipt. IGNOU’s assignment guidance treats typed or printed answers submitted in place of handwritten ones as a rejection-causing error. A downloaded file is a reference to write from, not a submission.

What is the difference between a solved assignment and a handwritten assignment for MNM codes?

A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one MNM or MJM code and one session. A handwritten assignment is those answers written out by hand on A4 and handed in as a hard copy at your study centre. On this store the first is listed per course code and the second is this product at ₹320 per subject. No soft copy or PDF is sold here.

Does IGNOU reject typed assignments for MAJDM?

The SOJNMS papers do not print a separate typing rule, but IGNOU’s general assignment guidance for learners lists submitting typed or printed assignments instead of handwritten ones among the errors that cause rejection, and study centres apply that. The safe reading for an ODL MAJDM learner is longhand on A4. MAJDMOL learners on the online mode upload through the LMS instead, which is a different route entirely.

Which MAJDM codes actually carry a TMA question paper?

Sixteen theory codes: MNM 011, MJM 021, MNM 003, MJM 023, MNM 013, MNM 014, MJM 025 and MNM 037 in Year One, and MNM 030 to MNM 036 plus MNM 038 in Year Two. The eight-credit MNML 012 practical and the eight-credit MNMP 012 project carry no TMA paper and are assessed through submitted work and a viva voce at the study centre.

Is there a question paper for MNM 038 Digital Media Economics?

Not on the booklets read for this page. MNM 038 is listed as a four-credit Year Two theory course in the July 2026 Common Prospectus, but the live second-year assignment file names seven codes on its cover and its covering letter instructs the learner to submit one assignment for each of seven theory courses. If MNM 038 is on your registration record, ask your Regional Centre what to submit against it before assuming there is nothing.

What is the last date for MAJDM assignment submission?

SOJNMS does not print one. Each MAJDM paper prints a month pair, September 2026 and March 2027 for the January and July 2026 session, followed by a bracketed instruction to check the University website for the latest update on the due date. The operative date is whatever your Regional Centre and study centre have most recently notified, and centres often fix a collection day earlier than the university window. Do not carry a date across from another school.

Why do two papers in the same MAJDM booklet print September 2024?

In the second-year file for the January and July 2025 session, MNM 034 Mobile Journalism and MNM 036 Digital Media Literacy print September 2024 and March 2025 while the other five papers in the same file print September 2025 and March 2026. Those two dates match the previous year’s file exactly, which points to template carry-over when the file was updated rather than a genuinely earlier deadline. Treat the later pair as indicative and confirm with your centre.

Should the assignment code be written as MNM-031 or MNM031?

Whichever your own downloaded paper prints. The current second-year paper prints MNM031 with no hyphen; the current first-year paper prints MNM-011 with one; the prospectus prints both with a space. The previous cycle added a session suffix, as in MNM-011/Jan&July25, which the current papers have dropped. Copy the code exactly as printed on the paper for your code and session.

Do MNML 012 and MNMP 012 need a handwritten assignment?

No. Both are eight-credit components assessed through submitted work and a viva voce rather than a TMA answer set, and the prospectus records that their manuals are available only in digital form on eGyankosh. Ordering a handwritten assignment for either code would mean paying for something that does not exist, so it is not sold here.

Is MAJDM available in Hindi medium?

Section 3.63 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus records the MAJDM medium of instruction as English, and every SOJNMS paper read for this page is in English. Some third-party sellers list Hindi-medium MJM and MNM solved assignments; those are their own translations rather than papers IGNOU has issued in Hindi. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, which on MAJDM currently means the English paper.

Can MAJDMOL learners use a couriered hard copy?

Probably not, and it is worth checking before ordering. The SOJNMS booklet states that PGDIDMOL and MAJDMOL learners submit their assignments through the LMS. If your registration confirmation reads MAJDMOL, your route is an upload rather than a counter submission. Read the exact letters on your own record; the difference between MAJDM and MAJDMOL changes what you need.

What happens to MNM 003 questions that ask for photographs?

They stay with you. The MNM 003 paper read for this page asks the learner to click two photographs showing the richness of Indian culture, write captions and attach colour or black-and-white prints. The written answers and the captions can be prepared; the photographs cannot be taken on your behalf. The same applies to questions elsewhere in the programme that ask you to observe your own neighbourhood or track a hashtag over three days.

Can a PGDIDM learner order the same first-year set?

Yes, and it is the identical paper. The PGDIDM table at section 8.26 of the July 2026 prospectus is the same eight theory codes and the same practical as MAJDM Year One, and the SOJNMS booklet cover names PGDIDM, PGDIDMOL, MAJDM and MAJDMOL together. Completing the 40-credit first year of MAJDM is what earns the PGDIDM award in the first place.

Does a backlog MAJDM code cost more than a current one?

No. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. What matters is sending the correct paper: the MAJDM questions change between cycles rather than being reworded, so a set written against a 2025 MNM 031 paper does not answer the 2026 one. Send the paper you downloaded, or name the session on its cover.

How long does one MAJDM paper run to?

The booklets prescribe a word limit rather than a page count: five questions of twenty marks each at roughly five hundred words per question, so about two thousand five hundred words per code. MNM 003 varies from this, printing six hundred words on some questions and two hundred words each on a set of short notes. The page count that produces follows from your own handwriting size, which is one more reason the sample photo matters.

Where does the finished MAJDM set get submitted?

To the Coordinator of the Study Centre allotted to you at admission, in hard copy, one code kept separate from the next. Write the enrolment number, name, address, assignment code and Study Centre code on the first page, obtain and retain the receipt, and keep a photocopy. The booklet also says the study centre should return the evaluated assignments to you, and asks you to insist on that.

Which Document Each Line on This Page Came From

Three separate sources sit behind this page and they are kept separate deliberately, because a page that blends a prospectus table, a live question paper and a publisher’s own commercial terms into one undifferentiated voice is harder to check.

From the IGNOU Common Prospectus, July 2026. The programme name, the MAJDM code, the School of Journalism and New Media Studies as the owning school, the 80-credit total, the year-wise structure of 40 credits each year, the two-year minimum and four-year maximum duration, the count of sixteen theory courses plus one practical and one project, every course code and official title in both tables, every credit value, the English medium of instruction, the bachelor’s degree eligibility, the January and July admission cycles, the lateral entry restriction to 40-credit diploma holders, the PGDIDM exit award after the first year, and the identical PGDIDM table at section 8.26. The credit arithmetic was summed independently and closes at 40 and 40 against the stated total of 80.

From live SOJNMS assignment booklets on ignou.ac.in. Three files were opened and read against each other: the current first-year paper for MNM-011, the current second-year paper for MNM-031, and the previous cycle’s combined first-year and second-year files. From those come the month pairs and the bracketed due-date instruction, the maximum marks of 100 and the weightage of 30 per cent, the five-question pattern at twenty marks each, the roughly five-hundred-word instruction and the MNM 003 exceptions, the four assignment-code formats, the cover-page lists of programmes each file applies to, the LMS route for MAJDMOL and PGDIDMOL, the five details required on the first page, the receipt and return instructions, the seven-against-eight discrepancy, the two carried-over dates, and the MNM012 and MNM015 papers marked for PGDIDM (Old). The current papers can be opened directly at the MNM-011 file and the MNM-031 file, and the full portal sits at the IGNOU assignment download service.
