IGNOU MAGD Handwritten Assignment: Every MGS and MGSE Code, Both Mediums, Any Session

Original price was: ₹500.00.Current price is: ₹320.00.

MAGD is the 72-credit Master of Arts (Gender and Development Studies) that IGNOU’s School of Gender and Development Studies runs year wise, and fifteen of its taught codes carry a Tutor Marked Assignment: five MGS papers in the first year and ten MGSE electives in the second, of which you register eight. Shri Chakradhar Publication writes that answer set out by hand, one course code at a time. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge.

  • Thirteen papers, not one bundle. Each MGS and MGSE code carries its own 100-mark paper. Order only the codes on your record.
  • Thirty per cent is settled before the exam hall. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent, and the MAGD booklet adds a 40 per cent floor on the assignment itself.
  • Both mediums, one price. IGNOU posts MAGD papers in English and in Hindi. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price.
  • A missed cycle is ordinary work. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.
  • Your handwriting, not a stranger’s. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge, and that sample reaches you before any payment.
  • One code or the whole elective block. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. MGSP 1 and MGSP 2 sit outside it, because IGNOU issues no paper against either.
  • Hard copy, posted, nothing to print. No soft copy or PDF is sold. The packet holds the written answers, an IGNOU-format cover sheet and a copy of the official MAGD paper. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay.

Send your MGS and MGSE codes on WhatsApp for a MAGD quote, with your session and pin code.

Description

In short. A handwritten assignment is the answer set for IGNOU’s Tutor Marked Assignment questions, written out by hand and handed in as a hard copy, and for MAGD, the 72-credit Master of Arts (Gender and Development Studies) that the School of Gender and Development Studies runs year wise over two years in English and in Hindi, fifteen taught codes carry a question paper: MGS-001 to MGS-005 in the first year and the ten MGSE electives of the second year, of which a learner registers eight, while the four-credit MGSP 1 and MGSP 2 internship components carry none at all. Shri Chakradhar Publication prepares that set one course code at a time. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent, and the MAGD booklet adds that at least 40 per cent has to be scored in the assignment before the course can be completed. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.

What Reaches Your Address When a MAGD Order Ships

Four physical things travel in one parcel, and none of them arrives as a download. The first is the answer set itself, written by hand on loose sheets, one course code per bundle, with the question number written beside each answer exactly as instruction 5 on the MAGD booklet asks. The second is an IGNOU-format cover sheet for every code, prepared free, carrying the blank fields the MAGD booklet prints on its own third page: course title, enrolment number, assignment number, name, study centre, address and date. The third is a copy of the official MAGD question paper the answers were written against, so an evaluator or a study-centre clerk can match the two without opening a laptop. The fourth is nothing more exciting than the packing, which exists because the set has to survive a courier network.

No soft copy or PDF is sold. That is a scope statement rather than a policy flourish: a scanned file and a written bundle are two different products, and this page sells only the second. Where a MAGD learner needs a reference file to write from instead, the store keeps that on a separate shelf, and the section below explains which one solves which problem.

The bundling matters more on MAGD than on a semester programme, because MAGD is registered year wise. A second-year learner is holding eight elective codes at once, each with its own 100-mark paper, its own Part A of four short answers and its own Part B of two long essays. Eight loose piles handed across a counter is how sets go missing. Each code arrives separately pinned, in the order you listed them.

The ₹320 Line: Included, Excluded, Never Promised

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. A first-year MGS paper and a second-year MGSE elective cost the same. An English paper and a Hindi paper cost the same. A 2021-22 backlog code and the newest file on the MAGD index cost the same. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.

Inside the figure sit the writing, the cover sheet, the question-paper copy and the courier. Outside it sits everything IGNOU charges you directly, which this publisher neither collects nor influences: the ₹7,500 per year programme fee the July 2026 Common Prospectus records for MAGD, the term-end examination fee, and any re-registration payment. Also outside it sits the one thing no study-support publisher can honestly sell. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.

Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. A working-days number printed next to a price is a promise about a courier network that neither this publisher nor you control, and MAGD learners in particular tend to order close to a cut-off, which is exactly when an invented number does the most damage.

A Reference File or a Submission: Sorting the Two Apart

These are the two most-confused products in the whole IGNOU study-support market, and the confusion costs money, so here is the distinction in one line each. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for a course code and a session, downloaded and read. A handwritten assignment is the answers written out by hand on paper and submitted in hard copy at the study centre. One is something you learn from. The other is the thing you hand in.

Scroll the table sideways on a narrow screen; the handwritten column sits on the right.

IGNOU’s own instruction on the MAGD paper settles the format question without anyone needing to argue about it. Instruction 6 on the MAGD booklet reads that it would be best if you wrote in your handwriting, and instruction 7 on the 2021-22 file goes further, asking for completed handwritten scanned copies to be emailed to the school. Even the online route the School of Gender and Development Studies offered assumed the pages were written by hand first, then scanned. A printed reference file is not a shorter road to the same place.

If a reference file is genuinely what you came for, take it from the shelf that actually stocks it rather than from here: the MAGD solved-assignment collection arranged course code by course code carries the MGS and MGSE files. This page does not sell one and does not pretend to.

Every MGS Code in the MAGD First Year

Section 3.51 of the Common Prospectus July 2026 sets the first year at thirty-six credits across six entries, five of which carry a Tutor Marked Assignment. The credits sum independently to 36, and the second year sums to 36 as well, which is how the printed total of 72 was checked rather than trusted. The prospectus prints these codes unpadded, as MGS 1 to MGS 5; every booklet on IGNOU’s MAGD index prints them padded, as MGS-001 to MGS-005. Both columns appear below because your registration record may use either.

First-year total365 papers

Five columns, so drag the table left on a phone to reach the TMA column.

MGSP 1 is the entry that trips up first-year buyers. It is worth four credits and it is compulsory, but it is an internship or field-based research project, and IGNOU issues no Tutor Marked Assignment against it. Nothing on this page covers it. The store keeps the MAGD project work in its own hard-copy section, and the companion editorial site sets out the MGSP 1 and MGSP 2 requirements in full.

One more first-year detail is worth knowing before you re-register. Section 3.51 records that a learner who completes the first-year courses, meaning MGS 1 to MGS 5 together with MGSP 1, may exit with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Gender and Development Studies. That exit award is named in the MAGD section and appears nowhere else in the entire prospectus: it has no programme code and no section of its own, and the only gender postgraduate diploma with a section of its own is PGDWGS in Women’s and Gender Studies, which is a different programme built on MWG codes.

The Ten MGSE Electives, of Which You Register Eight

The second year is where MAGD stops resembling other master’s programmes. It carries one compulsory four-credit component, MGSP 2, and then thirty-two credits of electives drawn from a pool of ten. Every elective is worth exactly four credits, so the arithmetic never varies: eight of the ten, thirty-two credits, done. The two you leave out are the two you never see a paper for.

Second-year totalEight electives at 4 credits each, plus MGSP 236

The titles are long; slide the table across to read the credits column.

Two things about that numbering deserve a sentence each. The elective codes are not consecutive: the pool runs 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 13 and 20, and no MGSE 5, 8, 11, 12 or anything between 14 and 19 appears in the prospectus table or in any booklet on the MAGD index. A learner who assumes a missing number is simply a paper nobody uploaded will search for a file that does not exist.

The second point is that MGSE codes are not exclusively yours. The same prospectus lists MGSE 1, MGSE 7 and MGSE 10 as multidisciplinary open electives inside MA Sociology, MGSE 009 as a course inside MA Economics, MGSE 010 inside MA Development Journalism, and both MGSE 009 and MGSE 004 as compulsory second-year courses inside MA Environmental and Occupational Health. A learner registered on any of those programmes is writing the same MGSE paper from the same booklet as a MAGD learner. That is why the MAEC economics book shelf and the MADJ development journalism shelf both carry MGSE titles, and it is not a filing error.

There is also a SOGDS code that behaves the other way round. MGS 109, titled Gender, Entrepreneurship and Financial Inclusion, appears in section 3.24 as a multidisciplinary choice inside MA Anthropology, and it appears in no MAGD course table anywhere in the prospectus. If your record shows MGS 109, you are not on MAGD.

Five Disagreements on the Record, One of Them Ours

These were found by reading the July 2026 Common Prospectus against four live files on IGNOU’s MAGD assignment index. They are reported because a learner who meets one of them mid-order loses days, and because the honest position on a commercial page is to name the mess rather than tidy it away.

Disagreements found in IGNOU’s own MAGD documents, and one group of errors on this website.

1. The English and Hindi files for the same 2024-25 session name different learners. The English first-year cover reads that it is for students who took admission in January 2024 or prior. The Hindi file covering both years states on its cover that it is for students admitted in the July 2024 and January 2025 sessions. Two files, one session, two opposite audiences. The English file adds separately that the assignment is valid for two admission cycles, July 2024 and January 2025, which contradicts its own cover line.

2. Four different submission dates are live for one session. The English 2024-25 first-year file gives 31 October 2024 for the December 2024 term-end examination and 30 April 2025 for the June 2025 examination. The Hindi file for the same 2024-25 session gives 16 February 2025 for the July 2024 session and 16 August 2025 for the January session, and prints that second session year as 2024 rather than 2025. The 16 February and 16 August pair is not a typing slip either: the MAGD 2021-22 file uses the same pattern, giving 16 February 2022 and 16 August 2022.

3. Two booklets carry a five-year-old session string in the assignment code. In the 2024-25 second-year English file, every paper is coded for 2024-25 except MGSE-010, which is printed as MGSE-010/AST-01/TMA/2019-20. In the 2021-22 file the same stale string sits on a different course, MGSE-004/AST-01/TMA/2019-20. In the same 2024-25 file, MGSE-002 alone is coded /2024-2025 with a four-digit second year while every other paper uses /2024-25.

4. Three course titles are printed two ways. MGS 5 is Research Methodologies in the prospectus and Research Methodology on every booklet. MGSE 6 is Gender, Resources and Entitlements in the prospectus and Gender Issues in Resources and Entitlements on the booklets. MGSE 2 is Gender Audit and Gender Budgeting in the prospectus and in the booklet’s own contents list, but the paper heading three pages later drops a word and reads Gender Audit and Budgeting. The school itself is printed as School of Gender & Development Studies in section 3.51 and as School of Gender and Development Studies in the same prospectus and on every booklet cover.

5. Errors on this website, queued for correction. Other handwritten product pages on shrichakradhar.com still carry a marks assurance, a no-rejection claim, a fixed working-days delivery window and a ₹350 rate, none of which this page repeats and all of which are wrong. The store’s handwritten category page states that assignments must be written on A4 sheets; instruction 4 of the MAGD 2021-22 booklet asks for foolscap size paper instead. Two founding years, 2010 and 2012, appear in a single byline block on that same page.

One further gap is worth flagging rather than hiding. As of this page’s publication date, the newest booklet listed on IGNOU’s own MAGD assignment index is the 2024-25 set. No 2025-26 or 2026-27 MAGD file is posted there, although a file named MGS-001(2025-26).pdf exists in the school’s separate folder and opens with no readable text. If your MAGD paper for the current cycle has not appeared yet, that is the reason, and it is IGNOU’s to fix.

Which Cut-Off Applies: 31 October, 30 April, 16 February or 16 August

Every one of those four dates is printed on a real MAGD file. They are not alternatives to choose between; they belong to different files and different framings, and the only safe answer is the one on the cover of the paper you actually downloaded.

The 2024-25 English first-year booklet frames its dates by examination rather than by session. It asks for submission by 31 October 2024 if you intend to appear in the December 2024 term-end examination, and by 30 April 2025 if you intend to appear in June 2025. That is the pattern most aggregator sites circulate for MAGD, and on this file it is correct.

The Hindi file for the same session frames its dates by admission session instead, giving 16 February 2025 against the July 2024 session and 16 August 2025 against the January session. The 2021-22 MAGD booklet uses the identical 16 February and 16 August pattern. So a MAGD learner reading the Hindi paper and a MAGD learner reading the English paper for the same year are working to cut-offs three and a half months apart.

The practical instruction is short. Read the date off the cover page of your own file, in your own medium, and treat any date quoted on a study-help website, including the ones repeated on this page for illustration, as secondary to it. Your Regional Centre issues extensions independently of anything printed in a booklet, and IGNOU has extended assignment deadlines in several recent cycles.

The weightage behind the date does not move. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. The MAGD booklet adds a floor that many learners miss: at least 40 per cent has to be secured in the assignment for the course to be completed successfully, and the assignment has to be submitted before the term-end examination is attempted.

Decoding MGS-001/AST-01/TMA/2024-25

MAGD prints a four-part assignment code, and it is worth reading before you send anything, because three of the four parts change and one does not. Take the first-year example above. MGS-001 is the course code, padded to three digits on the booklet even where your record shows MGS 1. AST-01 is the assignment serial, which stays at 01 across the whole MAGD set, first year and second, because each MAGD course carries exactly one Tutor Marked Assignment rather than a series. TMA names the assignment type. 2024-25 is the session span, printed as two years because a MAGD file serves two admission cycles.

That AST segment is what distinguishes a MAGD code from most of the university. A School of Management Studies paper is coded in the shape MMPC-001/TMA/JULY/2026, naming a single year and a session name and carrying no AST part at all. A School of Humanities paper is coded MEG-08/TMA/2026-27. MAGD sits in a third pattern. If a supplier quotes you an MAGD price against a code shaped like a management paper, they are not looking at your booklet.

The Hindi paper carries the same structure transliterated, so the MGS-001 code appears in Devanagari as एमजीएस-001/एएसटी-01/टीएमए/2024-25 with the session digits unchanged. The digits are the part to copy when you message.

The question pattern behind the code is uniform across all fifteen MAGD papers. Every one is worth 100 marks at 30 per cent weightage. Part A asks four questions of 10 marks each in about 200 words. Part B asks you to answer any two of the questions listed in about 1000 words each, at 30 marks apiece. The list in Part B is normally three questions; MGS-005 is the exception, offering four to choose two from in both the 2021-22 and 2024-25 files.

Your Own Hand, Rebuilt From One Photograph

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. This exists because a MAGD second-year learner is submitting eight bundles at one counter, and eight bundles in a hand that looks nothing like the declaration signature on the cover sheet is a conversation nobody wants at a study centre.

The sequence puts the risk on this side of the transaction. The sample photograph comes back to you before any payment is discussed, you look at it against your own writing, and only then does the order start. If the match does not convince you, there is nothing to unwind.

What the Sample Page Should Show

Half a page of ordinary running writing is enough, in the pen you normally use, photographed flat in daylight rather than scanned. Include a line or two of the technical vocabulary MAGD runs on, because gender budgeting, matrilineal inheritance and socio-economic gender analysis are the phrases that appear repeatedly across the MGSE papers and are the ones most likely to look wrong in an imitated hand. If you write your MGSE answers in Hindi, send the Hindi sample, not an English one.

English Paper, Hindi Paper, and Cycles You Have Already Missed

Section 3.51 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus records the MAGD medium of instruction as English and Hindi, and IGNOU acts on it: the MAGD index posts an English file and a separate Hindi file for the same session, with the Hindi version covering both years in a single document. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. On MAGD that resolves to two real options rather than a formality, which is unusual among the master’s programmes on this store.

Choose the medium your registration is in, not the medium you read faster in. The Hindi MGS-005 paper is a good example of why: its contents list and its own paper heading give the course two slightly different Hindi titles, and matching the file you were issued avoids arguing about which one your evaluator expects.

On old cycles the position is simple. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. MAGD generates more backlog work than most programmes precisely because of its structure: a learner who re-registers late carries second-year MGSE electives forward, and because the electives are chosen rather than fixed, two learners in the same intake can owe entirely different code sets. Send the codes as your record spells them and the session printed on the cover of the file you downloaded.

The Five Things to Put in the First Message

A MAGD quote needs five pieces of information and no more. Sending them in one message removes an entire round of back and forth.

  1. The course codes, written as your registration or re-registration confirmation spells them, whether that is MGS 3 or MGS-003.
  2. The year you are in, first or second, because it determines whether the MGS file or the MGSE file applies.
  3. The session printed on the cover of the file you downloaded, for instance 2024-25, and whether the cover names a July or a January cycle.
  4. The medium, English or Hindi, matching your registration.
  5. Your delivery pin code.

Nothing else is needed at the quote stage. Enrolment number, study centre and name are asked for later, once an order actually starts, because they belong on the cover sheet rather than in a price enquiry.

Eight electives or one backlog code, the arithmetic is the same.

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Ask what your MGSE elective block would cost

Once the Parcel Is in Your Hands

Open it and read it before you go anywhere near a counter. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. On MAGD that review is not a formality: several MGSE questions ask for local case studies, including ten women entrepreneurs from your own locality on MGSE-010 and two local government budgets on MGSE-002, and an answer that names a place you have never been is an answer worth adjusting.

Then fill the cover sheet fields that only you can fill: enrolment number, name, address, study centre and date. The MAGD booklet asks for the roll number, name, complete address and date at the top right of the first response sheet, and for the course title, assignment number and study centre name in the centre of that first page. It also records the study centre code for the school as SOGDS.

Submit by the route your own booklet names. The 2024-25 English file asks for submission to the respective regional centre or the coordinator of your study centre, and tells you to obtain an email response or a receipt and keep it. The 2021-22 file instead gives an email address at the school for completed handwritten scanned copies. Both routes are IGNOU’s; neither is this publisher’s to choose for you. Keep the acknowledgement either way, because it is the only thing that settles a dispute if a status update goes missing.

The Shelves MAGD Buyers Open Next

Most MAGD orders are part of a wider year. The store’s handwritten assignment hub covering every IGNOU programme is the right starting point if you are also buying for a family member on a different course, and the any-programme customised handwritten order exists for code sets that cross programmes.

For MAGD specifically, the gender and development study guides for the MGS and MGSE blocks are what learners pair with a first-year order, and the MAGD expected-question sets for the term-end paper are for the seventy per cent this product does not touch.

Learners on the neighbouring School of Gender and Development Studies programmes usually arrive here by mistake, so it is worth pointing them onward. The MAWGS women’s and gender studies reference files serve the MWG code family, and the PGDWGS diploma project section serves the postgraduate diploma that MAGD is often confused with. Undergraduate learners looking for the gender papers inside the BA programme want the BAG gender and development course shelf instead, and the DWED women’s empowerment diploma guides cover the school’s diploma-level offering.

If you would rather write the MAGD answers yourself and only need the process explained, the companion editorial site carries the long-form guidance, including a full walkthrough of what MGSP 1 and MGSP 2 require of a MAGD learner. That article sells nothing.

What Gender and Development Studies Learners Ask First

How much does an IGNOU MAGD handwritten assignment cost per subject?

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. A first-year MGS paper and a second-year MGSE elective are the same price, and so is a Hindi paper, and a single code is quoted the same way as a block of eight.

How many MAGD assignments do I actually have to submit?

Thirteen across the degree, if you complete it in the standard shape. Five in the first year, one for each of MGS 1 to MGS 5, and eight in the second, one for each elective you register from the pool of ten. MGSP 1 and MGSP 2 carry no Tutor Marked Assignment, so they add nothing to that count.

What is the last date for MAGD assignment submission?

Read it off your own file, because MAGD prints two different patterns. The 2024-25 English first-year booklet gives 31 October for the December term-end examination and 30 April for the June examination. The Hindi file for the same session gives 16 February for the July session and 16 August for the January session, and the 2021-22 booklet uses that same pattern. Your Regional Centre can extend either.

Can I print a MAGD solved assignment PDF and submit that instead?

No. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers to read and write from; a submission is the answers written out by hand. Instruction 6 on the MAGD booklet asks that you write in your handwriting, and the school’s own online route asked for handwritten pages that had been scanned, not typed ones.

What is the difference between the MAGD solved assignment and this handwritten product?

The solved assignment is a file you learn from and it lives on a separate shelf of this store, arranged by MGS and MGSE course code. This product is the physical answer set you hand in, written by hand, with a cover sheet and the official paper included. Buying one does not replace the other, and this page does not sell a solved assignment.

Why does my MGSE code look different on the prospectus and on the paper?

Because IGNOU prints it two ways. The MAGD table in the Common Prospectus uses unpadded numbers such as MGSE 4, while every booklet on the MAGD assignment index pads to three digits as MGSE-004. Other prospectus tables, including MA Economics and MA Development Journalism, use the padded form too. They are the same course.

Is MGSE-010 still valid if the paper is coded 2019-20?

Yes, that string is IGNOU’s own carry-over rather than an old paper. In the 2024-25 second-year English booklet every code reads 2024-25 except MGSE-010, which is printed as MGSE-010/AST-01/TMA/2019-20 while carrying the current questions. The same slip sits on MGSE-004 in the 2021-22 file. Send the questions you downloaded and the set is written against them.

Do you write the MAGD Hindi paper as well as the English one?

Yes. IGNOU posts a separate Hindi file covering both MAGD years, and the service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. Send a Hindi handwriting sample if your answers are going in Hindi, because the match is built from what you send.

Can I order a MAGD elective I was supposed to submit two years ago?

Yes. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. Give the session printed on the cover of the file you were issued, because an MGSE elective from 2021-22 carries different questions from the 2024-25 version of the same code.

Why is there no 2026-27 MAGD assignment file on the IGNOU website?

IGNOU has not posted one to the MAGD programme index at the time of writing; the newest listed set there is 2024-25. A single file named for MGS-001 and the 2025-26 session sits in the school’s separate folder and opens with no readable text. Until a new set appears, the current file is what a study centre will expect against your codes.

Does MGSP 1 or MGSP 2 come with this order?

No. Both are internship or field-based research components worth four credits each, and IGNOU issues no Tutor Marked Assignment against either, so there is nothing here to write. They are handled as project work and sit in a different section of this store.

Should my MAGD answers be on A4 or foolscap paper?

The MAGD 2021-22 booklet’s fourth instruction asks for foolscap size paper specifically, which differs from the A4 guidance published generally for IGNOU assignments and repeated on this store’s own category page. Where your booklet is specific, follow your booklet, and ask your study centre if the two seem to conflict for your session.

How many marks does one MAGD assignment carry?

One hundred, at 30 per cent weightage, on every one of the fifteen MAGD papers. Part A holds four questions of 10 marks in about 200 words each, and Part B asks for any two long answers of about 1000 words at 30 marks each. The MAGD booklet also requires at least 40 per cent in the assignment for the course to be completed.

Will this guarantee my MAGD assignment is accepted?

No, and no honest supplier can offer that. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. What is within this publisher’s control is the writing, the format, the cover sheet and the courier.

I want to exit MAGD after the first year. Does that change what I order?

Not for the assignments themselves. The prospectus records that completing MGS 1 to MGS 5 together with MGSP 1 allows an exit with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Gender and Development Studies, so the five first-year papers are still the five you submit. Confirm the exit route with your Regional Centre, since that award carries no programme code of its own anywhere in the prospectus.

Where Each Line on This Page Came From

Programme structure, codes, titles and credits. Section 3.51 of the IGNOU Common Prospectus, July 2026 edition, together with the programme table on the same page and the fee schedule entry at row 35. The cross-programme MGSE appearances were read from sections 3.20, 3.21, 3.40 and 3.65, and the MGS 109 entry from section 3.24. The 36 and 36 credit sub-totals were summed independently before the printed total of 72 was accepted.

Submission dates, assignment codes, question pattern and instructions. Four live files on IGNOU’s MAGD assignment index at webservices.ignou.ac.in: the 2024-25 first-year English booklet, the 2024-25 second-year English booklet, the 2024-25 combined Hindi booklet and the 2021-22 combined English booklet. Nothing on dates or code format was carried across from another IGNOU school. The MAGD assignment index on ignou.ac.in is the page to check for a newer set.

Commercial terms. Price, format, courier, medium coverage, session coverage, handwriting matching and the absence of a minimum order are Shri Chakradhar Publication’s own terms, not IGNOU’s, and are stated by this publisher alone. No delivery figure, marks figure or acceptance outcome is asserted anywhere on this page.

Next review is tied to the MAGD cut-offs, so this page is re-checked when a 2026-27 MAGD file appears on the index and again ahead of the next 30 April and 16 August dates.

This is not the official website of Indira Gandhi National Open University, is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by the university, and no page on this site should be treated as an official IGNOU communication.

Programme structures, course codes, submission dates and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment.

You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course.

Send Your MGS and MGSE Codes

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.

Two routes, both ending in the same place: start a MAGD order with your code list, or if you would rather see the writing first, request a handwriting sample before anything is paid.

Holding an old elective instead? Check a backlog MGSE code and it is quoted the same way as a current one.
