IGNOU MAEG Handwritten Assignment — MEG-05 Plus the Nine Codes You Actually Submit

Original price was: ₹500.00.Current price is: ₹320.00.

Shri Chakradhar Publication prepares IGNOU MAEG handwritten assignment sets for any MEG code from MEG-01 to MEG-19, couriered as a hard copy. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge.

  • Ten papers decide an 80-credit degree. MA English is ten courses of eight credits, each carrying one Tutor Marked Assignment worth 100 marks. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent, so one unwritten MEG paper forfeits nearly a third of that course.
  • Ordered by code, not by year. First year is MEG-05 plus any four of eight; second year is any five of ten, so two learners admitted the same month rarely hold the same set. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
  • Written on foolscap, because the booklet says foolscap. Every live MEG paper instructs learners to use only foolscap size paper and tag the pages — not the A4 instruction repeated on general assignment pages.
  • Your handwriting, at no extra cost. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.
  • Backlog MEG codes are ordinary work. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.
  • Both cut-off systems checked first. MEG booklets print two different date pairs, one keyed to the examination and one to the session you enrolled in. Your codes are read against the booklet that governs them.
  • Paper reaches you, never a file. No soft copy or PDF is sold. A free IGNOU-format front page and a copy of the official question paper travel with the set.
  • No delivery figure invented. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Send your MEG codes, medium and pin code: WhatsApp +91 93546 37830 for a MAEG quote at ₹320 a subject.

Description

In short. MAEG is IGNOU’s two-year Master of Arts in English from the School of Humanities, an 80-credit degree in which every course is worth eight credits and a learner completes ten of the nineteen MEG papers that exist — MEG-05 plus any four in the first year, any five in the second — and Shri Chakradhar Publication writes the Tutor Marked Assignment for whichever of those codes sits on your admission record, by hand, on foolscap, as a hard copy. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. On an eight-credit MEG paper that is the largest single block of marks a learner can secure at home, with the study material open. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject, and the live MEG booklets currently print two different cut-off systems — 30 April and 31 October keyed to the examination on the newest 2026-27 paper, 31 March and 30 September keyed to the session you enrolled in on the 2025-26 papers — so each code you send is read against the booklet that actually governs it before a page is written. Send your MEG codes, medium and pin code on WhatsApp at +91 93546 37830 for a quote.

Inside the Envelope That Reaches Your Door

A MAEG order arrives as paper, bundled one course code at a time. Four things sit inside the envelope for every code you ordered, and nothing arrives by email.

  • The handwritten answer set. The full response to your MEG paper, written out by hand on foolscap sheets and tagged through, with the question number written against each answer exactly as the booklet numbers it.
  • An IGNOU-format front page, free with every order. It arrives filled with your enrolment number, programme, course code, assignment code and session, leaving your name, signature and study-centre code for you to complete on the day you submit.
  • A copy of the official question paper. The MEG paper the answers were written against travels with the set, so the counter clerk and the evaluator can see which session the work belongs to without hunting for it.
  • Separate bundles for separate codes. A learner submitting MEG-05, MEG-07 and MEG-12 in one visit hands over three tagged bundles, because the Study Centre records three separate scores against three separate codes.

No soft copy or PDF is sold. If your Regional Centre asks you to upload instead of hand over, you scan the delivered pages yourself, which leaves the original set in your hands where it belongs.

Where the ₹320 Stops, Stated Plainly

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. That figure covers one MEG course code from cover page to courier. What follows is the rest of the boundary, including the parts a sales page usually leaves out.

  • One rate across all nineteen codes. A handwritten MEG-04 on language and a handwritten MEG-19 on the Australian novel cost the same. No paper carries a surcharge for being longer, denser or second-year.
  • Ordered code by code. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. Because MAEG electives diverge so widely, the unit of ordering is the course code printed on your registration record, never a year or a package.
  • Medium is not a price variable. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. MAEG is printed in English, and the online-mode variant carries its own booklet series; whichever paper the university issues for your enrolment is written at that one rate.
  • Older cycles cost the same as this one. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. A MEG-02 left unwritten while you moved on to second-year codes is written against its own paper, not against the newest one.
  • Handwriting matching is included, not an upgrade. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.
  • No claim on the outcome. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.
  • No number invented for the courier. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
  • The reading stays yours. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course.

A Reference File and a Submittable Set Are Not the Same Object

Two very different products get called the same thing in MAEG search results, and buying the wrong one costs a learner a fortnight. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one session, downloaded and read. A handwritten assignment is those answers written out by hand and handed in as a hard copy at your Study Centre. One is reading material; the other is the thing the counter accepts.

IGNOU settles the question on the paper itself. Every live MEG booklet tells the learner to use only foolscap size paper and tag all the pages carefully, and every one of them adds that you should write in your own handwriting. A downloaded file satisfies neither instruction until somebody copies it out. That is the whole distinction, and it is why this page does not sell a solved assignment and does not pretend a PDF can be submitted.

If a reference file is what you actually want, it is a different purchase in a different place: the store keeps MEG solved assignment files listed course code by course code, and that is the correct destination for a learner who intends to do the writing. Buy the reference there, or buy the handwriting here; buying both for the same code is spending twice on one submission.

Ten MEG papers, and the longhand is the part nobody wants.

Send the course codes exactly as your registration confirmation prints them, together with your session and pin code. You get the total, the cut-off system that governs each code, and the delivery position for your area in one reply.

First-Year MEG Codes: One Compulsory Paper, Eight Ways to Fill the Rest

The July 2026 Common Prospectus sets the first year of MAEG at 40 credits, built as MEG-05 plus any four of the eight electives beneath it. Because every course is worth eight credits, five courses complete the year exactly, and the arithmetic is unforgiving: there is no five-credit or six-credit paper to make up a shortfall with. Five papers, forty credits, and a Tutor Marked Assignment attached to each.

MEG-05 is the one code no MAEG learner escapes, and it is worth knowing why it turns up so often elsewhere on this site: it is also compulsory in all four of the School of Humanities postgraduate diplomas built on this code family. A learner who entered MAEG by lateral entry from one of those diplomas has usually written MEG-05 already.

Second-Year MEG Codes: Any Five From Ten, Every Paper Worth Eight Credits

The second year removes the compulsory element entirely. Ten electives are listed and five are chosen, again for 40 credits. This is the point at which two MAEG records stop resembling one another at all: there are two hundred and fifty-two distinct ways to pick five papers out of ten, which is why a fixed second-year bundle sold by subject-code set is almost never the set a given learner is registered in.

Counted end to end that is nineteen MEG codes in existence and ten in any one learner’s degree. Nine papers on the list above and the one before it will never appear on your grade card, and IGNOU’s own programme index confirms the ceiling: it publishes assignment files for MEG-01 through MEG-19 and stops there. Nothing numbered MEG-20 or higher exists to be ordered, whatever a listing elsewhere suggests. The credits check out against the prospectus figure without adjustment: five papers at eight credits in each year is 40 and 40, and the stated total for the award of the degree is 80.

Recognising the title matters as much as recognising the number, because at least two of the titles above are printed more than one way in IGNOU’s own documents, and a listing filed under the wrong spelling is easy to buy by mistake. Anything ordered by session rather than by code should be checked against the session-wise index of solved assignments across every programme before payment, whichever format you settle on.

Four PG Diplomas Are Assembled From These Same MEG Papers

MAEG does not own its course codes exclusively. The School of Humanities runs four postgraduate diplomas made entirely out of MEG papers, each worth 32 credits, each requiring MEG-05, and each carrying a lateral-entry route into the MA. This matters commercially for one reason: a diploma learner ordering a handwritten set is ordering against exactly the same booklet a MAEG learner uses, at exactly the same rate, and needs the same paper.

One consequence is worth spelling out for anyone comparing listings. A diploma learner searching for their own programme code will find no handwritten product named after it anywhere, because the paper they must answer is a MEG paper and is filed under MEG. Sending the course codes rather than the programme name is what resolves it in one message.

The asymmetry in that table is real and worth pausing on. Two of the four diplomas print a fixed set of four papers with no choice at all; the other two print five options and instruct the learner to take three. All four sit under one programme coordinator in one school. There is no stated reason for the difference, and a learner reading only the diploma page they enrolled through would never see it. Reference material for the fixed pair is on the store under the PGDNOV books listing, and the related literature diploma stocked alongside it is PGDBLT for British Literature.

Eight Places the MAEG Record Contradicts Itself

Each of the following was found by reading IGNOU’s own documents against one another rather than by repeating what other pages say, and the last three are errors on properties this publisher owns.

Conflicts found while checking MAEG sources, named one at a time. Where a source below disagrees with your own booklet, your own booklet wins.

1. The programme has two codes in one document. The July 2026 Common Prospectus heads the section MAEG and lists the programme as MAEG in its master table. The same prospectus, in all four postgraduate diploma entries that offer lateral entry, calls the destination programme MEG. Every live assignment booklet prints Programme: MEG on its inner page. Neither code is wrong; MAEG is what appears on the admission record and MEG is what prefixes the courses and the papers.

2. Two cut-off systems are live at once. The 2026-27 MEG-01 booklet dates submission by the examination you are heading towards: 30 April for June, 31 October for December. The 2025-26 booklets for MEG-05, MEG-08, MEG-10 and MEG-16 date it by the session you enrolled in instead: 31 March for a July session, 30 September for a January session. That is a full month apart in each direction and a different anchoring rule altogether.

3. Three assignment-code formats coexist. One booklet prints the course code with a session span attached, another prints a code with a TMA segment and a two-year span, and a third prints the bare course code with no session at all. All three are current IGNOU files for the same programme.

4. MEG-05 has three titles. The MAEG table in the prospectus calls it Literary Theory and Criticism. The four diploma tables in the same prospectus call it Literary Theory & Criticism. IGNOU’s own study repository and its term-end question papers call it Literary Criticism and Theory. It is one course.

5. Two more titles are printed inconsistently. MEG-13 appears as Writing from the Margins in the MAEG table and as Writings From the Margins in the diploma table on a later page of the same document. MEG-17 is printed with a stray character trailing its title in the MAEG table and cleanly as American Drama in the diploma table.

6. Foolscap on the booklet, A4 nearly everywhere else. Every MEG booklet checked for this page instructs foolscap size paper. Several Regional Centre notices and the general advice circulating online instruct ruled or plain A4. This store’s own handwritten category page currently says A4 as well. The paper you hold governs your submission.

7. Two IGNOU portals disagree on what is published. The MEG programme index on the assignment web service tops out at the July 2024 to January 2025 session. The file directory on the main university site carries 2025-26 and 2026-27 MEG papers that the index does not link. Search your course code on both before concluding a paper does not exist.

8. Errors on this publisher’s own properties, queued for correction. Three different prices for the same handwritten service are live on this store — ₹300 on legacy solved-assignment pages, ₹320 on the category page, ₹350 on legacy handwritten products. The store’s MEG-16 solved-assignment listing carries MEG-12’s title in its address. An older MEG assignment article on the companion site still prints 2019 submission dates. And aggregator pages circulate 64 credits for this programme where the July 2026 prospectus prints 80. Where those pages and this one disagree, this one is correct.

Two Cut-Off Systems Are Live on MEG Booklets at the Same Time

This is the single most useful thing on the page, so it is worth stating without hedging. Read the submission paragraph in your own MEG booklet, because the School of Humanities is currently running two different date conventions across its English papers and they are one month apart.

The examination-anchored pair reads 30 April for the June term-end examination and 31 October for the December one. It appears on the newest MEG-01 booklet covering July 2026 and January 2027, and it also appears on the online-mode MEG booklet issued for July 2025 and January 2026. The session-anchored pair reads 31 March for a learner enrolled in the July session and 30 September for a learner enrolled in the January session. It appears on the 2025-26 distance-mode booklets for MEG-05, MEG-08, MEG-10 and MEG-16.

Neither is a misprint and neither overrides the other. Each governs the paper it is printed on. The practical consequence is that a MAEG learner carrying one 2026-27 paper alongside four 2025-26 papers can be looking at two deadlines in the same download folder, and the earlier of the two is the one that matters for planning. Submission is also an eligibility gate rather than a scoring exercise: the booklets repeat that assignments must reach the Study Centre Coordinator before you can sit the term-end examination for that course.

Two practical consequences follow for planning. The first is that an order placed against the wrong assumption loses a month, and a month is the entire margin between the two systems, so the session line in your first message does more work than any other line in it. The second is that the two systems drift apart differently for July and January learners: a July learner reading the session-anchored rule gets 31 March and reading the exam-anchored rule gets 30 April, which is a month gained, while a January learner moves from 30 September to 31 October in the same direction. Neither reading is safe to guess at, and neither can be inferred from the programme; it has to be read off the paper.

Dates shift by session and by Regional Centre, and IGNOU has extended them by public notice more than once in recent cycles. Confirm yours on the university’s own assignment download service before you plan any handwritten work. The only urgency on this page is the date printed on your own paper; nothing here is time-limited by Shri Chakradhar Publication.

What the Code Printed at the Top of Your MEG Paper Means

The line that causes the most confusion at the counter is the assignment code, which is not the same thing as the course code. Read left to right, it identifies the paper, the type of work and the cycle it belongs to. A form such as MEG-16/TMA/2025-26 names the course, marks the work as a Tutor Marked Assignment, and fixes it to the 2025-26 cycle.

Three complications are worth knowing before you copy that line onto a front page. First, not every MEG booklet prints a TMA segment; the 2026-27 MEG-01 paper carries the course code and the session span with no TMA in the middle. Second, one 2025-26 paper prints the bare course code with no session attached at all, which leaves the learner to supply the cycle from the cover sheet. Third, the cover of every MEG booklet names the Master’s degree only, so a learner enrolled in one of the four postgraduate diplomas will not find their own programme printed anywhere on the paper they are required to answer.

The working rule is simple: copy the assignment code exactly as your own downloaded paper prints it, including its spacing, and if your paper prints none, write the course code and the session as your registration confirmation gives them. Every front page prepared with an order is filled to match the paper the answers were written against. IGNOU’s MEG programme index of assignment files is the place to confirm which sessions have been posted for your code.

Foolscap Sheets, in a Hand That Matches Your Earlier Semesters

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. On a two-year degree submitted across four cut-offs, this is worth more than it first appears: a Study Centre accumulates your files, and a visibly different hand appearing in the second year of a record that began in the first is an inconsistency with no upside.

The physical specification follows the booklet rather than a house style. Foolscap sheets, because that is what the MEG paper instructs. Blue or black ink, with red and green left to the evaluator. A clear left margin kept for evaluator comments. Key terms underlined once rather than decorated. Each answer opened with the booklet’s own question number, pages numbered through and tagged, and each course code tied off as its own bundle.

Photographing a Sample Page That Is Actually Usable

A usable sample is one full page of your ordinary writing, not a carefully drawn specimen, photographed straight on in daylight with the whole sheet in frame. Ordinary joins, ordinary letter sizes and ordinary speed are what make a match convincing; a page written slowly to look neat produces a match to handwriting you do not actually have. Nothing about the sample is retained beyond the order it belongs to, and it is requested before payment rather than after, so you see the writing standard before any money moves.

English-Only Instruction, and Why an Old MEG Paper Stops Working

The prospectus records the medium of instruction for MAEG as English, which makes this one of the few IGNOU master’s programmes with no parallel Hindi paper to choose between. That removes a decision most learners on other programmes have to make, and it removes a common ordering error along with it. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, so if the university issues a paper for your enrolment in any medium, it is written at that rate.

Sessions behave differently. A MEG paper belongs to a cycle and is replaced when that cycle closes, and the questions genuinely change: the 2025-26 MEG-10 paper and the 2026-27 MEG-01 paper do not even share a question-count convention, one printing five questions to be answered in full and the other printing seven from which five are chosen. Answering last cycle’s questions in beautiful handwriting is still the wrong submission. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject, and a backlog code is written against the paper that governs it rather than against whatever is newest on the portal.

The Four Lines That Settle a MAEG Order

There is no form, no account and no login. One WhatsApp message carries everything needed to price and start the work, and anything beyond these four lines is usually noise.

  1. The MEG codes. Copied from your registration confirmation rather than recalled — for example MEG-05, MEG-07 and MEG-12. The number is what identifies the paper; the title is a useful cross-check.
  2. The session on your paper. Whether you are working from a 2025-26 or a 2026-27 file, and whether you were admitted in a July or a January cycle. That single line decides which of the two cut-off systems applies to you.
  3. A handwriting sample. A single sheet of your ordinary writing, photographed and sent through, is all the matching step needs. It costs nothing, and sending one commits you to nothing.
  4. Your pin code, and anything your centre insists on. If your Study Centre wants the question paper stapled in front, or a particular cover-sheet layout, say so in the first message rather than after the writing is done.

One message, and the longhand stops being your problem.

Every code is matched to the booklet that governs it before a page is written, and you are told plainly if one of your codes is not posted for the session you named.

Start the MAEG Order Now

Once the Bundle Is in Your Hands

Handing the set over is not quite the last step. Get the counter receipt stamped and keep it, and photocopy the written pages before you submit them — the MEG booklets ask for both in writing, and they also record that the Study Centre is meant to return the evaluated assignment to you afterwards.

Two things are worth doing on the day rather than afterwards. Check that the front page carries the same course code and session as the answers beneath it, because a mismatched pair is the commonest reason a bundle is set aside at the counter rather than logged. And hand each code over as its own bundle even where the clerk offers to take the lot together, since the receipt is written against codes and an unlisted code is difficult to trace later.

Marks then travel in stages: the Study Centre records the submission, the evaluated score is transmitted onward to the Student Evaluation Division, and the figure eventually appears against that MEG code on your grade card. A MAEG course showing as incomplete is far more often a missing component than a failed one, and on a ten-course degree where each course carries a full 100-mark assignment, one absent score is disproportionately visible. Keep the receipt until the number appears.

What MA English Learners Put Beside the Handwritten Set

MAEG carries no project course and no dissertation, which is unusual among IGNOU master’s programmes and changes what learners need. There is no synopsis to approve and no guide to find; the second year is five more eight-credit papers and their assignments. What learners ask for alongside is reading support and examination preparation rather than fieldwork help.

Learners who prefer to write the set personally lose nothing by doing so, and the method costs nothing: the step-by-step handwritten assignment guide on ignouproject.com sets out the format, the cover page and the submission routes in full. Every MEG booklet asks for answers in your own words, and this product exists for learners short of time rather than short of ability.

MAEG Queries That Arrive on WhatsApp Before an Order

How much does one IGNOU MAEG handwritten assignment cost?

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. One MEG course code is one subject, so a learner ordering MEG-05, MEG-07 and MEG-12 is ordering three subjects. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.

Is MAEG the same programme as MEG, or are they different?

They are one programme with two codes in circulation. MAEG is the programme code printed in the July 2026 Common Prospectus and on your admission record. MEG is the course-code prefix on all nineteen papers, and it is also what IGNOU prints on the Programme line inside every assignment booklet and in the lateral-entry paragraphs of the four related diplomas. Order using the MEG course codes; identify yourself using whichever programme code your own record shows.

How many MEG papers do I actually have to write?

Ten, out of the nineteen that exist. The first year is MEG-05 plus any four of eight electives, and the second year is any five of ten. Each course is worth eight credits and each carries one Tutor Marked Assignment of 100 marks, which is how the programme reaches its stated total of 80 credits.

What is the last date for submitting a MEG assignment?

It depends which booklet governs your code, because two systems are currently live. The newest 2026-27 MEG paper dates submission by the examination — 30 April for June, 31 October for December. The 2025-26 MEG papers date it by the session you enrolled in — 31 March for July, 30 September for January. Read the submission paragraph on your own downloaded paper and confirm it with your Regional Centre, because dates also shift by notification.

Should a MEG assignment be written on A4 or on foolscap?

Every live MEG booklet checked for this page instructs foolscap size paper, tagged through. Much of the general advice online, and several Regional Centre notices, say ruled or plain A4 instead. Sets prepared here follow the instruction printed on your own MEG paper. If your Study Centre has told you something different in writing, say so when you order and the set will follow that instead.

What is the difference between a MEG solved assignment and a handwritten one?

A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one session; you read it and write your own answers from it. A handwritten assignment is those answers already written out by hand on paper and couriered to you as a hard copy. The first is study material, the second is a submission. This page sells the second.

Can I print a downloaded MEG solved assignment and submit that instead?

No. The MEG booklet instructs the learner to write in their own handwriting, and a printed or typed set is a well-known reason for a submission being turned away at the counter. A downloaded file is reference material until somebody writes it out. If you want the file rather than the writing, buy it from the MEG solved assignment category instead of ordering here.

Do you sell a PDF or scanned copy of the MEG handwritten set?

No soft copy or PDF is sold. What is delivered is paper. If your Regional Centre asks for an upload, you scan the pages that reach you and submit the scan yourself, which keeps the original in your possession for the Study Centre.

Is the courier charged separately on a MAEG order?

No. The ₹320 covers the writing and the despatch together, so the figure you are quoted for a set of MEG codes is the figure you pay. There is no packing fee, no handling fee and no delivery surcharge by region, and a learner in a district town is charged exactly what a learner in a metro is charged.

How long will the MEG set take to reach me?

Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. Send your pin code with your codes and you will be told the position for your area before any money moves.

Can I get backlog MEG codes from an older session written?

Yes. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. A backlog code is written against the paper that governs that code and that cycle, not against the newest paper on the portal, because the questions change between cycles.

Can the MAEG set be written to match my own handwriting?

Yes, and at no cost. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. One full page of your ordinary writing, photographed straight on in daylight, is enough.

I am enrolled in PGDNOV, not MAEG — can you still write my papers?

Yes, at the same rate, because the papers are the same papers. PGDNOV, PGDWM, PGDAML and PGDNLEG all issue against MEG course codes and all require MEG-05. The booklet cover names only the Master’s degree, which is why diploma learners often assume the paper is not theirs. Send the codes from your own record and they will be matched to the correct booklet.

Is there a project or dissertation in MAEG?

No. The programme is ten taught courses of eight credits and no project course, which is unlike most IGNOU master’s programmes. There is no synopsis to get approved and no guide to appoint, so the whole internal-assessment component of the degree sits in the ten assignments.

Will this assignment be accepted, and what marks will it get?

No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. What is within this publisher’s control is that the answers are complete, legible, written against the correct paper and presented in the format the booklet asks for.

Is shrichakradhar.com an official IGNOU website?

Shri Chakradhar Publication Pvt. Ltd. and shrichakradhar.com form an independent IGNOU study-support publisher. Three different kinds of statement appear on this page and they are deliberately kept apart, because a learner deciding what to trust needs to know which is which.

  • Programme structure, from the prospectus. The 80-credit total, the two-year minimum and four-year maximum duration, the School of Humanities placement, the English medium of instruction, the eight-credit weighting of every course, the 40-credit years, the compulsory status of MEG-05, all nineteen course codes with their official titles, and the four postgraduate diplomas with their code sets and 32-credit totals are taken from the IGNOU Common Prospectus, July 2026. The credit arithmetic was checked before the tables were trusted: five courses at eight credits in each year gives 40 and 40, and 80 is the total the prospectus states for the award of the degree.
  • Assignment facts, from live booklets. The two cut-off systems, the three assignment-code formats, the foolscap instruction, the own-handwriting instruction, the 100-mark total per paper and the differing question patterns were read off four separate MEG booklets published on ignou.ac.in rather than one, so that a template carry-over in a single file could not be mistaken for the programme’s format. Those were the 2026-27 MEG-01 paper, the 2025-26 MEG-10 paper, the 2025-26 MEG-16 paper, and the online-mode MEG booklet for July 2025 and January 2026. The published-session position was read off IGNOU’s own MEG assignment index.
  • Commercial terms, from this publisher. The ₹320 rate, the hard-copy-only format, the included courier, the absence of a minimum order, the free front page, the free handwriting match and the refusal to name a delivery figure are Shri Chakradhar Publication’s own terms. They are not IGNOU rules, and IGNOU has no involvement in them.

Published 18 August 2026. Last reviewed 18 August 2026. Next scheduled review February 2027, ahead of the 31 March session-anchored cut-off, and again in September 2027 ahead of the 30 September one. Programme facts are re-checked against ignou.ac.in before every review.

Important Notice

Shri Chakradhar Publication Pvt. Ltd. and shrichakradhar.com form an independent IGNOU study-support publisher. This is not the official website of Indira Gandhi National Open University, is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by the university, and no page on this site should be treated as an official IGNOU communication.

Programme structures, course codes, submission dates and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment.

You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course.

No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.
