Description
In short. This product is the handwritten answer set for the Tutor Marked Assignment questions of the Master of Arts (Development Studies), the 72-credit MADVS run year wise over two years by IGNOU’s School of Extension and Development Studies, in which thirteen taught codes across two prefixes carry a question paper (MDV 101, MDV 102, MDV 103, MDV 4, MDV 106 and MDV 109 in the first year, and MDV 105, MDV 108, MDV 110, MDV 111, MDV 115, MEDS 41 and MEDS 42 in the second) while the twelve-credit MDVP 117 Project Work carries none, and Shri Chakradhar Publication writes that set one course code at a time. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, which on MADVS means the English paper, because section 3.46 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus records the medium of instruction as English. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject, which matters here because the booklet itself tells you to answer the newest questions on the website irrespective of when you registered. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. Send the codes as your registration confirmation spells them, the session printed on the cover of the file you downloaded, and your delivery pin code. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
What Lands on Your Doorstep for Each MDV Code
One order equals one course code, and one course code equals one bundle of paper. Nothing in the parcel needs printing, downloading or assembling before it reaches the study centre allotted to you at admission, because the School of Extension and Development Studies booklet is explicit that the set is submitted there and nowhere else.
- The written answers. Five questions per code, answered longhand on A4 in blue or black ink, at roughly the eight hundred words per answer the current MDV booklet asks for. Pages are written on both sides with a margin and fastened course wise, which is the binding instruction the booklet prints rather than an in-house preference.
- The IGNOU-format front page, free. Filled with your name, enrolment number, admission session, course code, course title and Regional Centre, matching the six fields the booklet asks you to write on the first page of each assignment.
- A copy of the question paper. The same MDV or MEDS file the answers were written against, so the evaluator’s questions and your answers travel together and you can check the pairing before you hand anything over.
- Nothing digital. No soft copy or PDF is sold. There is no download link with this product and no scanned version follows the courier.
Inside the ₹320, and the Things It Deliberately Leaves Out
The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. That figure is the whole invoice line for one course code. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. A learner who cleared five first-year papers and is carrying MDV 106 alone pays the same per code as a learner ordering the full second year.
Three things sit inside the number without a surcharge. Handwriting matched to your own sample is one of them. The IGNOU-format cover sheet is the second. The courier is the third, and it is genuinely included rather than added at checkout.
Two things sit outside it, and saying so plainly is more useful than a longer feature list. Marks are outside it: no claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. A dispatch date is also outside it. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page, which is a deliberate correction to older wording elsewhere on this store that quoted working-day counts it could not hold to for every pin code in the country.
Reference File or Submission Set: Telling the Two Apart
Two very different things get called an assignment in the same breath by MADVS learners, and ordering the wrong one wastes a cycle. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one session, downloaded and read. A handwritten assignment is those answers written out by hand on A4 and handed in as a hard copy at your study centre. The first is study material. The second is the submission.
| Question | Solved assignment (soft copy) | Handwritten assignment (this product) |
|---|---|---|
| What it physically is | A PDF of model answers for one MDV or MEDS code | Ink on A4 sheets, written by hand, fastened course wise |
| What you do with it | Read it, understand the argument, then write your own version | Check it, sign the declaration on the cover page, hand it in |
| Who it suits | A learner who has the time to write but not the reading time | A learner short of writing hours across six or more codes |
| Can it be submitted as is | No. Printing it does not turn it into a submission | Yes, that is what it was written to be |
| Where it sits on this store | The programme-wise solved-assignment shelf | This page, at ₹320 per subject |
Drag the table sideways if your screen is narrow. The handwritten column sits on the right.
IGNOU settles the question itself. Instruction 4 on both the MDV-103 and MDV-105 booklets for the July 2025 and January 2026 sessions states that you should write in your own handwriting and that only handwritten assignments are evaluated. That single line is why this product exists in hard copy and why nothing here is sold as a file. A downloaded PDF, however good the answers inside it, is a reference to write from and never a submission in its own right.
If a reference file is what you actually came for, the store keeps a separate shelf for it: the library of MADVS solved assignments arranged by MDV course code is where those PDFs live, and that page rather than this one is the right destination for that query. Neither product replaces the development studies blocks IGNOU already posted to you.

The Six First-Year MDV Papers, Which Are Also the Whole Diploma
Section 3.46 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus prints six first-year courses at six credits each. None of them is optional, so every MADVS learner in year one holds the same six codes and the same six question papers. The codes below are reproduced exactly as the prospectus prints them, spacing included, because the spacing is part of the problem this page documents further down.
| Code as printed | Title of the course | Credits | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| MDV 101 | Introduction to Development and Development Theories | 6 | Compulsory |
| MDV 102 | Dynamics of Development | 6 | Compulsory |
| MDV 103 | Issues and Challenges of Development | 6 | Compulsory |
| MDV 4 | Gender and Development | 6 | Compulsory |
| MDV 106 | Research Methodology in Development Studies | 6 | Compulsory |
| MDV 109 | Development in India – An Overview | 6 | Compulsory |
Drag the table sideways on a narrow screen. Six papers, thirty-six credits, no choices.
Six courses at six credits is thirty-six credits, and that sum is not taken on trust here. Section 3.46 prints no total-credits row at all, unlike the MACSR table on the very next page which closes with a printed 72. The thirty-six was arrived at by addition and then corroborated from a second place in the same document: section 8.20, the Post Graduate Diploma in Development Studies table, lists these identical six courses and closes with a line reading Total Credits 36.
That corroboration carries a consequence worth knowing before you order. The MADVS first year and the entire PGDDVS are the same six papers at the same thirty-six credits. The prospectus notes that a learner who finishes the diploma may take lateral entry into the second year of the degree, which is the structural reason a first-year MADVS learner and a PGDDVS learner sitting in different programmes download the same MDV files. If you hold the diploma and are entering the degree laterally, you are ordering only from the second-year list below, and the PGDDVS course-code shelf is where your earlier codes were catalogued.
The Second-Year Menu, and Why Two Classmates Order Different Sets
The second year is not a syllabus. Section 3.46 heads it Choose any 36 Credits and then prints eight rows adding to fifty-four. Two learners admitted the same July can therefore hold completely different second years and completely different order lists, which is why this product is priced and sold per course code rather than as a year bundle.
| Code as printed | Title of the course | Credits | Carries a TMA paper |
|---|---|---|---|
| MDV 105 | Development Planning and Management | 6 | Yes |
| MDV 108 | Development Communication and Extension | 6 | Yes |
| MDV 110 | Training and Development | 6 | Yes |
| MDV 111 | Local Self Governance and Development | 6 | Yes |
| MDV 115 | Health and Development | 6 | Yes |
| MEDS 41 | Introduction to Urban Development | 6 | Yes |
| MEDS 42 | Issues and Challenges in Urban Planning and Development | 6 | Yes |
| MDVP 117 | Project Work, recorded as equivalent to two courses | 12 | No |
Drag the table sideways on a narrow screen. The last column is the one that changes what you order.
The arithmetic decides your order size, so it is worth doing rather than assuming. Thirty-six credits from a menu of fifty-four means one of two shapes. Take six taught papers at six credits each and you order six subjects. Take the twelve-credit MDVP 117 Project Work plus four taught papers and you order four subjects, because a project is written up as a report and answered nowhere on a question paper. Thirty-six in the first year and thirty-six chosen in the second reaches the seventy-two credits the programme requires, and counting every printed row instead reaches ninety, which is the arithmetic that tells you the second-year list is a menu rather than a syllabus.
Two of the eight rows are borrowed. MEDS 41 and MEDS 42 belong to the urban planning stable of the same school, which is why a MADVS learner who elects them may open a file that names a different programme on its cover, and why the urban planning diploma code shelf carries the same two papers. MDV codes travel in the other direction too: several of them are examined under the Corporate Social Responsibility master’s, and the MA Corporate Social Responsibility code list shows the overlap from that side. Handwritten sets are prepared against whichever file your own registration record points to.
If MDVP 117 is the twelve credits you chose, it falls outside this product entirely. A project is a report with a synopsis, a supervisor and a submission route of its own, and the MADVS project hard-copy shelf is where that work is quoted, at project pricing rather than at the ₹320 assignment rate.
Eleven Contradictions Worth Knowing Before You Download Anything
Everything below was found by reading IGNOU’s own documents against one another, not taken from any study-help site. Eleven separate disagreements surfaced, and each one can cost you a download, a search or a wasted afternoon, so each is named here rather than smoothed over. The eleventh is a set of errors on this website itself, disclosed for the same reason: a page that hides its own mistakes is a worse guide than one that lists them.
Conflicts found while building this page. Read these before you go hunting for a PDF.
1. The gender paper has three spellings and none of them is the obvious one. Section 3.46 prints it as MDV 4. Section 3.47, one page later in the same prospectus, prints the identical course as MDV-004. The live assignment booklets and their coordinator lists print MDV 004. The string MDV 104, which is what the numbering pattern would lead you to type, appears nowhere in the July 2026 Common Prospectus at all. Search more than one form before concluding the paper is missing.
2. The two borrowed urban papers are padded two ways inside one document. Section 3.46 prints MEDS 41 and MEDS 42. Section 3.47 and the urban studies table print the same two courses as MEDS-041 and MEDS-042. The booklets’ coordinator list uses the padded form.
3. Two booklets from one school and one session carry different programmes on the cover. The MDV-105 file for July 2025 and January 2026 is headed Master of Arts (Development Studies) (MADVS). The MDV-103 file for the same two sessions, same school, identical instruction block, is headed Post Graduate Diploma in Development Studies (PGDDVS) and does not name MADVS anywhere on its cover, although MDV 103 is a compulsory MADVS first-year course. Do not treat a cover that names another programme as evidence the paper is not yours.
4. One course title, two prepositions. The prospectus calls MDV 103 Issues and Challenges of Development. Its own booklet heads the assignment Issues and Challenges in Development.
5. One course title, three punctuations. MDV 109 appears as Development in India – An Overview in section 3.46, as Development in India – An Overview in section 3.47, and closed up as Development in India- An Overview in the diploma table.
6. The MADVS table prints no total. Section 3.46 gives no total-credits row, while the neighbouring MACSR table closes with a printed 72 and the diploma table closes with a printed 36. The MADVS 72 is a figure you have to derive.
7. The programme description is worded two ways. Section 3.46 says the programme was designed to impact quality education and lists an objective to impact knowledge. The diploma section of the same prospectus and IGNOU’s own live MADVS programme page both use impart.
8. One booklet asks for the front page twice, differently. Instruction 1 lists six things to write on the first page. The Cover Page for Assignment printed at the back of the same file lists thirteen fields, including an Assignment No. that instruction 1 never mentions. Fill both.
9. Two filename conventions in one school and one cycle. The MDV-103 paper is posted with a four-digit year span and the MDV-105 paper with a two-digit one. If a guessed address returns nothing, the other convention is the first thing to try, which is a good reason to reach the papers through IGNOU’s own assignment index rather than by typing a URL.
10. Widely circulated deadlines that do not govern an MDV code. The 30 April and 31 October pair belongs to the School of Management Studies, and the 31 May and 30 November pair is a general term-end figure repeated by aggregator sites. Neither is what the School of Extension and Development Studies prints on a MADVS booklet.
11. Errors on this website, queued for correction. Older product pages on shrichakradhar.com still quote handwritten assignments at ₹300 and at ₹350 alongside the ₹320 rate stated here, still print working-day delivery counts, and the store carries two different founding years across its own pages. Some category pages still carry marks language that this page will not repeat. The rate, the format and the absence of any marks claim on this page are the correct position; the older wording is being removed.
31 March and 30 September: the Dates SOEDS Actually Prints
Submission dates in IGNOU are set per school, not per university, and MADVS sits under the School of Extension and Development Studies. Instruction 5 on the current booklets reads that the last date for submitting the assignments for the July 2025 session is 31 March 2026 and for the January 2026 session is 30 September 2026, with a bracketed note to check the university website in case the date has been extended.
Two things follow. The July cycle runs to 31 March of the following calendar year, so a learner admitted in July has roughly eight months rather than three. The January cycle runs to 30 September of the same year. The pattern rolls forward with the cycle, so read your own file rather than inheriting a year from this sentence.
That bracket about extensions is not decoration. IGNOU has moved these dates inside a cycle before, and Regional Centres have announced their own local cut-offs. Treat the printed date as the outer limit for planning and the Regional Centre as the authority on the day. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent, which is what a missed date actually costs: not the paper, the share of the result the paper was carrying.
Your Paper Has No TMA String, It Has an Assignment Number
Learners arriving from a management or literature programme go looking for a code shaped like a slash-separated string with the word TMA in it. There is no such string on a MADVS paper. Neither of the two current booklets read for this page prints one anywhere.
What the file carries instead is a plain heading, an assignment number and the course code underneath it. The MDV-103 file heads its questions ASSIGNMENT 3 above Course Code: MDV – 103. The MDV-105 file heads its questions ASSIGNMENT 7 above Course Code: MDV-105. That pairing is the detail worth carrying away: the assignment number and the number inside the course code agree for the first-year papers and stop agreeing from the second year onward, because the numbering follows the teaching sequence rather than the code. MDV 105 is Assignment 7, not Assignment 5.
Practically, that means three fields identify a MADVS paper and you should send all three: the course code, the assignment number printed above the questions, and the two sessions named on the cover. Papers are replaced each cycle, so a file downloaded a year ago is not the file being marked now. The booklet resolves that in one line: irrespective of the year and session of your registration, you submit the latest assignments uploaded on the website. A backlog MDV code is therefore answered against today’s questions, not against the questions that were live when you first registered, and the current papers are always available through IGNOU’s own assignment download service.
Your Own Hand, Copied From a Photo You Send
Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. One writer is assigned to your whole order so the six or seven codes in a MADVS year read as one person’s work rather than as a committee’s, which matters more on a two-year annual programme than on a semester one, because the same evaluator may see several of your files in a single cycle.
What Makes a Usable Sample Photo
Half a page is enough. Write in the pen you normally use, in daylight, on ruled or plain A4, and photograph it flat rather than at an angle. Include a few capitals and a line of numbers, since MDV answers are full of course codes, credit figures and years. The sample is looked at before anything is written and before you pay, so if the match is not close enough the point to say so is at the start, not after a parcel has travelled.
English on Paper, Any Cycle in the Ledger
The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. On MADVS that clause resolves to a single answer rather than a choice. Section 3.46 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus records the medium of instruction as English, and both live MDV files read while building this page are English. Third-party pages advertising MADVS solved assignments in Hindi medium are describing their own product, not an IGNOU paper anyone has shown. If the university does publish a MADVS file in another medium, it is covered at the same ₹320, but treat an unsourced offer of a Hindi MDV paper with caution and check your own download first.
Sessions are the easier half. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. A single carried-over MDV 106 from three cycles back is an ordinary order, not a special case, and the booklet’s own latest-assignment rule means it is written against the questions posted now.
What to Message, and What Not to Bother With
Five things settle a MADVS order. Anything beyond them slows the reply down rather than speeding it up.
- Your course codes, spelled as your registration record spells them. If your record says MDV 004 and the prospectus says MDV 4, send what your record says. Both are understood here.
- Which year you sit in. First-year sets are fixed at six codes. Second-year sets vary with what you elected, so the year tells the desk whether the list you sent is complete.
- The two sessions printed on your booklet cover. The cover names a pair, such as a July session and the January session that follows it. That pair identifies which questions are current for you.
- Your delivery pin code. This is what a dispatch estimate is built from, and it is confirmed to you before payment.
- Your handwriting sample photo. Half a page, sent on WhatsApp, at whatever point suits you before the writing starts.
What you do not need to send: your enrolment number at the enquiry stage, your marks, your grade card, your study centre code, or a scan of the question paper. The papers are downloaded here from IGNOU’s own index against the codes you give.
Send the Codes, Not the Course Names
₹320 per subject, hard copy with courier included, any session including backlogs. Codes travel better than titles, because two MADVS titles differ only by a preposition between the prospectus and the booklet.
Paste your MDV and MEDS list into WhatsApp and a per-code confirmation comes back before payment.
When the Parcel Opens
The parcel is not the end of the job, and pretending otherwise would be doing you a disservice. Four things are yours to do once it arrives.
Check the pairing first. Each set should carry the course code you ordered and the question paper that produced it. On a programme where one file may be headed with a different programme’s name, checking the code rather than the cover heading is the reliable test.
Read the answers before you sign anything. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. On MDV papers that is a real reading task, not a formality: five answers of around eight hundred words is four thousand words per code.
Submit at the allotted study centre, which is what the booklet instructs, and take the receipt. Then keep evidence of what you handed in. The booklet’s own closing advice is to keep a scan copy with you until the marks appear on your grade card, and that advice is worth following exactly.
After that, evaluation is outside anybody’s hands but IGNOU’s. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.
Where MADVS Learners Go Next on This Store
A handwritten set solves the writing problem and leaves the exam untouched, so most learners ordering here are also buying something to read. For the seventy per cent that the term-end paper carries, the MADVS guide books written against the MDV syllabus compress the blocks into revision length, and the solved guess papers built from past MADVS question papers show which topics keep returning across cycles.
Learners entering laterally from the diploma often want the earlier year’s reading as well, which is what the development studies diploma book shelf holds, since those six codes are the MADVS first year under a different programme name. If you are ordering handwritten sets for a programme other than this one, the full handwritten assignment range across IGNOU programmes lists them, and the open customised handwritten order for any course and session covers codes that have no programme page of their own yet.
If you would rather write the answers yourself and only want the codes, dates and format explained, the editorial companion to this page at the MADVS handwritten assignment guide on ignouproject.com covers the same ground without selling you a set.
What Development Studies Learners Ask Before They Pay
How many subjects do I actually order for MADVS second year?
Six if you take six taught papers at six credits each, and four if you take the twelve-credit MDVP 117 Project Work plus four taught papers. Section 3.46 asks you to choose any thirty-six credits from a menu printing fifty-four, so the number of question papers you owe depends on that choice rather than on the programme. Count the credits on your own re-registration record before ordering.
Is the code MDV 4, MDV 004 or MDV 104?
The July 2026 Common Prospectus prints it as MDV 4 in section 3.46 and as MDV-004 in section 3.47. The live assignment booklets print MDV 004 in their coordinator list. MDV 104 appears nowhere in the prospectus, so the number your instinct supplies is the one form that is not used. Send whichever form your registration record prints and search both when hunting for the file.
My MDV-103 file says PGDDVS on the cover. Is it the wrong paper?
Not necessarily. The MDV-103 file for the July 2025 and January 2026 sessions is headed Post Graduate Diploma in Development Studies and does not name MADVS, while the MDV-105 file for the same sessions is headed Master of Arts (Development Studies). The MADVS first year and the whole diploma are the same six courses, so the school issues one paper per code and heads it with whichever programme it chose. Match on the course code, not the cover heading, and confirm with your Regional Centre if the mismatch worries you.
Can I print a MADVS solved assignment PDF and submit that instead?
No. Instruction 4 on the current MDV booklets states that you should write in your own handwriting and that only handwritten assignments are evaluated. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file to write from; printing it does not convert it into a submission. That distinction is the whole reason this product ships as ink on paper.
What is the difference between the solved assignment on this store and this handwritten product?
Format and purpose. The solved assignment is a downloadable PDF of model answers for one MDV code and one session, and it is bought to read. This product is that answer set written out by hand on A4 in hard copy, with an IGNOU-format front page and the question paper, and it is bought to hand in. Learners short of reading time buy the first, learners short of writing hours buy the second, and some buy both for different codes.
What is the last date for a MADVS assignment?
Instruction 5 on the current School of Extension and Development Studies booklets gives 31 March for the July session and 30 September for the January session, printed as 31 March 2026 and 30 September 2026 on the file carrying the July 2025 and January 2026 questions. The booklet adds a bracketed instruction to check the university website for an extension. The 30 April and 31 October pair circulating on several study-help pages belongs to the School of Management Studies and does not govern an MDV code.
Do I answer last year’s MDV paper or the current one?
The current one. The booklet states that irrespective of the year and session of your registration you need to submit the latest assignments uploaded on the website. MADVS is an annual programme rather than a semester one, so a backlog code is not archived against your admission year: it is answered against the questions posted now. That is also why every set written here is written against a freshly downloaded file.
Is a MADVS paper available in Hindi?
Section 3.46 records the medium of instruction for MADVS as English, and both live MDV files read while building this page are English. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price, so an official paper in another medium would be covered, but nothing of that kind was found. Sites advertising Hindi-medium MADVS material are describing their own product rather than an IGNOU file.
How long is one MDV answer supposed to be?
The current booklets ask for around eight hundred words per answer, across five questions of twenty marks each, for a hundred-mark assignment per course. That is roughly four thousand words of longhand for one code. The consolidated MADVS set for the July 2020 and January 2021 sessions asked for around six hundred, so the guideline has moved and your own file is the authority rather than any figure quoted elsewhere.
Does MDVP 117 Project Work come with a question paper?
No. MDVP 117 carries twelve credits, is recorded in section 3.46 as equivalent to two courses, and is written up as a project report rather than answered as assignment questions. It falls outside this product and outside the ₹320 rate. The store quotes it on its own project shelf.
I elected MEDS 41 and MEDS 42. Are those covered here?
Yes, at the same rate, with no surcharge for the different prefix. Both are printed in the MADVS second-year list in section 3.46 at six credits each. They also belong to the urban planning stable of the same school, which is why the file you download may carry a different programme name and why the same two codes appear on the urban planning diploma shelf.
I hold PGDDVS and entered the second year laterally. What do I order?
Only from the second-year list. The prospectus records that a learner completing the Post Graduate Diploma in Development Studies may take lateral entry into the second year of MADVS, and the six first-year MDV codes are the diploma you already finished. Your order is the thirty-six credits you chose from the second-year menu, which is either six taught papers or four plus the project.
Can I order a single MDV code rather than a full year?
Yes. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. A single backlog paper, one elective you are repeating, or the two MEDS codes on their own are all ordinary orders at ₹320 each.
Will I see the handwriting before I pay?
Yes. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge, and a sample in the matched hand is sent back on WhatsApp before any payment is taken. If it is not close enough, that is the point to say so.
How soon will the parcel reach me?
Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. Working-day counts still visible on older pages of this store are being removed, because a single number cannot be true for every pin code in the country and quoting one would be a promise rather than an estimate.
Will the assignment get me good marks?
No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU. What is offered here is the writing work, the correct format, the current question paper and a matched hand, and reading the answers before you sign the declaration remains yours.
Where Every Line on This Page Came From
Three sources sit behind this page and they are kept apart on purpose, because they carry different weight and change on different schedules.
Programme structure, from the prospectus. Every course code, official title, credit value, the first-year and second-year split, the choose-any-thirty-six-credits instruction, the note that MDVP 117 is equivalent to two courses, the English medium of instruction, the School of Extension and Development Studies placement and the lateral-entry route from PGDDVS come from section 3.46 of the IGNOU Common Prospectus July 2026, with section 3.47 and section 8.20 of the same document used to cross-check code spellings and to corroborate the thirty-six-credit first year. Credits were confirmed by addition rather than accepted on sight, because section 3.46 prints no total-credits row of its own.
Dates, format and question pattern, from live booklets. The 31 March and 30 September pair, the hundred-mark total, the five questions at twenty marks each, the eight-hundred-word guideline, the A4 both-sides binding instruction, the own-handwriting instruction, the latest-assignment rule, the study-centre submission line, the thirteen-field cover page and the assignment numbering all come from two files opened on ignou.ac.in while building this page: the MDV-103 booklet for the July 2025 and January 2026 sessions and the MDV-105 booklet for the same two sessions. The six-hundred-word predecessor guideline comes from the consolidated MADVS set for the July 2020 and January 2021 sessions on IGNOU’s assignment index.
Commercial terms, from Shri Chakradhar Publication. The ₹320 rate, hard copy only with courier included, no minimum order, the free IGNOU-format front page, the included question paper, backlog and old-session acceptance, and free handwriting matching from a sample photo are this publisher’s own terms and are not IGNOU rules. They are set here and can be changed here. Nothing in that column should be read as a university position.
Important Notice
Shri Chakradhar Publication Pvt. Ltd. and shrichakradhar.com form an independent IGNOU study-support publisher. This is not the official website of Indira Gandhi National Open University, is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by the university, and no page on this site should be treated as an official IGNOU communication.
Programme structures, course codes, submission dates and rules change, and only ignou.ac.in and your Regional Centre can confirm the current position for your enrolment. That applies with particular force to a programme whose own prospectus prints one course code three ways.
You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course.
No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.
