Description
In short. BAMSME is IGNOU’s three-year, 120-credit Bachelor of Arts (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), run by the School of Vocational Education and Training in English medium, and its 23 course slots draw papers from at least three schools that print different cut-offs: the SOVET booklets for BERC-131 and BERC-132 give 31 March for a January session and 30 September for a July session, the SOEDS booklet for BEDSV-101 Value Education gives 30 September 2026 for a January 2026 admission and 31 March 2027 for a July 2026 admission, and the SOMS booklets for BCOC-131 and BCOC-132 date by examination, 15 October for December and 15 March for June. Shri Chakradhar Publication writes the answers to each of those papers by hand as a separate set per course code, and the rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. No soft copy or PDF is sold. The order starts on WhatsApp at +91 93546 37830, and every date quoted here comes from a booklet opened on IGNOU’s own websites for this page.
Inside the Envelope for Each BAMSME Course Code
A BAMSME order is counted in course codes, not in semesters, because no two learners in this programme carry quite the same list. Someone admitted in the July 2024 launch batch may still owe BERC-131 from Semester 3 while writing BERC-132 for Semester 4, and a learner who picked Hindi Bhasha for the Semester 3 language slot needs a different paper from one who picked English Communication Skills. So each code you send becomes its own bundle, written against its own question paper.
For each code, the parcel holds four things. The first is the answer set itself, written by hand in ink on A4 sheets, answering the questions in the order and number the booklet sets. For BERC-131 that means five answers chosen from the seven printed questions; for BCOC-132 it means all fourteen questions across Sections A, B and C; for BEDSV-101 it means all five compulsory essays. The second is a free IGNOU-format front page. The third is a copy of the official TMA question paper the answers respond to, so that the evaluator at your study centre and you yourself can see which session’s paper was used. The fourth is the courier packaging that carries it to your address, which is already inside the ₹320.
The front page deserves a moment of attention, because the BAMSME booklets do not agree on what goes at the top of page one. The SOVET papers for BERC-131 and BERC-132 ask for four lines: name, enrolment number with year and session, course title and course code. The SOEDS paper for BEDSV-101 asks for seven: enrolment number, name, address, course title, assignment number, study centre and date. The SOMS papers for BCOC-131 and BCOC-132 print an assignment code of their own, BCOC-132/TMA/2025-26 on the 2025-26 paper, which belongs on the cover. When your set arrives, check the header against the booklet for that specific code rather than against the header of a different BAMSME paper.
What the parcel does not hold is also worth stating plainly. There is no digital file of the answers, because the product is the handwritten paper and nothing else. There is no submission service: the booklets tell you to hand the work to the study centre allotted by your Regional Centre, and that step stays with you. And there is no promise about what an evaluator will make of the work, a point this page returns to in the section on the declaration you sign.
Paying ₹320 for One BAMSME Subject: Inclusions and Limits
The unit of price is one course code, which for BAMSME means one Tutor Marked Assignment. Every booklet opened for this page, from SOVET, SOEDS and SOMS alike, sets exactly one assignment of 100 marks per course, so a 6-credit core paper such as BERC-133 and a 4-credit minor such as BERM-161 cost the same. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate.
Inside that figure sit the handwriting, the matching of the hand to your own sample, the free front page, the copy of the question paper and the courier. The store lists a regular price of ₹350 and a sale price of ₹320; the ₹320 figure is the one you pay, and it is the same whether the code is a current-cycle paper or a backlog from an earlier batch.
Three things fall outside the rate, and none of them is sold separately either. The first is any digital version: No soft copy or PDF is sold. The second is any claim about outcome. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. How that 30 per cent is awarded is decided at the study centre by IGNOU’s evaluator, not by the publisher. The third is a delivery date quoted in advance. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
One practical consequence of pricing by code is that a full semester costs four subjects for most of the programme and three for Semester 1, where BEGLA-136, BTMC-134 and BECC-101 make up 18 credits. The Semester 2 load is the heaviest in credit terms, at 22, but it is still four papers: BCOLA-138, BCOC-131, BEVAE-181 and BEDSV-101. Counting papers rather than credits is the simplest way to know what an order will cost before you message.
A Downloaded Solved File or a Handwritten BAMSME Set: What Each Is For
Two different products are sold under similar searches, and it helps to name them before choosing. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for a course code and session, typically a PDF you read on a screen or print for study. A handwritten assignment is the answers written out by hand on A4 and submitted in hard copy at the study centre. One is something to learn from; the other is the physical set that goes to the coordinator.
The BAMSME booklets settle which of the two can be handed in. The SOVET papers for BERC-131 and BERC-132 tell learners to write in their own hand and state that only hand written assignments are accepted. The SOEDS paper for BEDSV-101 says the answers should be in your own handwriting and that you should not send typed assignments. Neither booklet leaves room for a printed PDF, however well answered, to be treated as a submission. A solved file is for study, and it is not the object you hand in.
| Point of comparison | Solved assignment (reference) | Handwritten assignment (this product) |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Soft copy, usually a PDF | Ink on A4 sheets, one set per course code |
| What you do with it | Read it, then write your own answers | Review it, sign the cover declaration and hand it to your study centre |
| What the BERC and BEDSV booklets say | Typed or printed work is not what they ask for | Matches the handwritten form the booklets require |
| Who it suits | Learners with time to write every answer themselves | Learners short of writing time across several BAMSME papers |
| Price line | Sold per code on the solved-assignment shelves | ₹320 per subject, courier included |
On a phone, slide the table sideways to see the third column.
If what you want is a reference file to write from yourself, the store keeps its bachelor’s-level solved assignment reference files on a separate shelf; there is no BAMSME-specific solved shelf yet, so search that shelf by course code. That route suits a learner who has the hours to write. This page exists for the learner who does not, and it does not sell a solved file.
Whichever route you take, the declaration on the cover is yours. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course.
Starting with the BERC papers? Send those codes first.
₹320 per subject, hard copy, courier included. A sample of the hand is shared before any payment.
All 12 BAMSME Discipline Core Papers, Semester by Semester
The Common Prospectus July 2026 describes BAMSME in its section 5.18 as a 120-credit programme spread over six semesters, and its course grid splits those credits into twelve discipline-specific core papers of 6 credits each, worth 72 credits together, and eleven further slots worth 48. The core list is below exactly as the prospectus spells it, including two spellings that look like typing slips and are flagged in the next section. Titles are copied as printed because the title on your admission record is the one your front page should carry.
Three code families run through the core. BERC and BERE are the programme’s own MSME papers, first written for the older BA (Vocational Studies) Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, known as BAVMSME, and carried into BAMSME. BCOC and BCOE are commerce papers shared with the B.Com; if you also know someone on that programme, the B.Com handwritten product, which shares BCOC-131 and BCOC-132 sets out the same two papers from the commerce side. BEGLA-136, BTMC-134 and BCOLA-138 are shared with other undergraduate programmes too, and the school printed on each of their booklets is the one whose calendar applies to that paper.
| Semester | Code | Title as printed in the prospectus | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | BEGLA-136 | English at workplace | 6 |
| 1 | BTMC-134 | Entrepreneurship and Small Business | 6 |
| 2 | BCOLA-138 | Business Communication | 6 |
| 2 | BCOC-131 | Financial Accounting | 6 |
| 3 | BERC-131 | CSR Projects & Programmes | 6 |
| 3 | BCOC-132 | Business Organization and Management | 6 |
| 4 | BERC-132 | IPR for MSMEs and Start-ups | 6 |
| 4 | BCOE-141 | Principals of Marketing (sic) | 6 |
| 5 | BERC-133 | MSMEs and Rural India | 6 |
| 5 | BERE-141 | Institutional Supprot to MSME (sic) | 6 |
| 6 | BERE-143 | Traditional and Rural Enterprise | 6 |
| 6 | BERE-144 | Entrepreneurial Sectors | 6 |

BERC-131 and BERC-132 are the two SOVET papers whose 2025-26 and 2026 booklets were opened for this page, and they are the ones most BAMSME learners in the current batches are writing now. The Semester 5 and Semester 6 BERC and BERE papers had no booklet posted on IGNOU’s BAMSME assignment page when this page was checked; the Semester V and VI columns there are empty. If you reach those semesters, the paper you write against will be whatever SOVET uploads for your cycle, and the set follows that paper.
The 11 Shared Slots: Language, Value, Skill and Minor Papers
The other 48 credits come from papers that BAMSME borrows from IGNOU’s four-year undergraduate framework. These are the slots where learners most often order the wrong paper, because the same code is issued to several programmes and the booklet you download may carry another programme’s name on the cover.
| Semester | Slot | Code and title | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Interdisciplinary | BECC-101 Introductory Microeconomics | 6 |
| 2 | Ability enhancement 1 | BEVAE-181 Environmental Studies | 4 |
| 2 | Value-added | BEDSV-101 Value Education | 6 |
| 3 | Ability enhancement 2 (any one) | BEGAE-182 English Communication Skills, BHDAE-182 Hindi Bhasha, BUDAE-182 Urdu or BSDAE-182 Sanskrit | 4 |
| 3 | Interdisciplinary | BPCS-186 Managing Stress | 4 |
| 4 | Minor 1 | BCOS-185 Entrepreneurship | 4 |
| 4 | Skill enhancement 1 | BCOS-183 Computer Application in Business | 4 |
| 5 | Minor 2 | BERM-161 MSME’s in India: Documentation and Compliance | 4 |
| 5 | Skill enhancement 2 | BPAS-184 Logistics Management | 4 |
| 6 | Minor 3 | BERM-162 Human Resource Management in MSMEs | 4 |
| 6 | Skill enhancement | BCOS-184 E-Commerce | 4 |
Slide sideways on a small screen. Shared slots: 11 papers, 48 credits. With the core, 23 papers and 120 credits.
The semester totals in the prospectus grid read 18, 22, 20, 20, 20 and 20, and they add to the stated 120. That sum was checked before either table was trusted, because extracted prospectus tables have been known to pull rows from a neighbouring programme. The grid also prints three exit points: a UG Certificate at 40 credits after the first year, a UG Diploma at 80 after the second and the UG Degree with Major at 120. The value-added table lists BNME-001 Philosophy of Swami Vivekananda at 6 credits beside BEDSV-101, but the semester grid names only BEDSV-101 for the Semester 2 slot, so check which one your registration shows.
BAMSME has no project, dissertation or internship course in the July 2026 grid, so no project report is part of any BAMSME order. Learners on other programmes that do carry one will find IGNOU project reports for programmes that carry a project course on a separate shelf.
Nine Contradictions Across IGNOU’s BAMSME Paperwork
Five IGNOU sources were read for this page: the Common Prospectus July 2026, the programme launch notification No. 152 dated 1 July 2024, the BAMSME programme page on ignou.ac.in, the BAMSME assignment index on webservices.ignou.ac.in, and the booklets for BERC-131, BERC-132, BEDSV-101, BCOC-131 and BCOC-132. Read against each other, they disagree in the places below. None of these points is a reason to panic; each is a reason to read your own booklet and admission record before writing a word.
Where the documents conflict, the booklet for your own code and your own admission record decide, and your Regional Centre settles anything they leave open.
1. The same session name, opposite dates. The SOVET booklet for BERC-132 gives 31 March 2026 for the January 2026 session and 30 September 2026 for the July 2026 session. The SOEDS booklet for BEDSV-101 gives 30 September 2026 for a January 2026 admission and 31 March 2027 for a July 2026 admission. Both booklets use the same two calendar dates and attach them to the session names the other way round.
2. A third calendar for the commerce papers. The SOMS booklets for BCOC-131 and BCOC-132 do not use 31 March or 30 September at all. They date submission by examination: 15 October for the December term-end examination and 15 March for the June one.
3. Five questions or seven. The cover note on both BERC booklets says the assignment has five questions. The question page underneath prints seven and says to answer any five, each for 20 marks.
4. Twenty credits every semester, except when it is not. Section 5.18 of the prospectus and the ignou.ac.in programme page both say BAMSME carries 20 credits in each semester. The prospectus grid itself gives Semester 1 three papers and 18 credits and Semester 2 four papers and 22 credits.
5. Minor codes renamed between launch and 2026. Launch notification No. 152 lists BERE-142 Documentation for MSMEs as the Semester 5 minor and BERG-172 HRM and Industrial relation in MSMEs as the Semester 6 minor. The July 2026 prospectus lists BERM-161 and BERM-162 in those slots instead.
6. A code with the wrong title on the programme page. The ignou.ac.in BAMSME page still lists BERE-142, at 4 credits in Semester 3, under the title “Institutional Support to MSME’s”, which is the title of BERE-141. The same page lists BERE-141 in Semester 3, not Semester 5, and shows BEVAE-181 in Semester 1 where the prospectus places it in Semester 2. It also lists several codes that appear nowhere in the prospectus BAMSME structure, among them BPCM-161, BPCC-108, BSTM-161 and BANM-163.
7. An assignment index that lags the programme. The BAMSME assignment index is headed “Session: July 2024-January 2025” while linking 2025-26 and 2026 booklets, its page title reads BAVMSME, its Semester IV column lists BPAS-184 where the prospectus and the notification place BCOS-183, and its Semester V and VI columns are empty.
8. Other programmes’ booklets behind BAMSME links. The BCOC-131 link on that index opens a Bachelor in Commerce Online (BCOMOL) booklet valid from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025, which has lapsed. The BCOC-132 link, in a file named for January to July 2025, opens a B.Com (General) booklet for 2025-26 labelled First Semester, although BAMSME studies BCOC-132 in Semester 3.
9. Titles spelled two ways, and this store’s own shelves. The prospectus prints “Institutional Supprot to MSME” and “Principals of Marketing”; the notification repeats “Principals”. The prospectus prints “English at workplace” and “Business Organization”, while the ignou.ac.in page and the BCOC-132 booklet print “English at Work Place” and “Business Organisation”. On shrichakradhar.com itself, BAMSME books and guess papers still sit on shelves labelled with the older BAVMSME name, there is no BAMSME solved-assignment shelf, and a BPCM-161 solved listing names BAMSME among its programmes although BPCM-161 is not in the prospectus BAMSME structure. Those in-house points have been sent for correction.
The practical reading of all nine is short. Use your admission record for the list of codes and titles you owe, use the booklet for each code for its questions and its header, and use the calendar printed in that same booklet rather than a date read off a different school’s paper. If a booklet on ignou.ac.in names a different programme on its cover, confirm with your study centre that it is the paper to write before the set is written.
Three Schools, Three Calendars: The BAMSME Cut-Off Dates
Most IGNOU programmes give one pair of dates for every assignment. BAMSME cannot, because its papers are issued by different schools and each school prints its own rule. The table below sets out what each booklet opened for this page actually says. It covers only the papers whose booklets were read; for every other BAMSME code, the date is whatever that code’s own booklet prints.
| Paper and issuing school | How the booklet labels the cycle | Dates printed | Assignment code printed |
|---|---|---|---|
| BERC-131, SOVET (July 2025 and January 2026 Sessions) | By session | July 2025 session: 30 September 2025. January 2026 session: 31 March 2026 | None; question page reads “Course Code: BERC131” |
| BERC-132, SOVET (January 2026 and July 2026 Sessions) | By session | January 2026 session: 31 March 2026. July 2026 session: 30 September 2026 | None; question page reads “Course Code: BERC132” |
| BEDSV-101, SOEDS (January 2026 Session to July 2026 Session) | By admission | January 2026 admission: 30 September 2026. July 2026 admission: 31 March 2027 | None; the response sheet asks for an assignment number |
| BCOC-132, SOMS (B.Com General booklet, 2025-26) | By term-end examination | December 2025 examination: 15 October 2025. June 2026 examination: 15 March 2026 | BCOC-132/TMA/2025-26 |
| BCOC-131, SOMS (BCOMOL booklet, 2024-25, lapsed) | By term-end examination | December 2024 examination: 15 October 2024. June 2025 examination: 15 March 2025 | BCOC-131/TMA/2024-25 |
Slide sideways to read all four columns on a phone.
The easiest way to use this table is to begin from the examination you intend to sit, not from the session name. If you are heading for the December 2026 term-end examination, the SOVET booklet for BERC-132 says 30 September 2026 for the July 2026 session, and the SOEDS booklet for BEDSV-101 says 30 September 2026 for a January 2026 admission. Both land on 30 September 2026 for the same exam, even though they describe it with different session names. The SOMS commerce papers follow their own October date for a December exam; the 2025-26 BCOC-132 booklet printed 15 October 2025, and the 2026-27 booklet for your paper will print its own day, which you should read off it rather than assume.
For the June 2027 examination, the same logic points to 31 March 2027 on the SOVET and SOEDS papers and a mid-March date on the SOMS papers. Every one of these booklets adds a phrase such as “or as notified by the University” or “if not extended by University”, and IGNOU has in past cycles extended the last date for all programmes by a notice on its website. No extension is assumed on this page. If one is announced, it appears on ignou.ac.in, and that notice outranks anything printed in a booklet or repeated on a third-party site.
The BERC-132 date of 30 September 2026 falls within days of this page being written. That is a real IGNOU deadline, not a sales device, and nothing here suggests a set can reach you before it. If your cut-off is close, say so in your first message and ask for the delivery estimate to your pin code before deciding anything.
Papers also expire. Each BAMSME booklet names the cycles it serves, the SOMS papers print a validity window from 1 July to 30 June, and a paper from a lapsed window is replaced by a new one with new questions. The SOVET booklets go further and tell learners, whatever the year and session of their registration, to write the latest assignment uploaded on the website. A set is therefore written against the paper current for your code when you order, and the copy of that paper travels in the parcel so you can see which one was used.
What to Copy Onto Page One When the BERC Paper Prints No Assignment Code
Learners coming from the B.Com or the MBA expect an assignment code of the kind the SOMS papers print, a string such as BCOC-132/TMA/2025-26 that names the course, the paper type and the cycle. The SOVET papers for BAMSME do not print one. The BERC-131 and BERC-132 booklets carry the course code on the question page, written without a hyphen as BERC131 and BERC132, and the session line on the cover. That is all.
So a BAMSME assignment code has three different answers depending on the paper. For a SOMS commerce paper, copy the assignment code printed under the course title, exactly as printed, including the year span. For a SOVET BERC paper, write the course code as it appears on your admission record, which the prospectus grid prints as BERC-131, and add the session line from the booklet cover, for example “July 2025 and January 2026 Sessions”, so the evaluator can tell which paper you answered. For the SOEDS Value Education paper, the response sheet asks for an assignment number that the booklet itself never prints; the course code BEDSV-101 with the session line from the cover is the nearest honest entry, and your study centre can tell you if it prefers another form.
None of these is a format invented for this page. They are the fields each booklet asks for, filled from what the booklet itself prints. Where a study centre issues its own cover sheet, its instructions govern, and the free front page in your parcel is a starting point you can check against them.
The header fields differ by school too, as the envelope section above notes. A SOVET page one wants your name, your enrolment number with year and session, the course title and the course code. A SOEDS page one wants seven lines including your address, the study centre and the date. Filling the SOEDS layout on a BERC paper is not wrong in any stated rule, but copying the booklet you are actually answering is the safer habit.
Your Own Hand, Matched From One Photographed Page
The SOVET booklets for BERC-131 and BERC-132 ask learners to write in their own handwriting, and the SOEDS booklet for BEDSV-101 says the same. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. The sample of the writer’s hand is shared with you on WhatsApp before any payment, so the look of the set is settled before money changes hands, not after the parcel opens.
Matching covers what an eye notices first: letter shapes, slant, spacing between words, the way numerals and headings are written. It does not change the content of the answers or the declaration you sign. A BAMSME learner with a full semester of four papers usually wants all four in one consistent hand, and naming every code in the same order keeps them together.
Taking the Sample Photo
Use a page of ordinary running writing, not a single signed line, and include at least a few sentences with capital letters and numbers. Photograph it flat, in daylight, with the whole page in the frame and no shadow across the lines. A page in the same ink colour you use for study is the most useful. If you tend to write differently on plain and ruled paper, mention which paper the photo shows, because the BERC booklets allow either plain or ruled A4.
On layout, the BERC booklets ask for A4 plain or ruled paper, written on both sides with a margin, with the question number written beside each answer. One study centre’s own rule sheet for IGNOU learners asks for writing on the front side of each sheet only. If your study centre follows a one-side rule, say so when you order so the set is laid out to match what your coordinator expects, and check the layout rule with the centre itself if you are unsure.
English Medium, Language Papers, Old Sessions and Backlogs
BAMSME is offered in English medium only, according to section 5.18 of the Common Prospectus, the ignou.ac.in programme page and launch notification No. 152. That settles the medium for almost every paper. The exception is the Semester 3 ability enhancement slot, where the learner picks one of four language papers: BEGAE-182 English Communication Skills, BHDAE-182 Hindi Bhasha, BUDAE-182 Urdu or BSDAE-182 Sanskrit. The Hindi Bhasha booklet linked on IGNOU’s BAMSME index is itself a Hindi paper, and a language paper is answered in the language it teaches.
The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. If your language paper is BUDAE-182 or BSDAE-182, name it in your first message so that a writer for that script is confirmed before payment; the price does not change.
Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. BAMSME is young, admitting its first learners from the July 2024 session under notification No. 152, so a BAMSME backlog usually means a Semester 1 to 4 paper carried over from an earlier batch rather than a paper from a retired syllabus. Two backlog cases need care. The first is BCOC-131, where the link on IGNOU’s BAMSME page led to a lapsed 2024-25 BCOMOL booklet at the time of checking; order against the current paper for your registration. The second is the Semester 5 and 6 minors, where the code you owe may read BERM-161 or BERM-162 on a recent record but BERE-142 or BERG-172 on a list printed at launch. Send the code from your own admission record, and the set follows the booklet IGNOU currently issues for it.
The SOEDS booklet adds a rule every backlog learner should know: an assignment that falls below the pass grade of 40 per cent has to be submitted again, and one that passes cannot be resubmitted to improve the grade. That line comes from the BEDSV-101 paper; check your own booklet for the equivalent rule on other codes.
The Five Facts a BAMSME Order Needs on WhatsApp
An order starts with a message to +91 93546 37830, and five facts are enough to begin. Nothing else is needed at the quote stage, and no document upload is asked for.
- Your course codes, copied from your admission record, for example BERC-132, BCOE-141, BCOS-185 and BCOS-183 for Semester 4.
- The session or examination you are writing for, for example the December 2026 term-end examination, so the right paper is used when two cycles overlap.
- Your Semester 3 language choice, if BEGAE-182, BHDAE-182, BUDAE-182 or BSDAE-182 is in the order.
- A photo of your own handwriting, if you want the set matched to it.
- Your delivery pin code, so the delivery estimate can be confirmed before you pay.
If you already hold the booklet you were given at your study centre and it differs from the one on ignou.ac.in, send a photo of its cover as well. With the BCOC links on IGNOU’s BAMSME page pointing at other programmes’ papers, the booklet in your hand may be the more reliable copy. Send the five BAMSME details in one WhatsApp message.
A full BAMSME semester, one message, four sets in one hand.
₹320 per subject, courier included, any session including backlogs. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.
When the BAMSME Parcel Arrives: Checks Before the Study Centre
Open each set against its own question paper. The copy of the TMA paper in the parcel is there so you can match question numbers and the session line without going back online. For a BERC paper, confirm that five of the seven questions are answered and that each answer carries its question number, as the booklet asks. For a BCOC paper, confirm all three sections are present. For BEDSV-101, confirm all five essays are there.
Then read it. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. Complete the front page in the layout your booklet asks for, add anything your study centre requires, such as a photocopy of your identity card where it asks for one, and hand the set to the coordinator of the study centre allotted by your Regional Centre. The BERC booklets ask you to keep a copy, and a phone scan of every page before you submit costs nothing.
Ask for a receipt when you submit. Evaluation and the award of marks happen at the study centre under IGNOU’s rules, and the result reaches your grade card through IGNOU’s own systems. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.
If something in the set does not match your booklet, for example an answer written to a question from the other session’s paper, raise it on WhatsApp with a photo of the page and of your booklet, before you submit rather than after.
Books, Guess Papers and Other Shelves for BAMSME Codes
A handwritten set covers the 30 per cent. The other 70 per cent is the term-end examination, and the store keeps its BAMSME reading material under the older programme name, so it is worth knowing where to look. Course books for the BERC, BERE and commerce papers sit on the BAVMSME-labelled book shelf, where BAMSME course books are currently filed, and revision sets are on the matching page of BAVMSME guess papers for the term-end examination.
The shared slots have their own shelves because other programmes study the same codes. BEVAE-181 and the Semester 3 language papers are among the ability enhancement books for Environmental Studies and the language papers; BCOS-183, BCOS-184 and BPAS-184 appear among the skill enhancement course books; and BEDSV-101 is on the shelf of value-added course books such as Value Education. For past term-end questions, the store’s solved previous year papers are listed by course code.
Two confusions come up often enough to deserve a link each. BAM, IGNOU’s Bachelor of Arts (Multidisciplinary), is a different programme from BAMSME despite the shared first letters, and its learners should use the BAM handwritten product instead of this one. And anyone who needs a set for a programme not covered by a dedicated product can start from the all-programme handwritten assignment shelf.
If you would rather write the whole set yourself, ignouproject.com, the publisher’s editorial site, explains the method in a step-by-step guide to writing an IGNOU assignment by hand.
Straight Answers on BAMSME Papers, Dates and Format
What does BAMSME stand for, and is it the same as BAM or BAVMSME?
BAMSME is the Bachelor of Arts (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), a SOVET programme launched from the July 2024 session under IGNOU notification No. 152. BAM is the Bachelor of Arts (Multidisciplinary), a different programme with different papers. BAVMSME is the older BA (Vocational Studies) Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, which shares the BERC and BERE code family with BAMSME; if your admission record says BAVMSME, tell the publisher so, because your Semester 5 and 6 papers may differ.
How many BAMSME assignments are there in total?
The July 2026 prospectus grid has 23 course slots across six semesters: three in Semester 1 and four in each of the other five. Every booklet opened for this page, from three schools, sets one 100-mark assignment per course, so a learner who completes the degree writes 23 assignments. At ₹320 per subject, a four-paper semester comes to four subjects.
What is the BAMSME assignment last date for the December 2026 exam?
For BERC-132, the SOVET booklet prints 30 September 2026 against the July 2026 session. For BEDSV-101, the SOEDS booklet prints 30 September 2026 against a January 2026 admission, which is the batch sitting the December 2026 exam. The SOMS commerce papers use a mid-October date for a December exam; read your 2026-27 BCOC booklet for its exact day. Any university-wide extension would be announced on ignou.ac.in.
Why do the BERC and Value Education papers give opposite dates for the same session name?
SOVET labels a cycle by the session whose assignments fall due in the same calendar year, so its July 2026 session is due on 30 September 2026. SOEDS labels by admission batch, so its July 2026 admission is due on 31 March 2027. The dates are the same pair; the names attached to them are reversed. Work from the examination you plan to sit and both booklets agree.
The BERC paper has seven questions. Must all seven be answered?
No. The cover note on BERC-131 and BERC-132 says the assignment has five questions, but the question page prints seven and says to answer any five, each worth 20 marks. A handwritten set for a BERC code answers five, as the question page asks.
A BERC booklet shows no assignment code. What goes on the cover?
The SOVET booklets print only the course code and the session line. Write the course code as it appears on your admission record, BERC-131 for example, and copy the session line from the booklet cover so the evaluator can see which paper you answered. SOMS papers such as BCOC-132 do print an assignment code, BCOC-132/TMA/2025-26 on the 2025-26 paper, which you copy exactly.
Can a typed or printed BAMSME assignment be submitted?
The booklets say no. The SOVET papers state that only hand written assignments are accepted, and the SOEDS paper for BEDSV-101 says you should not send typed assignments. A printed copy of any answers, whether from a solved file or typed at home, does not meet either instruction.
Can a printed BAMSME solved assignment PDF be handed in?
Not under the booklet rules quoted above, because a printed PDF is typed work. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers; the thing you hand in is a handwritten set. If a reference file is all you need, the store’s bachelor’s solved-assignment shelf lists files by course code.
Should a BAMSME learner buy a solved assignment or a handwritten set?
It depends on your time, not on the paper. If you can write 23 assignments yourself over three years, a solved file is a cheaper reference to write from. If writing time is the problem, a handwritten set is the object your study centre receives. No solved file is sold on this page, and a handwritten set does not replace reading the course.
The booklet says to write in your own handwriting. Where does that leave a handwritten set?
The instruction is IGNOU’s, and this page quotes it so you read it before ordering. The set can be matched to your hand from a sample photo, but the responsibility for what you submit stays with you. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course.
Is BAMSME available in Hindi medium?
No. The prospectus, the ignou.ac.in programme page and notification No. 152 all give English as the only medium. The one exception inside the programme is the Semester 3 language slot, where BHDAE-182 Hindi Bhasha is a Hindi paper answered in Hindi, and BUDAE-182 and BSDAE-182 are Urdu and Sanskrit papers.
Does BAMSME have a project or dissertation?
Not in the July 2026 prospectus grid. All 23 slots are taught courses with assignments and term-end examinations, and none is a project, dissertation or internship course. If a senior tells you otherwise, compare against the grid on your own admission record.
An old list shows BERE-142 or BERG-172 as the minor. Which code should be ordered?
Order the code on your own admission record. Launch notification No. 152 listed BERE-142 Documentation for MSMEs and BERG-172 HRM and Industrial relation in MSMEs as the Semester 5 and 6 minors; the July 2026 prospectus lists BERM-161 and BERM-162 in those slots. Your record, not an older list, decides which booklet applies.
The BCOC-131 link on IGNOU’s BAMSME page opens a B.Com paper. Is it the right one?
At the time of checking, that link opened a BCOMOL booklet valid only to 30 June 2025, and the BCOC-132 link opened a B.Com (General) 2025-26 booklet labelled First Semester. BCOC-131 and BCOC-132 are shared codes, so a commerce booklet can be the correct paper, but a lapsed one is not. Use the current booklet for your cycle, and confirm with your study centre if the programme named on the cover worries you.
What happens if a BAMSME assignment fails?
The SOEDS booklet for BEDSV-101 says an assignment below the 40 per cent pass grade must be submitted again, and one that passes cannot be resubmitted to improve the grade. For a resubmission, order against the paper current at that time, since the SOVET booklets ask for the latest uploaded assignment whatever your registration year.
How the BAMSME Details on This Page Were Checked
From the prospectus. Programme structure, codes, titles, credits, medium and exit points come from section 5.18 of the IGNOU Common Prospectus July 2026. The semester credits were summed to 120 before the tables were written. The launch position, including the original minor codes, comes from Academic Programme Launch Notification No. 152, and the programme page comparison from the BAMSME page on ignou.ac.in.
From the live booklets. Dates, question patterns, header fields and paper instructions were read directly off the SOVET BERC-131 booklet, the SOVET BERC-132 booklet, the SOEDS Value Education booklet and the two SOMS commerce booklets linked from IGNOU’s BAMSME assignment index. Current papers for every code are on IGNOU’s assignment download service. Where the documents disagree, the disagreement is reported above instead of being resolved by guesswork.
