IGNOU BAFJDM Handwritten Assignment: Every BNM Code, BNM-026/126 and BNM-037 Included. The template’s dash is replaced with a colon under your no-dash rule.

Original price was: ₹500.00.Current price is: ₹320.00.

This is the IGNOU BAFJDM handwritten assignment: the Tutor Marked Assignment for any course code of the Bachelor of Arts (Journalism and Digital Media), from BNM-021 to BNM-140 including the paired BNM-026/126 paper and the unlisted BNM-037, written by hand for the January 2026 and July 2026 cycle or any older one, at ₹320 per subject as a hard copy with courier included.

  • Thirty per cent of each BNM course rides on one bundle of paper. Every 2026 BNM booklet prints a 30% weightage, and a paper that never reaches your Study Centre Coordinator leaves that share of the result empty.
  • No second-guessing which paper is yours. Each set follows the question paper IGNOU printed for your own code and cycle, including the BNM-026/126 booklet that the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists only as BNM-126.
  • You see the writer’s hand before you pay anything. A photo of a real handwritten page reaches you on WhatsApp first. Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge.
  • The cover sheet and the question paper travel with the answers. A free IGNOU-format front page and a copy of the official TMA paper for that code come in the same packet.
  • Pending BNM papers cost the same as current ones. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.
  • Order the one code you are short on, or the full year. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. BEVAE-181 and BNME-001 are ordered the same way.
  • Dates taken from IGNOU’s paper, not from a forwarded message. The 2026 BAFJDM booklets print 31 March for the June term-end examination and 30 September for the December one.
  • A price that stays fixed once you have the codes. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Description

In short. An IGNOU BAFJDM handwritten assignment is the Tutor Marked Assignment for one course of the Bachelor of Arts (Journalism and Digital Media), the English-medium four-year programme run by the School of Journalism and New Media Studies (SOJNMS), answered by hand and handed over as paper to the Coordinator of your Study Centre. Shri Chakradhar Publication writes that set one course code at a time: the ten BNM discipline papers from BNM-021 to BNM-140, the four BNM vocational papers, BNM-037 Marketing Communication, which has a live 2026 booklet but no row in the prospectus, and the interdisciplinary, ability, value-added and skill papers that a BAFJDM record can carry. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Every 2026 BNM booklet opened for this page prints 31 March for the June term-end examination and 30 September for the December one. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent.

What Lands at Your Door for Each BNM Code

For every code on your order, the courier packet holds three things. The first is the answer set itself: the questions on your paper answered by hand in ink on A4, one set per code, with each answer numbered exactly as the booklet numbers its question, so that a BNM-025 set follows the same five-part order as the BNM-025 paper and a BNM-026/126 set follows the five questions printed under that paired code.

The second is an IGNOU-format front page, supplied free. It is laid out for the fields the SOJNMS covering letter names on page one of every BAFJDM booklet: enrolment number, name, address, assignment code and study centre code. The covering letter on the BNME-001 Philosophy of Swami Vivekananda paper asks for one more field, the regional centre code, so the front page leaves room for it on every code rather than only on that one.

The third is a printed copy of the official question paper for that code and that cycle. Keeping the paper with the answers matters more on this programme than on most, because several BNM codes have been printed under two numbers and at least one course title has been spelt three different ways in IGNOU’s own files. With the question paper inside the packet, you can check in one glance that the answers in your hand belong to the paper your Study Centre expects.

No soft copy or PDF is sold. What the packet deliberately leaves blank is everything that has to come from you: your name, enrolment number, signature and the submission date. Those go onto the front page in your own hand after you have read the set. If you order several codes together, each set is written against the same sample photo you sent, so a bundle of BNM-021, BNM-023 and BNM-025 reads as one person’s work from the first page to the last.

The ₹320 Figure, Line by Line: Inside It and Outside It

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Inside that figure sit the handwritten answers for one course code, the free front page, the copy of the question paper and the courier to your address. There is no packing charge, no charge for matching the handwriting and no surcharge for an older cycle.

There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. On BAFJDM that matters because learners rarely hold the same set of codes in the same year. One learner may be short only on BNM-029 Audio Podcast after re-registration; another may need the whole first-year bundle, which the covering letter itself counts as eight courses. Both pay the same per code.

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For this programme the prospectus records English as the medium of instruction, so almost every BAFJDM paper is an English paper.

What the rate does not cover is just as specific. It does not include any IGNOU fee, examination fee or re-registration fee, which are paid to the university and never through this store. It does not include the eighth-semester Project or Dissertation worth 12 credits, which sets no Tutor Marked Assignment at all. It does not include the facts that some 2026 BNM questions ask you to gather yourself, such as an accident report collected from a nearby police station for BNM-024 or a visit to a Ramakrishna Mission centre suggested by BNME-001; those have to come from you. And it does not include a delivery date. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Printed Solved File or Inked BNM Set: Picking the Right One

Two different products answer the same BNM questions, and learners searching for one often land on the other. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for a course code and a session, bought to read and to write your own answers from. A handwritten assignment is the answers written out by hand on A4 and submitted in hard copy at the Study Centre. The first is study material. Only the second is a submission.

On a small screen, swipe the comparison sideways to read the right-hand column.

What IGNOU’s own BAFJDM booklets say about submission is narrower than most websites suggest. The covering letter on the 2026 BNM papers tells you to submit to the Coordinator of your Study Centre within the stipulated time, to mention your enrolment number, name, address, assignment code and study centre code on the first page, to obtain and retain a receipt, and to keep a photocopy. Its presentation note ends with the instruction to write down the final version, writing each answer neatly. Not one BAFJDM file opened for this page contains a sentence about typed work, paper size or handwriting as such.

The handwriting rule comes from elsewhere in the same school and from the study centres. The 2025 booklet for MNM-001, a paper in SOJNMS’s Post Graduate Diploma in Electronic Media, adds a line the BAFJDM letter lacks: “Only handwritten assignments will be accepted.” Rule sheets published by IGNOU study centres state the same thing in their own words, that typed submissions are not accepted. The practical reading for a BAFJDM learner is simple: the paper you hand over should be written by hand, and a printout of a downloaded file should never be handed in as your assignment.

If what you actually want is the reference file to write from, the store keeps course-wise IGNOU BAFJDM solved assignment files among the bachelor’s degree solved shelves, BNM codes included. This page does not sell a solved assignment, and nothing bought here arrives as a PDF.

All Ten BNM Discipline Papers, Plus the Four Vocational Ones

Section 5.11 of the IGNOU Common Prospectus July 2026 lists ten Discipline Specific Courses for BAFJDM, each worth 6 credits, which sums to 60 credits. That total matches the shared rule printed for every four-year undergraduate programme, under which the discipline category carries 60 credits in six-credit courses. The same section lists four vocational courses at 4 credits each, all carrying the BNM prefix. The table below gives every one of them as the prospectus titles it, with a note wherever a live booklet, an examination paper or the eGyanKosh course library prints something different.

Slide the code table left on a phone for the final column of booklet notes.

Read the numbering closely and the pattern is odd. Four discipline codes keep a zero-series number (021, 023, 025, 029) while six sit in a hundred-series (126, 130, 131, 132, 139, 140). IGNOU’s other documents show that at least two of the hundred-series codes have a zero-series twin. The 2026 booklet for Media Ethics and Regulations is headed BNM 026/BNM126, and its assignment code line reads BNM-026/126. The December 2025 term-end paper for the same course prints BNM-026/BNM-126, and the eGyanKosh course library files its study blocks under BNM-026 in Semester III. Persuasive Communication Strategies behaves the same way: the prospectus says BNM-130, the 2025 booklet and the name of the 2026 file say BNM-030, and both 2025 term-end papers print the pair. A learner whose record shows either number answers one and the same paper, and the set is written against it at the single ₹320 rate, not twice.

The structure around these codes is the standard four-year template. A learner who leaves after the first year with 40 credits plus a 4-credit vocational course receives a UG Certificate; after the second year, 80 credits plus 4 earns a UG Diploma; 120 credits after three years earns the Degree with Major; and 160 credits after four years earns the Degree with Honours, or Honours with Research. The eighth semester carries a Project or Dissertation worth 12 credits, or two or three Major courses worth the same 12 credits. The vocational slots are Minor-1, Minor-2 and Minor-6, which is why three vocational courses count towards the degree, and why an extra 4-credit vocational course matters to a learner planning an early exit.

One gap in the prospectus is worth knowing before you order. The table heading promises courses for the first to eighth semester, yet only ten discipline codes are printed, enough for three years. The template needs fourteen discipline courses across four years, and the shared rules state that fourth-year course details will be provided subsequently. Until IGNOU publishes those codes, no page can honestly list them, this one included. If your record already shows a fourth-year code, send it exactly as printed and the set follows your paper.

Interdisciplinary, Ability, Value-Added and Skill Papers on a BAFJDM Record

A BAFJDM record is not all BNM. The template adds one interdisciplinary course of 6 credits in the first semester, two ability enhancement courses of 4 credits each in the second and third semesters, one value-added course of 6 credits, four skill enhancement courses of 4 credits each and three discipline-based minor courses from a subject other than journalism. Section 5.11 prints the interdisciplinary, ability and value-added lists in full for BAFJDM; for skill and minor papers it points back to the shared lists on pages 164 to 167. Every one of these papers sets its own Tutor Marked Assignment, and every one is ordered here at the same rate as a BNM code.

The fourth column shows the category; drag the table if it is cut off.

BEVAE 181 is not a free choice. The structure template writes it into the second semester by name as the first ability enhancement course, so almost every BAFJDM learner will need a set for it at some point. The second ability course is a language paper, and here the prospectus prints the Hindi option’s title in Devanagari, which is why the table gives a plain-English description in brackets rather than an invented transliteration. If you have chosen a language paper, send the medium printed on your own question paper along with the code.

For the study books behind these shared papers, the store keeps separate shelves: interdisciplinary course guides for the new BA syllabus, ability enhancement books such as BEVAE 181, value-added course books including BNME 001 and the skill enhancement paper guides that match the shared list of twenty-four skill codes, BMPS 183 Employability and AI Skills among them.

Where BAFJDM’s Own Paperwork, and This Store, Disagree

Reading the July 2026 prospectus against the 2025 and 2026 BNM booklets, the term-end papers and the eGyanKosh library turns up twelve disagreements. None of them changes what you answer, since the question paper for your code and cycle always governs, but several change what you write on the front page, and one of them concerns this store’s own listings. Each one is disclosed below rather than quietly smoothed over.

Twelve disagreements found by reading IGNOU’s own BAFJDM files, and this store’s listings, against each other.

1. Media Ethics and Regulations is BNM-126 in the prospectus, BNM-026/126 on the 2026 booklet, BNM-026/BNM-126 on the December 2025 term-end paper and BNM-026 in the eGyanKosh library. It is one course and one paper.

2. Persuasive Communication Strategies is BNM-130 in the prospectus and BNM-030 on the 2025 booklet and in the name of the 2026 file, while both 2025 term-end papers print the pair.

3. BNM-037 Marketing Communication has a live 2026 booklet, numbered Assignment – 16, and no row anywhere in section 5.11.

4. BNM-025 is titled Journalistic Writings in the prospectus, Types of Journalistic Writings on the 2025 booklet and in eGyanKosh, and Types of Journalistic Writing on the 2026 booklet.

5. BNM-022 is Techniques of Reporting in the prospectus and Reporting Techniques on the 2025 booklet.

6. The programme is BAFJDM in the prospectus, but the 2023 and 2025 booklets, the assignment folder on IGNOU’s server and the coordinators’ email address all use BAJDM, and the 2026 papers print BAJDM/BAFJDM.

7. The 2025 covering letter asks for one assignment in each of the eight theory courses of the first year; the 2026 letter drops the words first year and speaks of eight theory courses for the programme, on a set of files whose own numbering reaches Assignment – 16.

8. The BNM covering letters list five front-page fields, while the BNME-001 letter from the same coordinators adds the regional centre code as a sixth.

9. In the prospectus, a list of ten sociology BSOC courses is printed inside the BAFJDM section, just above the BAFJDM course table, while the BAFSO heading directly before it carries no table at all. Both lists sum to 60 credits, so credit arithmetic alone cannot expose the misplacement; only the prefixes do.

10. The shared rules say the value-added course is on offer only in the first semester; the structure template printed beside BAFJDM places it in the second.

11. The interdisciplinary Hindi paper BHDG 175 is spelt Madhyakaneen in the BAFJDM table and Madhyakaleen in the shared list on page 164 of the same prospectus.

12. On this store: the BNM 25 solved-assignment listing names the course a fourth way, TYPES OF JOURNALISTIC WRITINGS, and several older solved-assignment pages on shrichakradhar.com still quote handwritten sets at ₹350 or ₹300 with a working-day delivery figure. Those listings are queued for correction, and this page governs wherever they disagree with it.

The practical rules that follow from the list are short. Write the course code as your registration record shows it and the assignment code exactly as the paper prints it, so a learner registered for BNM-126 who answers the paired paper can show BNM-026/126 on the assignment code line without contradicting either document. Put the regional centre code on the front page even for a BNM paper that does not ask for it; an extra correct field costs nothing. And treat any course title on a third-party page, this store’s older listings included, as a label, not an authority.

31 March and 30 September: The SOJNMS Pair on Every 2026 BNM Paper

Every 2026 BAFJDM booklet opened for this page prints the same due-date line: 31st March for the June term-end examination and 30th September for the December term-end examination, followed by the words “Please check the website for the latest update on due date.” Unlike the School of Management Studies, which prints 31 October and 30 April on its papers, SOJNMS ties each date to the examination it feeds rather than to the admission cycle. A July 2026 learner who plans to sit the December 2026 examination is therefore working to 30 September 2026, and a learner aiming at June 2027 is working to 31 March 2027.

The older files show how the line has changed. The file carrying the July 2023 and January 2024 papers printed 31st March 2024 / 30th September 2024; the 2025 compiled file printed 31st March 2025 / 30th September 2025. The 2026 papers dropped the year and replaced it with the examination it serves. The pair of months has not moved in three years of files.

Each 2026 BNM paper is marked for January 2026 and July 2026 together, so one paper serves both admission cycles of the year, and it expires when IGNOU publishes the next set. That is why the packet includes a copy of the exact paper the answers were written against, and why a set written for a 2025 paper is not interchangeable with a 2026 one: the 2025 papers offered internal choice and word limits of 500, 250 and 150 words, while the 2026 papers opened for this page ask five compulsory questions of 20 marks each.

Why a Forwarded 31 October Date Is Not on Your Paper

Search for a BAFJDM last date and other figures appear. One education portal gives 31 October 2026 as the last date for December 2026 assignments; others report June 2026 extensions to 30 April, 31 May or 15 June. Those are university-wide extension notices or a portal’s estimate, not the date printed on a BNM paper. Extensions are real when IGNOU issues them, and when it does they appear on ignou.ac.in. Plan against the printed date and treat an extension as a margin you did not count on.

Decoding the Assignment Code Printed Under Each BNM Title

The assignment code is the line an evaluator uses to match your answers to a paper, and BAFJDM has printed it in five different shapes across the files read for this page. The July 2023 file wrote BNM-021/July23/Jan24. The 2025 file wrote BNM-021 / Jan25/July 25, with the cycles abbreviated. In 2026 the code shrank to the bare course code, BNM-025 or BNM-024, with the cycle printed on the line below as January 2026 & July 2026. Other 2026 papers, BNM-023, BNM-028, BNM-029 and BNM-037 among them, print the same cycle as January 2026 / July 2026 with a slash instead of an ampersand. The value-added paper returned to the compact form, BNME-001/Jan26/Jul 26.

None of these shapes is wrong; each is simply what that file printed. What matters is that the assignment code on your front page matches the paper you answered, character for character, including the pairing on BNM-026/126. The front page supplied with each set carries the code line exactly as your paper prints it, and you can compare the two before you sign.

Two other numbers on the papers are not codes and should not go on the front page as if they were. The label Assignment – 5 under the BNM-025 title, or Assignment – 16 under BNM-037, is IGNOU’s running number for the booklet within the programme’s set. The session line, January 2026 & July 2026, tells you which cycle the paper serves; your own cycle is the one printed on your admission or re-registration record.

A Hand That Looks Like Yours, Built From One Photo

BNM papers ask you to write in more than one register. The 2026 BNM-025 paper wants a news report of about 200 words and a feature story of about 300 words built from the same set of facts; BNM-029 wants a script for a five-minute audio podcast; BNM-037 wants analysis of a real Indian campaign. A set that switches between those registers still has to look like one person wrote it, and that person should be you.

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. The aim is a set whose letter shapes, slant and spacing read like the page you sent. Before you pay anything, a photo of the writer’s page reaches you on WhatsApp so that you can see the hand that will be used.

Taking the Sample Photo

Write a full page in English, the language of your papers, using the pen you would normally use, then photograph it flat in daylight with the whole page inside the frame and no shadow across the lines. A page of continuous writing is more useful than a few isolated words, because joins and spacing only show over several lines. If your paper includes a script or a feature, a paragraph of ordinary prose is still the right sample; the register changes, the hand does not.

English Medium, Old Cycles and BNM Backlogs

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For BAFJDM, both the prospectus programme table and section 5.11 record English as the medium of instruction, and every BNM paper opened for this page is in English. The exceptions are your own choices among the shared papers, such as a Hindi, Sanskrit or Urdu ability enhancement course, where the paper is set in that language.

Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. A pending BNM course is common on this programme because learners move year-wise and can carry a paper forward. Which cycle’s paper applies to a pending course is decided by IGNOU for your enrolment, and the IGNOU assignment download page on ignou.ac.in itself tells learners to check a paper’s validity before downloading. Send the paper you have been told to answer and the set follows that paper, whether it is a 2026 file with five compulsory questions or an older one with internal choice.

BAFJDM also runs as a year-wise programme with both January and July admission cycles, so two learners admitted six months apart can be answering the same 2026 paper against different term-end examinations. The code and the paper are the same; the date on your plan is the one tied to the examination you will actually sit.

What to Message Before Writing Starts

An order needs five details and nothing more. Everything else, including the question paper, is looked up from IGNOU’s own files.

  1. The programme code as your identity card or registration record prints it, BAFJDM or BAJDM.
  2. Every course code you are short on, written as your record shows it, for example BNM-025, BNM-126 or BEVAE-181.
  3. The cycle printed on the paper you must answer, such as January 2026 & July 2026, or an older cycle for a backlog.
  4. The medium of each paper, which for BNM codes is English.
  5. Your delivery pin code, so the courier route can be confirmed before you pay.

Two optional additions make a real difference on this programme. The first is the handwriting photo described above. The second concerns field-based questions: several 2026 papers ask for material only you can supply, such as the name, date and headline of a news story you read today for BNM-024, or facts collected from a local police station or hospital. Answers of that kind should rest on facts you actually gathered, so send them with the order and read those answers with particular care before you sign. Message the five BAFJDM details now.

Five details, one message, every BNM paper on your record.

Once the Parcel Arrives: Review, Cover Page, Receipt

Open the packet and match each set to its question paper before anything else, checking that the code line on the front page is the same as the code printed on the paper, including BNM-026/126 where it applies. Then read every answer. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. On BAFJDM that reading is also useful for the term-end examination, because the 2025 examination papers for BNM-026/126 and BNM-030/130 returned to the same themes the assignments set, from the Right to Information Act to crisis communication.

Next, complete the front page in your own hand: enrolment number, name, address, assignment code, study centre code and the regional centre code. Sign it and date it on the day you submit.

Then hand the set to the Coordinator of your Study Centre, as every BAFJDM covering letter instructs. Ask for a receipt and keep it; the letter says to obtain and retain one, and it is the only proof of submission you will hold. Keep a photocopy of the set as well, which the letter advises. After evaluation, the Study Centre sends your marks to the Student Evaluation Division at IGNOU, New Delhi.

No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.

Most learners who order a handwritten BNM set also prepare for the three-hour term-end paper in the same course, and the store’s BA Journalism and Digital Media help books for BNM courses are arranged by code for that purpose. For revision in the final weeks, the BAJDM solved guess paper shelf collects expected questions with model answers; note that its web address uses the older BAJDM code while its listings say BAFJDM, one more instance of the dual naming described above.

Learners on other programmes as well as this one can compare the full range of handwritten products from the IGNOU handwritten assignment hub for every programme. If you are heading into the fourth year and choosing the 12-credit Project or Dissertation rather than extra Major courses, the hard-copy IGNOU project reports shelf shows how the store handles printed project work, which is sold separately from assignments. And for graduates who continue into the master’s programme run by the same school, there is a separate shelf of MA Journalism and Digital Media books for MAJDM courses.

If you would rather write every BNM answer yourself, the sister site publishes a free step-by-step guide to preparing a handwritten IGNOU assignment, including how different schools word their paper and front-page rules.

BAFJDM Questions Answered Before You Order

Is BNM-026 the same paper as BNM-126, and which code goes on my front page?

Yes, they are one course and one paper. The 2026 booklet for Media Ethics and Regulations is headed BNM 026/BNM126 and prints BNM-026/126 as its assignment code, while the prospectus lists only BNM-126. Copy the assignment code exactly as the paper prints it and keep the course code as your registration record shows it. One set is written for the paired code at ₹320, not two.

My identity card says BAFJDM but the assignment file says BAJDM. Have I downloaded the wrong paper?

No. BAJDM is the older name of the same programme, still used in IGNOU’s assignment folder, on the 2023 and 2025 booklets and in the coordinators’ email address, [email protected]. The 2026 papers print BAJDM/BAFJDM together. Use the programme code on your own record on the front page.

What is the last date to submit BAFJDM assignments for the December 2026 exam?

The 2026 BNM booklets print 30 September for the December term-end examination, which for this cycle means 30 September 2026. The same line tells you to check the website for updates, and any extension IGNOU issues appears on ignou.ac.in. A 31 October figure circulating online comes from a portal’s estimate, not from a BNM paper.

Is the January 2026 BNM paper different from the July 2026 one?

No. Each 2026 BNM paper is marked January 2026 and July 2026 on the same line, sometimes with an ampersand and sometimes with a slash, so one paper serves both cycles. What differs between two learners is the examination each will sit, and therefore whether 31 March or 30 September is the date that applies.

BNM-037 Marketing Communication is not in my prospectus. Can I order it?

Yes. IGNOU has a live 2026 booklet for BNM-037, numbered Assignment – 16 in the BAJDM/BAFJDM set, even though section 5.11 of the July 2026 prospectus has no row for it. If the code is on your registration record, send it and the set follows that booklet at the usual rate.

Can I hand in a printout of a BNM-025 solved assignment instead of writing it?

No. A solved assignment is a reference file to write from, and a printout of it is not a handwritten submission. The BAFJDM covering letter asks you to write down the final version neatly, a sister SOJNMS booklet states that only handwritten assignments will be accepted, and study centre rule sheets say typed work is not accepted.

Do the BAFJDM booklets themselves say the assignment must be handwritten?

Not in so many words. None of the BAFJDM files opened for this page mentions typed work, paper size or handwriting; they say to write the final version neatly and submit it to your Study Centre Coordinator. The explicit handwritten-only line appears on the MNM-001 paper from the same school and on study centre rule sheets.

What is the difference between buying a BNM solved assignment and this handwritten set?

A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference of model answers that you then rewrite yourself. This product is the handwritten set itself, on paper, matched to your own hand, with a free front page and the question paper, delivered by courier for ₹320 per subject. Solved files are sold on a different shelf of the store.

A BNM-024 question asks me to collect facts from a police station. What happens to that answer?

That answer depends on facts you gathered, so send them with your order: the place, the date and what you were told. The answer is then written from your facts. Read it with particular care before signing, since the declaration on the cover page is yours.

I have a pending BNM paper from the 2025 cycle. Which paper will the set follow?

The one you are told to answer. IGNOU decides which cycle’s paper applies to a pending course, and its download page asks learners to check a paper’s validity. The 2025 papers carried word limits and internal choice, and the 2026 ones set five compulsory questions, so name the cycle when you order.

Are BEVAE-181, BNME-001 and the interdisciplinary papers covered, or only BNM codes?

All of them are covered at the same rate. A BAFJDM record includes one interdisciplinary paper such as BEGG 171, two ability enhancement papers starting with BEVAE 181, one value-added paper such as BNME 001, four skill enhancement papers and three minor papers from another discipline, and each sets its own assignment.

Do I really need the four BNM vocational papers?

The degree needs three vocational courses, in the minor slots of the first, second and sixth semesters, and section 5.11 lists four BNM vocational codes to draw them from. A further 4-credit vocational course is also the condition for leaving with a UG Certificate or UG Diploma. Which ones you hold depends on your record, so send the vocational codes shown there.

Should I write the regional centre code on a BNM front page?

Only the BNME-001 letter asks for it, but adding it to every front page costs nothing and keeps all your front pages consistent. The front page supplied with each set leaves a place for it.

How many BAFJDM assignments do I submit in all?

One for every course you are registered in that has a Tutor Marked Assignment. The covering letter mentions eight theory courses, which matches the eight courses of the first year in the structure template, but the 2026 set is numbered up to Assignment – 16 and a full degree runs well beyond eight papers.

Is there a handwritten assignment for the eighth-semester Project or Dissertation?

No. The 12-credit Project or Dissertation sets no Tutor Marked Assignment, and the prospectus notes that practical and project manuals are available only in digital form on eGyanKosh. Project reports are a separate product from assignments.

Why does a course title on my paper differ from the one in the prospectus?

Because IGNOU’s own files spell some BAFJDM titles differently. BNM-025 appears as Journalistic Writings, Types of Journalistic Writings and Types of Journalistic Writing, and BNM-022 as Techniques of Reporting and Reporting Techniques. Follow the title and code printed on the paper you answer.

Where Every Fact on This Page Came From

From the prospectus. The programme name, school, medium of instruction, eligibility, duration, the ten discipline codes, the four vocational codes, the interdisciplinary, ability and value-added lists, the credit values and the exit awards come from section 5.11 of the IGNOU Common Prospectus July 2026, pages 171 to 174, read together with the shared four-year rules and course lists on pages 162 to 167 and the programme table row for BAFJDM. The ten discipline credits were summed to 60 and the semester template to 120 for the Major degree and 160 for Honours before any figure was used. The sociology table printed inside the BAFJDM section was identified by its BSOC prefix and excluded.

From live IGNOU files. The due dates, assignment codes, question patterns and covering-letter fields come from BAFJDM booklets on ignou.ac.in read on 24 September 2026: the 2026 papers for BNM-025, BNM-026/126, BNM-037 and BNME-001 in full, the 2026 papers for BNM-023, BNM-024, BNM-028, BNM-029 and BNM-030 in part, the 2025 compiled BAJDM file and the file for the July 2023 cycle. The paired codes were checked against the June and December 2025 term-end papers and the eGyanKosh library for BAFJDM course blocks. The BNM-026/126 booklet for 2026 is the clearest single example of a paired code, and the programme’s own BAFJDM programme page on ignou.ac.in confirms the programme description.
