What the BAFEG Parcel Holds When It Reaches You

Each code you order becomes its own bundle, kept separate so that BEGC 104 cannot be mistaken for BEGC 107 when you hand the papers across. Inside every bundle are the answers written out by hand against the exact paper for that code and cycle, on the paper size your booklet names, with question numbers written beside each answer as the booklets instruct.

On top sits an IGNOU-format front page, free with every order. For the BEGC and BEGM papers the booklets set out the block you would otherwise copy by hand: enrolment number, name, full address and date at the top right, then course title, assignment number and Study Centre in the centre. The page arrives laid out that way with the identifying fields left for you to complete, because those details are yours to write and yours to check.

Behind the answers is a copy of the official TMA question paper for that code and session. It is there so you can check each answer against the question it claims to answer, and so that a counter clerk who asks which paper you attempted can see it without you opening a phone. No soft copy or PDF is sold. What travels to you is paper in a courier packet, not a download link.

Where ₹320 Starts and Stops for an English Major

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. That figure pays for the writing of one course code against one cycle’s paper, the free front page, the copy of the question paper, the handwriting matching and the courier to your address. It is the same whether the code is a six-credit BEGC core paper or a four-credit skill course such as BEGS 183.

There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. A learner who has cleared BEGC 101 and BEGC 102 but still owes BEVAE 181 and one skill course pays for two subjects, not for a semester. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Several things sit outside the rate. The submission itself is yours: the booklets tell you to hand the assignment in at your Study Centre and take a receipt, and nobody else can do that on your behalf. Fees that IGNOU charges, whether for re-registration or for the term-end examination form, are paid to IGNOU and not here. And a code with no live paper cannot be written, which matters for the fourth-year Honours codes that the prospectus says will be provided later.

Solved Assignment File or Handwritten BAFEG Set: Picking the Right One

Two different things travel under the word assignment, and BAFEG learners searching for help often find the wrong one first. A solved assignment is a soft-copy file of model answers prepared for one course code and one session, opened on a phone or laptop as a reference while you compose answers of your own. A handwritten assignment is those answers written out by hand on the paper your booklet names and handed in as a hard copy at the Study Centre allotted to you.

The BAFEG booklets settle how the set is submitted in their own words. BEGC-105, BEGC-103 and BEGM-161 each tell you that “hand written Assignments should be submitted on time”, and each adds that “You should submit the assignment in your own handwriting.” So a printout of a solved file is not what the paper describes. A solved assignment is a reference to write from; it is not a submission, and nothing on this page suggests that a downloaded file can be handed in.

If a reference file is what you actually want, the BEGC codes are shared with the older BA English Honours programme, and the store files its BEGC solved assignment files on the BAEGH shelf because no separate BAFEG solved-assignment shelf exists. Check that the session printed inside any file matches the booklet you are answering.

The Ten BEGC Papers in IGNOU’s BAFEG Major Table

Section 5.1 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists the Discipline Specific Courses for Bachelor of Arts (English) (BAFEG) under the School of Humanities. It prints ten codes, each carrying six credits, and those ten add up to the 60 credits the prospectus assigns to the discipline-specific category across the three-year major. The table below reproduces those codes and titles, plus one row for BEGC 113, which the table omits but IGNOU’s own assignment page treats as a BAFEG course.

Two gaps in the numbering are worth knowing about. The printed run jumps from BEGC 105 to BEGC 107 and from BEGC 110 to BEGC 112, so BEGC 106 and BEGC 111 are not BAFEG core codes in this edition even though both belong to the older BAEGH run; a live BEGC-111 booklet on ignou.ac.in carries a BAEGH programme line. If either code appears on your registration, the record is right and the order should follow it.

The structure template places one discipline course in each of semesters 1 and 2 and two in each of semesters 3 to 6, which accounts for all ten. BEGC 101 and BEGC 102 head the list. The live BAFEG programme page on ignou.ac.in tags six BEGC codes as Year 1, which does not square with that template; the prospectus template is the document to plan by, and your registration record outranks both.

The fourth year sits outside every table here. The prospectus sets out DSC-11 to DSC-14 and a twelve-credit project or dissertation for the Honours year, but states that the course details for the fourth year will be provided subsequently. When those codes are issued with booklets, the same ₹320 rate applies.

Minor, Skill, Ability and Value Papers Around the English Major

An English major does not study only English. The four-year Bachelor of Arts template in the prospectus fills every semester to 20 credits by adding minor, ability-enhancement, skill-enhancement, interdisciplinary and value-added courses, and each of those codes carries its own assignment booklet. Most of them come from other schools, which means other cut-offs and other question patterns.

The arithmetic closes. Sixty credits of major courses, 24 of minor courses split evenly between vocational and discipline-specific, 8 of ability enhancement, 16 of skill enhancement, 6 of interdisciplinary and 6 of value-added study make 120, which matches both the 120-credit major degree and the six semesters of 20 credits that the template prints. The Honours year adds 40 more, for the 160 credits the prospectus states.

Two rules shape what an English major may pick. The prospectus says the discipline-specific minor has to come from a discipline other than the major, and that the interdisciplinary course has to be other than both the major and the minor disciplines. For a BAFEG learner that removes BEGM 161 to 163 from the minor slot and BEGG 171 from the interdisciplinary slot. Skill courses carry no such restriction, so BEGS 183, BEGS 185 and BEGS 186 remain open to you.

Where the BAFEG Booklets and the Prospectus Part Company

This page was built by reading four BAFEG booklets, the prospectus and the live programme page against each other. They do not agree, and a learner who trusts any one of them alone can plan to the wrong date, the wrong paper size or the wrong code list.

None of these makes a BAFEG handwritten set impossible. Each changes what you tell Shri Chakradhar Publication when you order: the code as your registration prints it, the booklet you downloaded, and the date and paper size printed on that booklet.

Which Cut-Off Applies: 30 March, 31 March or 30 April

IGNOU ties each BAFEG booklet to a term-end examination rather than to a session in the abstract. Learners admitted or re-registered in the July cycle submit for the June examination; those in the January cycle submit for December. The four papers read for this page are set out below.

Two readings follow. First, a BAFEG learner holding BEGC-103 alongside BEGC-105 in the same cycle has two printed June dates a month apart, and the safe plan is to finish both before the earlier one. Second, the dates that School of Management Studies papers are known for, 30 April and 31 October, appear here on a School of Humanities paper, so a date copied from a friend’s MBA or MCOM booklet may happen to match BEGC-103 and still be wrong for BEGC-105.

Papers expire. Each booklet read here is valid for July 2025 and January 2026 only, and IGNOU replaces the questions every cycle. At the time of this review no BAFEG booklet for July 2026 and January 2027 had surfaced on ignou.ac.in, so the next set of cut-offs cannot be stated yet; when the new papers appear, their dates govern and this page will be updated to match. IGNOU also lists a due date against each course code on its Current Assignments download page, and an extension notice published there outranks the date printed on an older booklet.

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. Every BAFEG booklet adds that submitting the assignment is compulsory before you can take the term-end examination, so a missed cut-off costs more than a grade on one paper.

Decoding BEGC-105/2025-26 and BEGC 113/TMA/1/2025-2026

The assignment code is the line an evaluator uses to match your pages to the right paper, and BAFEG uses more than one style of it. BEGC-105 and BEGC-103 print a course code with a two-part session, such as BEGC-103/2025-26, and then head the question page TMA 01/2025-26. BEGC 113 folds everything into one string, BEGC 113/ TMA/1/2025-2026, with a four-digit second year. BEGM-161 prints only BEGM-161/2025-26.

Read the three parts in order. The prefix and number identify the course; TMA with a number identifies which Tutor Marked Assignment it is, and every BEGC paper here has just one; the final pair of years identifies the cycle the paper belongs to. That last part is where learners go wrong, because a 2024-25 paper and a 2025-26 paper for the same code look identical on a download list until you read the years.

Copy the code exactly as your own booklet prints it, spacing included, onto the front page. Where BEGC 113 leaves out the Assignment No line on its cover, the code on its question page is the identifier to use. When you order, send the code as printed; the set is written against that string, and it appears on the free front page the way you supplied it.

Your Own Hand, Copied From One Photo

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. The photo is compared with the writer’s hand, and a sample written in the matched style comes back to you on WhatsApp before any payment is asked for. If the sample does not look right, you say so, and nothing has been spent.

Matching covers the visible features of handwriting: letter slant, size, spacing, how you join letters, and the way you write numerals, which matters on papers that print question numbers like 5×4=20. It does not change the content, which is written against the question paper for your code and cycle.

Taking the Sample Photo That Works

Use one full page of ordinary prose rather than a list, written with the pen you would normally use, photographed straight on in daylight so that the lines are not distorted. A page of English is the useful sample for BEGC and BEGM codes; if you also hold a Hindi minor such as BHDM, send a Devanagari page as well, since your two scripts will differ. Send your handwriting photo with your BAFEG codes.

English Paper, Old Cycles and Backlog BEGC Codes

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For the BEGC and BEGM codes that means English, which is the language of every BAFEG booklet read here and the medium the prospectus programme row records. Where a minor or skill course is issued in Hindi and you registered for it in Hindi, the set follows the paper you hold.

Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. BAFEG was launched with effect from the January 2024 session, so its earliest learners are now in their third year, and a paper left over from 2024-25 or 2025-26 can still be outstanding. A backlog set is written against the booklet of the cycle you name, because the questions change every cycle and your Study Centre expects the paper it has on record for you.

If you are carrying papers across from BAEGH or from the older BAG English courses, check the code carefully. The same BEGC number can appear under a BAFEG cover and under a BA English Honours cover, as BEGC-103 does this cycle with matching questions but different printed dates, so the programme line on the booklet you download should be your own. Ask about BAFEG backlog codes from an earlier cycle.

What to Type Into the WhatsApp Message

Five details are enough to quote and write a BAFEG set, and anything more slows the reply. First, the programme as BAFEG and the session you enrolled or re-registered in. Second, each course code exactly as your registration prints it, such as BEGC 104, BEVAE 181 or BEGS 183. Third, the cycle of the paper you need answered, for example July 2025 and January 2026. Fourth, the paper size your booklet names, foolscap or A4. Fifth, your delivery pin code.

Add the handwriting photo in the same chat if you want the sample back quickly. You do not need to send your enrolment number, marks history or any document from IGNOU to get a quote.

Once the BAFEG Pages Are on Your Desk

Open each bundle and match it to its question paper before anything else: code, cycle and question numbers. Then read every answer. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course.

Complete the front page in your own hand with your enrolment number, name, address, Study Centre and date, and copy the assignment code from your booklet. Keep a photocopy, as every BAFEG booklet advises, and take a receipt from your Study Centre when you hand the set in; the booklets tell you to do both.

Other Shelves BAFEG Learners Open

Handwritten sets cover the assignment half of a course, and the term-end examination carries the larger share, so reading for it matters as much as the assignment. BAFEG Ordering Questions, Answered From the Booklets

What is the last date for the BAFEG assignment for the December 2026 TEE?

Three of the four BAFEG booklets for July 2025 and January 2026 print 30 September for the December examination, and BEGC-103 prints 31 October. If your January 2026 code is BEGC-105, BEGC 113 or BEGM-161, 30 September 2026 is the printed date; if it is BEGC-103, the paper itself says 31 October. The row for your own code on IGNOU’s Current Assignments page overrides both if IGNOU has issued an extension.

Is the BAFEG June-cycle cut-off 30 March or 31 March?

Both appear, and so does 30 April. BEGC-105 prints 30 March 2026 for the July 2025 batch, BEGC 113 and BEGM-161 print 31 March, and BEGC-103 prints 30 April. None of them is a typo you can safely ignore, so plan to the earliest date unless your Study Centre confirms the later one in writing.

Should a BAFEG assignment be written on foolscap or A4 paper?

Whichever your own booklet names. BEGC-105, BEGC-103 and BEGM-161 each say to use only foolscap size paper, while BEGC 113 says to use A4. Mention the size in your order message and it is confirmed with you before any page is written.

Can I submit a printed solved assignment for a BEGC code?

The BAFEG booklets ask for the answers in your own handwriting and say handwritten assignments should be submitted on time, so a printout of a reference file does not match what the paper describes. A solved assignment is something to read while you write; the pages you hand over are a separate, handwritten object.

Is BEGC 113 Modern European Drama part of BAFEG?

IGNOU publishes a BEGC 113 booklet whose cover reads BA English Major Compulsory Course and whose question page prints Programme: BAFEG, yet the BAFEG table in section 5.1 of the July 2026 Common Prospectus lists ten BEGC codes and BEGC 113 is not among them. If BEGC 113 appears on your own registration, a set can be written against that booklet; if it does not, you have no reason to order it.

Can a BAFEG learner take BEGM-161 as a minor?

The prospectus says the discipline-specific minor must come from a discipline other than your major, which would rule out the English BEGM codes for an English major. IGNOU nevertheless heads the BEGM-161 booklet Programme: BA English Major (BAFEG), files BEGM-163 under a BAFEG title, and lists BEGM codes on the BAFEG programme page. Your registration record settles which codes you actually hold; order against that, not against either document.

Is BAFEG offered in Hindi medium?

The programme row in the July 2026 Common Prospectus records English as the medium for BAFEG, while the general Bachelor of Arts Major section a few pages later says English and Hindi, and the live programme page leaves the medium field empty. Every BAFEG booklet read for this page is in English. Hindi-language minors such as BHDM carry their own Hindi papers, which are covered at the same rate.

Do BAFEG and BAEGH students answer the same BEGC-103 questions?

In the 2025-26 cycle, yes. IGNOU issues BEGC-103 under a BAFEG cover and under a separate BA English Honours cover, and the question sets match. The covers differ, and so do the printed cut-offs, so the cover you download should be the one for your own programme.

The BEGC 113 cover has no Assignment No line. What goes on my front page?

The BEGC 113 instruction list asks for Enrolment Number, Name, Address, Date, Course Title and Study Centre, and skips the Assignment No line that BEGC-105, BEGC-103 and BEGM-161 include; its own numbering even jumps from 1 to 3. The assignment code printed on the question page, BEGC 113/ TMA/1/2025-2026, is the identifier to copy on the free front page.

I missed my BEGC papers in an earlier cycle. Can I still order them?

Yes, and the set is written against the paper of the cycle you name. Tell Shri Chakradhar Publication whether you are re-registering against the older booklet or submitting the current one, because the questions change each cycle and your Study Centre will expect the paper it has on record.

Do I have to order every BAFEG code in a semester together?

No. Each semester in the BAFEG template holds four courses carrying 20 credits, but you can order only the codes you are short on, even a single one.

How many assignments does one BEGC code need?

One. Each BEGC booklet read here asks for one Tutor Marked Assignment of 100 marks based on blocks 1 to 4. Minor, skill and ability codes come from other schools and may set their papers differently, so read each booklet on its own terms.

Are fourth-year Honours codes covered?

The prospectus states that the fourth-year course details will be provided subsequently, and no fourth-year BAFEG booklet surfaced during research for this page. A code can only be written once IGNOU has issued its paper, so send the fourth-year code when it appears on your registration.

Will IGNOU accept a handwritten set prepared this way?

No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. Assignment evaluation is entirely a matter for IGNOU.

Three Sources Behind This Page, Kept Apart
