Description
In short. Shri Chakradhar Publication prepares handwritten assignments for IGNOU BAFEC, the Bachelor of Arts (Economics) Major that section 5.6 of the Common Prospectus July 2026 places in the School of Social Sciences (SOSS), across all ten Major papers from BECC-101 to BECE-144 and across the minor, vocational, skill, language and value-added papers that sit around them. The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. Every set is written against the live SOSS booklet for your code, and those booklets do not agree with one another: the 2026 BECC-117 paper prints 30 September 2026 as the last date for the December 2026 term-end examination, while the 2025-26 BECC-118 paper prints 31 October 2026 for that same examination, so the earlier of the two is the safer date to plan against until your Study Centre confirms which one it applies.
What Lands at Your Door for Each BAFEC Code
Each BAFEC course code you order becomes its own bundle. Inside it you find the answers to that code’s Tutor Marked Assignment written out by hand, an IGNOU-format front page that costs nothing extra, and a printed copy of the official TMA paper the answers respond to. Codes are packed separately so that BECC-115 and BECC-116, which a learner may hand in on one visit, never get mixed on the counter at the Study Centre.
The printed question paper is there for a practical reason rather than as a courtesy. A Regional Centre Delhi-2 submission guideline for the June 2025 cycle asks learners to attach a photocopy of the downloaded question paper, and it says in capitals that the question paper must not be attached in handwritten form. A BAFEC learner who copies the questions out by hand to save a printout can end up doing exactly what that guideline forbids. The copy in the packet removes that step.
Economics papers in this programme are not essay-only. The 2025 BECC-115 Intermediate Microeconomics booklet sets a Cobb-Douglas utility function with prices of 10 and 5 and asks for the optimal bundle and the indirect utility function, then asks for the deadweight loss of a monopolist facing a linear demand curve, and later asks for a profit-maximising output from given revenue and cost functions. Those answers carry working, not paragraphs, and they are written with the steps shown, so that the evaluator can follow how each figure was reached. Where a question calls for a diagram, such as the economic region of production on an isoquant map, the diagram is drawn by hand on the same sheet as the answer it belongs to.
No soft copy or PDF is sold. What reaches you is paper, bundled by code, ready for you to read, check and sign.
Inside the ₹320 Per BECC Paper, and Outside It
The single rate covers more than the writing. It includes the front page, the printed TMA paper, the courier to your address and the matching of the handwriting to a sample you send. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. A learner who needs only BECC-118 for a December attempt pays for one paper; a learner catching up on BECC-101, BECC-103, BECC-107 and a skill paper after a gap pays four times the same figure.
Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. That matters more for BAFEC than for most programmes this cycle, because the two December 2026 cut-offs printed on the live SOSS booklets sit a month apart, and the right plan depends on which one your Study Centre follows and how far your pin code is from Delhi.
Some things sit outside the rate because only you can supply them. The same Regional Centre guideline asks for a copy of your IGNOU identity card with each submission; the packet cannot include your identity card, so keep a photocopy ready. The declaration on the front page is yours to sign. Your enrolment number, name, address and Study Centre code go on that page in the form your admission record shows. Submission itself is also outside the rate: nothing in the packet is handed in on your behalf, and the receipt the booklet tells you to obtain has to be collected by you at the counter.
Nothing in the rate buys a result. Assignment evaluation is carried out by the evaluators your Study Centre assigns, and the page makes no statement about how any set will be marked.
BAFEC Solved Assignment or Handwritten Set: Which One Your Study Centre Takes
These two products are easy to confuse because both carry the same course code in the title. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for one course code and one session, bought and read on a screen. A handwritten assignment is those answers written out by hand on A4 sheets and submitted in hard copy at the Study Centre. One is something you read; the other is something you hand in after reading it.
| Point of comparison | Solved assignment (reference) | Handwritten set (this product) |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Soft-copy file on your phone or laptop | Paper, written by hand, bundled per code |
| What you do with it | Read it, then write your own answers from it | Read it, check it, sign the front page, submit it |
| Who it suits | A learner with time to write fourteen answers per paper | A learner who needs the paper form ready for the counter |
| Front page and question paper | Not included | Both included |
| Price line | Priced per code on the solved-assignment shelf | ₹320 per subject, courier included |
On a narrow screen, scroll the table sideways to see all three columns.
IGNOU’s own wording on the BAFEC booklets settles what form is expected. The 2025-26 BECC-118 booklet tells learners that it is important to write answers to all the questions “in your own words”, and states that completed assignments should be submitted to the Coordinator of the Study Centre. The 2025 BECC-115 booklet goes further on presentation: it asks for the final version to be written for submission “writing each answer neatly and underlining the points you wish to emphasize.” Neither booklet mentions a file upload, a printout or a typed answer as the submission form for a BAFEC paper.
That is why a solved assignment has to be treated as a reference and not as the thing you hand in. A downloaded PDF, printed and stapled behind a front page, is not what either booklet describes, and a Regional Centre Delhi-2 guideline for the June 2025 cycle states that assignments must be handwritten and that typed assignments will not be accepted. If what you want is a model answer to study from, the store keeps course-wise solved assignment references for bachelor’s programmes on a separate shelf, and that shelf is the right place for a reading copy. This page sells only the handwritten hard copy. No soft copy or PDF is sold.

The Ten BAFEC Major Papers, BECC-101 to BECE-144
Section 5.6 of the Common Prospectus July 2026 lists the BAFEC Major, which IGNOU calls the Discipline Specific Courses, as ten papers of six credits each. Every one of them is covered here. The table keeps IGNOU’s official titles exactly as the prospectus prints them for BAFEC, and the note column records what the live booklets and the other prospectus tables add to each code.
| Course code | Official title (prospectus, BAFEC table) | Credits | What else IGNOU’s documents show |
|---|---|---|---|
| BECC-101 | Introductory Microeconomics | 6 | The BAM table of the same prospectus prints it as “Introductory Micro Economics” |
| BECC-103 | Introductory Macroeconomics | 6 | Absent from the course list on IGNOU’s BAFEC programme page |
| BECC-107 | Statistical Methods for Economics | 6 | Same code and title in the BAECH and BAM tables |
| BECC-115 | Intermediate Microeconomics | 6 | A BAFEC-only code; the 2025 booklet cover names BAFEC alone |
| BECC-116 | Intermediate Macroeconomics | 6 | A BAFEC-only code; a Hindi 2025-26 booklet is listed on ignou.ac.in |
| BECC-118 | Indian Economy | 6 | 2025-26 booklet cover names BAFEC/BAM; prints assignment code BECC-111 |
| BECC-117 | Development Economics | 6 | 2026 booklet heads it “Development Economics-I” and calls it an elective |
| BECC-110 | Introductory Econometrics | 6 | Same code and title in the BAECH core table |
| BECE-141 | Economics of Health and Education | 6 | Listed as a Discipline Specific Elective in the BAECH table |
| BECE-144 | Financial Economics | 6 | Listed as a Discipline Specific Elective in the BAECH table |
| Total | Ten Major papers | 60 | Matches the 60 credits the prospectus states for this category |
On a narrow screen, scroll the table sideways to see the note column.
The row order is the prospectus’s own, including BECC-118 printed above BECC-117. The arithmetic checks: ten papers at six credits each give 60, which is exactly the credit weightage the general Bachelor of Arts text on page 164 assigns to Discipline Specific Courses. That check matters because prospectus tables in this edition are known to run into each other, and the BAFEC table sits directly below the BAFHI History table on page 169.
Two structural facts separate BAFEC from the older BA (Honours) Economics, BAECH, and they explain why a BAECH booklet cannot be used for a BAFEC code. First, BAFEC compresses what BAECH teaches in two parts. BAECH has Intermediate Microeconomics I and II as BECC-105 and BECC-108, Intermediate Macroeconomics I and II as BECC-106 and BECC-109, Indian Economy I and II as BECC-111 and BECC-113, and Development Economics I and II as BECC-112 and BECC-114. BAFEC replaces each pair with a single new code: BECC-115, BECC-116, BECC-118 and BECC-117. Second, BAFEC carries no mathematical methods paper at all. BECC-102 and BECC-104, Mathematical Methods for Economics I and II, sit in the BAECH core table and nowhere in the BAFEC one, which is worth knowing if the numerical questions on BECC-115 feel steeper than expected.
The prospectus prints no semester against any of the ten codes. The general template assigns one Major paper to each of the first two semesters and two to each of the next four, which accounts for the ten, but it does not say which code falls where. IGNOU’s BAFEC programme page does print semester labels, and they are not usable: it places BECC-101, Introductory Microeconomics, in semester 6. Read the semester of each code off your own admission or re-registration record rather than off any published list, including this one.
A four-year Honours route also exists on paper. The template adds DSC-11 to DSC-14 in the seventh and eighth semesters, plus a twelve-credit project or dissertation, to reach 160 credits, but the prospectus says the fourth-year course details will be provided subsequently, and no BAFEC fourth-year code appears anywhere in the July 2026 edition. If a fourth-year paper reaches you, send its code and it is handled like any other.
Minor, Vocational, Skill and Language Papers Around the Economics Major
The Major accounts for half the degree. The other sixty credits come from categories that BAFEC shares with every Bachelor of Arts Major, and they are ordered at the same ₹320 per subject as the BECC codes. The table groups them the way the prospectus does on pages 164 to 167.
| Category | Codes listed in the prospectus | Credits each | BAFEC requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ability Enhancement | BEVAE-181; then one of BEGAE-182, BHDAE-182, BUDAE-182, BSKAE-182 | 4 | Two papers, in the second and third semesters |
| Value-Added | BEDSV-101 or BNME-001 | 6 | One paper |
| Interdisciplinary | BEGG-171, BHDG-175, BPAG-171, BPCG-171, BPYI-101, BMDG-171, BABG-171, BDIG-171, BSOG-171, BSKG-178 | 6 | One paper, outside the Major and Minor disciplines |
| Vocational | BECS-184, BPAS-184, BHDS-184, BCOS-185, BCOS-186 | 4 | Three papers across six semesters |
| Skill Enhancement | 24 codes, including BMPS-183, BEGS-183, BPCS-183, BSSS-183 and BCOS-183 | 4 | Four papers, in semesters 1, 4, 5 and 6 |
| Discipline Minor | BANM, BHIM, BPSM, BPCM, BSOM, BHDM, BEGM, BPYM, Sanskrit and Urdu sets | 4 | Three papers from one discipline other than Economics |
On a narrow screen, scroll the table sideways to see the requirement column.
The credit count closes at 120 for the three-year Major degree: 60 from the Major, 24 from six Minor and vocational papers, 8 from the two ability papers, 16 from four skill papers, 6 from the interdisciplinary paper and 6 from the value-added paper. The semester template adds the same way, six semesters of 20 credits each. A learner who leaves after the first or second year needs one extra four-credit vocational paper on top, which is why the template writes the exits as 40 plus 4 and 80 plus 4 credits.
One rule in this group trips BAFEC learners more than any other. Page 164 of the prospectus says the discipline-specific minor courses have to come from a discipline other than the Major, and gives a History example. For a BAFEC learner that rules out the Economics minor set, BECM-161 Principles of Microeconomics, BECM-162 Principles of Macroeconomics and BECM-163 Introductory Statistics. IGNOU’s own BAFEC programme page nevertheless lists BECM-161 and BECM-162 among the programme’s courses. If either code appears on your record, confirm it with your Regional Centre before you order a handwritten set for it, because the prospectus rule and the programme page cannot both be right for the same enrolment.
BECS-184 Data Analysis is the reverse case. It is a vocational paper set by the Economics faculty, and the vocational rule allows papers related to the Major, so it sits comfortably inside a BAFEC record. It is also one of the codes that shows up on IGNOU’s BAFEC programme page with its four credits printed correctly.
Where IGNOU’s BAFEC Booklets, Prospectus and Programme Page Contradict Each Other
This section exists because BAFEC is a new programme, launched from the January 2024 session, and its documents have not settled. Three live BAFEC booklets, the July 2026 prospectus, IGNOU’s BAFEC programme page and the assignment portal were read against each other for this page. The box below lists every disagreement found, including the ones on this store.
Read this before you copy anything onto a BAFEC front page. Each point below is a place where two documents from IGNOU, or a document from IGNOU and a page on this store, say different things about the same fact.
1. Two December 2026 cut-offs. The 2026 BECC-117 booklet prints 30 September 2026 for learners appearing in the December 2026 term-end examination. The 2025-26 BECC-118 booklet prints 31 October 2026 for the same examination, and 30 April 2026 for June 2026.
2. BECC-117 carries three different codes. Its cover says BECC-117; its inner heading says “Course Code: BECE-117”; its assignment code line reads BECE-141/AST/TMA/2026, which is the code of a different BAFEC paper, Economics of Health and Education.
3. BECC-117 is titled two ways and classed two ways. The prospectus lists “Development Economics” as a Major course. The booklet’s inner heading reads “Development Economics-I”, which is the BAECH title for BECC-112, and its letter calls BECC-117 an “Elective course”.
4. BECC-118 prints another paper’s code. The 2025-26 BECC-118 Indian Economy booklet gives its assignment code as BECC-111/AST/TMA/2025-26. BECC-111 is Indian Economy I in BAECH.
5. BECC-115 prints no course code in its assignment code. The 2025 booklet’s assignment code reads “Asst /TMA /2024-25”, although the booklet is headed “Assignment 2025”. Its cover says it is for the January 2025 admission cycle, while its schedule addresses learners who took admission in January 2024. The cover also spells the programme “Majores Economics”.
6. One assignment or three. The BECC-115 letter says a six-credit course needs three Tutor Marked Assignments adding up to 100 marks. The BECC-117 and BECC-118 letters say one assignment of 100 marks. The marks split printed inside all three is the same 40, 30 and 30.
7. BECE codes filed as Major courses. The BAFEC table places BECE-141 and BECE-144 under Major (Discipline Specific) Courses. The BAECH table in the same prospectus lists the same two codes as Discipline Specific Electives.
8. IGNOU’s BAFEC programme page does not match the prospectus. It places BECC-101 in semester 6; lists the Economics minors BECM-161 and BECM-162 that page 164 bars an Economics Major from taking; lists BSTM-161 and BSTM-162, which the prospectus prints only among B.Sc. minors; lists Psychology core papers BPCC-108, BPCC-109 and BPCC-110; and omits BECC-103, BECC-110, BECE-141 and BECE-144.
9. The programme is named three ways. The prospectus says “Bachelor of Arts (Economics) (Major/FYUP Hons.)”. The BECC-117 cover says “B.A. Honours (FYUP)”. The BECC-118 cover says “BA Economics (Major)”.
10. The assignment portal index shows one BAFEC paper. The July 2025 to January 2026 FYUG page on webservices.ignou.ac.in lists only BECC-101 under “Economics (BAFEC)/(BAM)”, while the BECC-115, BECC-117 and BECC-118 booklets are live elsewhere on ignou.ac.in.
11. Category credits that double-count on paper. Page 164 describes the Minor category as six courses worth 24 credits and then describes elective and vocational courses as 12 credits each, which read literally would count the same 24 credits twice. The programme total of 120 only works with the 24 counted once.
12. This store’s own pages disagree. Until this product, shrichakradhar.com had no BAFEC handwritten product. Its BECC-118 solved-assignment page offers the handwritten version at ₹350 with an 8 to 10 working day window; the handwritten category page states ₹320 and a 7 to 9 working day window, and gives the founding year as 2012 where other pages give 2010. A guess-paper menu item on the store is labelled “Bachelor of Arts Economics (BAFEC) Philosophy”. The rate on this page is ₹320, and no delivery figure is promised here.
None of these points is a reason to delay. Each has a working answer in the sections that follow: the cut-off section explains how to choose between the two December dates, and the assignment-code section explains which line of a flawed booklet to copy. What they are a reason for is to check the booklet you hold against your admission record before a single answer is written.
September 30 or October 31: The BAFEC Cut-Off Problem for December 2026
For most IGNOU programmes the two submission dates are a settled pair, one for each examination. BAFEC’s live booklets print three dates between them, two of which are for the same December 2026 examination, and all three come from the same School.
The 2026 BECC-117 Development Economics booklet gives one date: 30 September 2026, for learners appearing in the December 2026 term-end examination. The 2025-26 BECC-118 Indian Economy booklet, printed for the July 2025 and January 2026 admission cycles, gives two: 30 April 2026 for the June 2026 examination and 31 October 2026 for December 2026. The 2025 BECC-115 booklet, the older one, gives a single date of 30 September 2025 for learners admitted in January 2024. Separately, a Regional Centre Delhi-2 guideline for the June 2025 cycle states 31 March for June and 30 September for December, if not extended.
So a BAFEC learner appearing in December 2026 with both BECC-117 and BECC-118 on the record can read two different last dates off two booklets issued by the same Economics faculty. The safe plan is to treat the earlier date, 30 September 2026, as the working deadline for every BAFEC code you hold, and to ask your Study Centre in writing whether it will accept BECC-118 up to 31 October. Planning against the later date and discovering at the counter that your centre follows the earlier one is the costlier mistake, because the booklets also state that submission within the stipulated time is what makes you eligible for the term-end examination.
Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. On a BAFEC paper that 30 per cent is one booklet of ten questions worth 100 marks, and a missed cut-off removes that component for the cycle, not just a few marks of it.
IGNOU has in past cycles published university-wide extension notices that move these dates after the booklets are printed. An extension notice on ignou.ac.in overrides the booklet date for the examination it names; a date quoted on a third-party site does not. Papers also expire. Each booklet names the admission cycle or session it serves, and when IGNOU replaces it for the next cycle, the old questions stop being the ones your Study Centre expects unless you are submitting against an older session you are still registered for.
Three Assignment-Code Lines, Three Different Errors
An IGNOU assignment code normally tells you three things in one line: which course the answers are for, that they are Tutor Marked Assignment answers, and which session they belong to. For BAECH papers the pattern visible on older booklets is the course code, then AST, then TMA, then the session, as in BECC-111/AST/TMA/2025-26. The BAFEC booklets read for this page each break that pattern in a different way.
The 2026 BECC-117 booklet prints BECE-141/AST/TMA/2026. The course part points at BECE-141, Economics of Health and Education, another BAFEC Major paper, and the inner course code line on the same page reads BECE-117, a code that does not exist in the prospectus. The pattern looks like a template carried over from a BAECH booklet: a 2023-24 BAECH BECC-113 booklet shows the same letter calling a core paper an “Elective course” with a BECE prefix in its course code line.
The 2025-26 BECC-118 booklet prints BECC-111/AST/TMA/2025-26, the code of BAECH Indian Economy I, on a booklet for BAFEC Indian Economy. The 2025 BECC-115 booklet prints “Asst /TMA /2024-25”, with no course code at all and a session that does not match the “Assignment 2025” heading on its own cover.
The practical rule for a BAFEC front page is to write the course code that appears on your admission or re-registration record, which will be BECC-115, BECC-117 or BECC-118, in the course code field, and to confirm with your Study Centre how it wants the assignment code line filled when the printed one names another course. Ask whether the centre wants the line copied exactly as printed, so that it matches the paper attached behind it, or corrected to the course you are enrolled in. Tell Shri Chakradhar Publication which your centre prefers when you send your codes, so the front page in your packet matches it.
The session part matters as much as the course part. A BAFEC learner admitted in January 2024 who is submitting BECC-115 now needs the booklet written for that admission cycle, not the newest one on the portal, and the session printed in the assignment code is the quickest way to see whether the booklet in your hand is the right one.
Your Own Hand on Economics Diagrams and Numericals
Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. For an Economics Major the match matters in more places than the prose. Supply and demand curves, isoquant maps, indifference curves and the tables of figures a statistics answer needs all carry handwriting in their labels, axes and working, so the sample is used for the digits and diagram labels as well as for the sentences.
The same hand is kept through every code in one order. If you send BECC-116, BECC-118 and BECS-184 together, all three bundles are written in the style your sample shows, so every page in one order stays consistent.
Taking the Sample Photo for a BECC Set
Photograph a full page of your normal writing, in daylight, with the phone held flat above the sheet. A page with a few numbers and a rough diagram on it is more useful than a page of plain text, because it shows how you write digits, how you label an axis and how you draw a bracket. Blue or black ink on ruled paper, as you would use for the real assignment, gives the closest match. One clear page is enough; a crooked or shadowed photo is the only thing that makes a second one necessary.
English or Hindi Booklet, January 2024 Batch or Later
The prospectus records BAFEC’s medium of instruction as English and Hindi, and IGNOU’s BAFEC programme page says the same. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For BAFEC that means an English set written against the English booklet, or a Hindi set written in Devanagari against the Hindi booklet; a Hindi-medium BECC-116 booklet for the July 2025 and January 2026 admission cycles is listed on ignou.ac.in alongside the English ones. Tell Shri Chakradhar Publication which medium your admission record shows, because the Hindi and English booklets for one code are separate files.
If your record is in Hindi, you can ask for the Hindi-medium BAFEC set on WhatsApp with the same ₹320 rate.
Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. BAFEC’s first learners were admitted in January 2024, so the oldest BAFEC booklets in circulation are the ones written for that batch, such as the 2025 BECC-115 paper whose schedule addresses the January 2024 admission cycle. A learner from that batch who is clearing a paper late, or who re-registered after a gap, submits against the booklet for his or her own cycle, and the set is written against that booklet rather than the current one.
Backlogs in a Major programme can come in pairs. A learner who postponed a year of the Major may end up owing BECC-115 and BECC-116 together, or BECC-117 and BECC-118, and those pairs are the ones where the booklets disagree most on dates and codes. Send the session you are submitting for alongside each code, not just the code, and the right booklet is used for each.
What Your WhatsApp Message Needs for a BAFEC Order
An order needs very little, and all of it comes from documents you already hold. The list below is the whole of it.
- Your course codes exactly as your admission or re-registration record prints them, for example BECC-115, BECC-118 and BECS-184. Copy the code from your record, not from a booklet, for the reasons the assignment-code section gives.
- The examination you are submitting for, June or December and the year, or the admission cycle if you are clearing an older paper.
- Your medium, English or Hindi, as your record shows it.
- Your pin code, so that delivery to your address can be confirmed before you pay.
- A photo of one page of your handwriting, taken as the handwriting section describes.
- How your Study Centre wants the assignment code line filled, if you already know, so the free front page matches it.
Your enrolment number and address details for the front page can be sent at the same time or written in by you after the packet arrives. Payment follows the sample and the delivery confirmation, not the other way round.
Ready with your BECC codes and a handwriting photo?
One code or the whole record, ₹320 per subject, courier included, no minimum order.
From Receiving the Packet to the Study Centre Receipt
When the packet arrives, open each code’s bundle and read it through before anything else. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. For BAFEC that reading is also useful preparation: the BECC-115 letter points out that writing answers to assignment questions prepares you for the term-end examination.
Then assemble each submission in the order your Regional Centre asks for. A Regional Centre Delhi-3 submission format seen during research lists the order as the filled cover page, a copy of the identity card, a printout of the applicable question paper and then the handwritten answers. Other centres use a different order, so follow your own centre’s sheet if it has one.
Take the bundles to the Coordinator of your Study Centre, which is where every BAFEC booklet read for this page directs submission. The BECC-115 booklet asks you to obtain a receipt for the assignments submitted and retain it, and to keep a photocopy of the assignments if possible. It adds that the Study Centre has to return the assignments to you after they are evaluated, and that the Study Centre sends the marks to the Student Evaluation Division in New Delhi. Keep the receipt until the marks appear against each code on your record; it is the only proof of submission you will have if a code shows as missing later.
Other Shri Chakradhar Shelves a BAFEC Learner Uses
Most BAFEC learners who order handwritten sets are also preparing for the term-end examination on the same codes. The store keeps a dedicated shelf of BA Economics Major help books arranged by BAFEC code, and for learners studying in Hindi there is a separate Hindi-medium BECC-101 study book for the first Major paper.
Because BECC-101, BECC-107 and BECC-118 are shared with the multidisciplinary BA, the Economics books filed under the BAM new syllabus cover the same codes from a second shelf. Learners who are unsure whether their enrolment is BAFEC or the older Honours programme can compare codes against the BAECH Honours Economics book shelf, where the two-part BECC-105 to BECC-114 papers sit.
For the non-Major papers, the vocational course books, including Data Analysis, the skill enhancement papers of the new BA syllabus, the interdisciplinary course guides and the value-added course books such as Value Education each have their own shelf. Revision papers for the examination itself sit among the bachelor’s degree solved guess papers.
Every programme’s handwritten product is gathered on the IGNOU handwritten assignment hub, which is the place to start if you also hold codes from a second programme. If you would rather write the BAFEC answers yourself, ignouproject.com, the publisher’s editorial site, keeps a free guide to writing an IGNOU assignment by hand that reads several schools’ booklets against each other.
BAFEC Ordering Questions, Answered From the Booklets
Which BAFEC codes can be ordered as handwritten assignments?
All ten Major papers, BECC-101, BECC-103, BECC-107, BECC-110, BECC-115, BECC-116, BECC-117, BECC-118, BECE-141 and BECE-144, and every non-Major paper on a BAFEC record, including the ability, value-added, interdisciplinary, vocational, skill and minor papers. Each is ₹320 per subject, written against the booklet for your session and medium.
What is the BAFEC assignment last date for the December 2026 TEE?
It depends on the booklet. The 2026 BECC-117 booklet prints 30 September 2026; the 2025-26 BECC-118 booklet prints 31 October 2026 for the same December 2026 examination. Plan against 30 September 2026 for every code and ask your Study Centre whether it accepts later submissions for BECC-118. An extension notice on ignou.ac.in, if one is issued, overrides both.
The BECC-117 paper shows BECE-141/AST/TMA/2026. Which code goes on the front page?
Write BECC-117, the code on your admission record, in the course code field. The printed assignment code belongs to Economics of Health and Education, a different BAFEC paper, and appears to be carried over from an older template. Ask your Study Centre whether it wants the assignment code line copied as printed or corrected, and pass that on with your order.
Is BECC-117 a Major course or an elective in BAFEC?
The Common Prospectus July 2026 lists BECC-117 Development Economics among the ten BAFEC Major courses. The 2026 booklet’s letter calls it an elective and heads it “Development Economics-I”, both of which match the older BAECH template rather than the BAFEC table. For ordering and submission it makes no difference: it is one six-credit paper with one 100-mark assignment.
Can a BAFEC solved assignment PDF be submitted instead of a handwritten one?
No BAFEC booklet read for this page describes a PDF or printout as the submission form. The BECC-118 booklet asks for answers in your own words submitted to the Study Centre Coordinator, and a Regional Centre Delhi-2 guideline says typed assignments will not be accepted. Use a solved assignment as reading material and submit a handwritten set.
Solved assignment or handwritten assignment: what is the real difference for BAFEC?
A solved assignment is a soft-copy file of model answers for one code and session, meant to be read. A handwritten assignment is those answers written by hand on A4 sheets and handed in at the Study Centre in hard copy. This product is the second; it includes the front page and a printed copy of the TMA paper, which a solved file does not.
Will a typed or printed BAFEC assignment be rejected?
The BAFEC booklets themselves say only that answers must be in your own words and handed to the Study Centre Coordinator. The rejection of typed work is stated in Regional Centre guidelines, such as the Delhi-2 note for June 2025, rather than in the booklets. Because centres apply their own rules, a handwritten submission is the form every document read here accepts.
Is BAFEC the same as BAECH, and can a BAECH booklet be used?
No. BAECH is the older BA (Honours) Economics with BECC-101 to BECC-114 and a mathematical methods pair. BAFEC is the NEP Major with new single-part codes, BECC-115 to BECC-118, and no mathematical methods paper. The questions differ, so a BAECH booklet cannot stand in for a BAFEC code even where the subject name looks similar.
Is the Hindi-medium BAFEC set the same price?
Yes. The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. BAFEC is offered in English and Hindi, and a Hindi set is written in Devanagari against the Hindi booklet for your code. State your medium in your first message, because the Hindi and English booklets are separate files.
For a January 2024 BAFEC admission, which BECC-115 booklet applies?
The booklet written for your admission cycle. The 2025 BECC-115 booklet read for this page addresses learners who took admission in January 2024, even though its cover mentions the January 2025 cycle. Send your admission cycle with the code, and the set is written against the matching booklet. Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject.
Should BAFEC answers be written on one side of the page or both?
The BAFEC booklets do not say. Regional Centre documents disagree: a Delhi-3 submission format asks for writing on both sides, preferably on plain A4, while one Study Centre’s rule sheet asks for the front side only. Follow the sheet your own Study Centre issues, and mention it when you order.
How is the BECC-118 assignment structured?
One Tutor Marked Assignment of 100 marks in three parts: two descriptive questions of about 500 words at 20 marks each, three middle-category questions of about 250 words at 10 marks each, and five short questions of about 100 words at 6 marks each. All questions are compulsory. Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent.
Can BECS-184 Data Analysis or a minor paper go in the same order as the BECC codes?
Yes, at the same rate, in the same handwriting and in the same packet. The one caution is the Economics minor set, BECM-161 to BECM-163, which the prospectus bars an Economics Major from taking even though IGNOU’s programme page lists two of them. Confirm those codes with your Regional Centre first.
Does a whole semester have to be ordered at once?
No. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. Pricing is per subject, so one BAFEC paper can be ordered alone. The prospectus does not tie any Major code to a fixed semester, so ordering by code rather than by semester is also the only reliable way to match your record.
Can the handwritten set be submitted exactly as it arrives?
Read it first. You sign the declaration on the front page, so the content should be something you have reviewed and understand, particularly the numerical working on papers such as BECC-115 and BECC-107. Keep a photocopy and the Study Centre receipt, as the BAFEC booklets advise.
Sources Behind This BAFEC Page, Kept Apart
Three kinds of source were used, and they are kept separate here because they carry different weight.
From the IGNOU Common Prospectus July 2026. The programme name, code, School, eligibility, medium and fee row come from the programme table; the ten Major codes, titles and credits come from section 5.6 on page 169; the category rules, the semester template, the exit awards and the minor-discipline rule come from the general Bachelor of Arts section on pages 162 to 167; the BAECH and BAM comparisons come from the BAECH core and elective tables and the BAM discipline table in the same edition. The credit total was checked by adding the table, not taken on trust.
From live IGNOU booklets and pages, read on 21 September 2026. Dates, assignment codes, marks patterns, cover wording and submission instructions come from the 2025 BECC-115, 2026 BECC-117 and 2025-26 BECC-118 booklets on ignou.ac.in, all under the School of Social Sciences. The course list with semester labels comes from IGNOU’s BAFEC programme page, and the index observation comes from the FYUG page of the assignment portal. Regional Centre Delhi-2 and Delhi-3 documents were read as secondary sources and are named as such wherever they are used. You can download your own booklet from IGNOU’s current assignments service and check the programme listing on the official BAFEC programme page.
