Everything about buying from the Shri Chakradhar store: how to pick the right edition for your subject code, whether to take soft copy or hard copy, what things cost, how payment and courier work, and what happens if something arrives wrong. Written by BK Sahni, who has published for IGNOU students since 2010.

Last reviewed 22 August 2026 · Shri Chakradhar Publication Private Limited, CIN U22213DL2019PTC352185, New Delhi · An independent publisher. Not affiliated with IGNOU. For academic procedure and deadlines, see the IGNOU FAQ on ignouproject.com.

Who you are buying from

Before you pay a stranger on the internet, this is who we are.

Who runs shrichakradhar.com?

Shri Chakradhar Publication Private Limited, a company registered in New Delhi under CIN U22213DL2019PTC352185. We are a publisher, not a reseller, and we print at our own press.

The founder is BK Sahni, who has worked with IGNOU distance-learning students since 2010 and is the credited author of the imprint’s help books and exam guides. You can verify the company on the Ministry of Corporate Affairs register using the CIN above, and you can walk into the Dwarka office during business hours.

Is Shri Chakradhar connected to IGNOU?

No. We are an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Nothing bought here is issued by the university. Official IGNOU self-learning material comes free with your programme fee from your Regional Centre, and free digital copies are on eGyanKosh. What we sell is our own published material and our own written work. Anything about your admission, evaluation, grade card or degree goes to IGNOU directly.

Is it safe to pay on this website?

Payments run through a standard Indian payment gateway over an encrypted connection. We do not see or store your card details. If you would rather not pay online, message WhatsApp +91 93546 37830 and pay by UPI directly, or come to the Dwarka office and pay in cash.

A reasonable check before paying any IGNOU store: does it publish a company registration number, a physical address you could actually visit, and a phone number a human answers. We publish all three.

What is the difference between shrichakradhar.com and ignouproject.com?

shrichakradhar.comignouproject.com
What it isThe storeThe guidance site
Go there forBuying books, assignments, guess papers, projectsHow IGNOU procedures work, deadlines, formats, status checks
Run byThe same company, the same office, the same WhatsApp number

We also publish ignoustudymaterial.com for study material by programme, ignouquestionpaper.com for question papers by subject code, and ignouguesspaper.com for guess papers.

Do you have a physical shop?

Yes. House No. 167, Ramphal Chowk Road, behind HDFC Bank, Sector 7 Dwarka, New Delhi 110077, open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00. You can browse the printed titles, check the print quality with your own eyes before paying, and collect an order instead of paying for courier. The registered office is separately at Vishnu Garden, New Delhi 110018, and is not a retail counter.

How long have you been publishing?

Since 2010 for IGNOU students, with the private limited company incorporated in 2019. Over that period we have supported more than 5,00,000 students across MBA, MCom, MA, BA, BCom, BCA and the diploma and certificate ranges.

Can I see reviews before I buy?

Yes, and read the negative ones. Our Google reviews include complaints about print quality on older orders, and we would rather you see those and then read what we changed than discover them afterwards. Section 10 on this page sets out the current paper, binding and printing standards, and what to do if a copy arrives below them.

How to place an order

WhatsApp is the fastest for anything that needs a human decision, which is most project work and any subject code not listed in the catalogue.

How do I find the right product for my subject code?

Start from your programme, not from search. The catalogue is organised programme first, then subject code, because the same code can appear in more than one programme.

Pick your level from the menu, Master’s, Bachelor’s, Diploma or Certificate, then your programme, then your subject code. If you cannot find the code, it may be listed under a revised programme name, so send the code on WhatsApp and you will get a direct product link back.

What information should I send when ordering on WhatsApp?

  • Your programme, for example MCOM or BAG or MMPC
  • The exact subject codes you need
  • Medium, English or Hindi
  • Session, for the assignment and guess paper products
  • Format, soft copy or hard copy
  • Delivery PIN code, if you want a hard copy
  • Your deadline, if you have one

Sending those seven things in one message removes about six rounds of back and forth and gets you a price the same day.

Do I need to create an account?

For website orders, yes. An account lets you see your order history, track shipments and re-download digital files if you lose them. For WhatsApp orders, no account is needed and everything is delivered on WhatsApp.

Can I order without paying online?

Yes. Order on WhatsApp and pay by UPI, or come to the Dwarka office and pay in cash. Ask about cash on delivery when you order, since availability depends on the courier serving your PIN code and on the item.

Can I add to an order after placing it?

If it has not shipped, yes, and it usually saves you the second courier charge. Message WhatsApp with your order number and the extra subject codes. Once a hard-copy order has been handed to the courier it travels as it is, and additions ship separately.

Can I place a bulk or combo order?

Yes, and it is the normal way students buy. Full semester sets, all subject codes for a programme year, or combined orders for a study group are quoted together on WhatsApp, which usually beats adding items individually to the cart. Tell us the programme and the semester rather than listing every code, and we will build the set.

Can I order on behalf of another student?

Yes. Send their programme, subject codes and delivery address. For handwritten assignments we also need the medium. Nothing on this site needs the student’s enrolment number except project work, where it is used on the documentation.

How do I know my order was received?

Website orders generate an order number and a confirmation email. WhatsApp orders get a written confirmation with the item list and total before you pay. If you paid and have neither, message WhatsApp with the payment reference. Do not place a second order to be safe, because that usually ends with two deliveries.

Payment, pricing, GST and invoices

What you pay, how you pay it, and what paperwork you get.

How can I pay?

UPI, credit cards, debit cards, net banking and NFC mobile payments online. Cash at the Dwarka office. Cash on delivery is available on selected items and PIN codes, so confirm on WhatsApp before assuming it.

What do things cost?

ProductPrice
Guess paper, per subject, PDFRs 49
Previous year solved question paper, per subject, PDFRs 49
Handwritten assignment, per subjectRs 320, reduced from Rs 350, front page included
Solved assignments, per subjectListed on each product page, soft copy and hard copy priced separately
Help books and study guidesListed per title by programme and semester
Readymade projectsListed per programme, soft copy and hard copy priced separately
Customized project and synopsisQuoted per case, arranged on WhatsApp
Project guide and supervisor arrangementRs 1,000, added to a synopsis order

Live prices on the product pages are authoritative. Where a figure here and a product page disagree, the product page is right and this page needs updating.

Are prices inclusive of delivery?

Digital items have no delivery charge. For printed items, shipping is calculated at checkout by weight and destination, and is shown before you pay. Handwritten assignments at Rs 320 per subject include courier in the price. Bulk orders often ship cheaper per item, which is another reason to order a full semester at once.

Will I get a GST invoice?

Yes. A tax invoice is issued for every order and emailed with your confirmation. If you need the invoice in a company name for reimbursement, send the billing name and GSTIN before you pay rather than after, because reissuing an invoice with changed party details is not always possible.

Why is your book cheaper or costlier than another seller?

Price in this market tracks what is physically in the book. A thin stapled booklet of printed pages costs less to make than a properly bound guide with a heavier cover and a full unit-by-unit treatment. When comparing two IGNOU help books, compare the page count, the binding and whether the content is written or simply reproduced. Section 10 sets out what is in ours.

Do you offer student discounts or offers?

Seasonal offers run before each June and December examination cycle and around assignment cut-off periods, and bulk orders are quoted below single-item pricing. There is no separate student card scheme, since effectively every customer is a student.

My payment failed but money left my account. What now?

Failed gateway transactions are normally auto-reversed by your bank within three to seven working days without anyone doing anything. Send the payment reference on WhatsApp and we will confirm from our side whether the order registered. Do not re-pay until that is confirmed.

Can I pay partly now and partly later?

For project work, yes. Longer project engagements are commonly split between an advance at the start and the balance on delivery. For catalogue products, payment is full and upfront, because they ship immediately.

Shipping, delivery and tracking

Timelines, tracking and what to do when a courier goes quiet.

When will my order actually arrive?

ItemTimeline
Guess papers and question paper PDFsSame day after payment, on WhatsApp or email
Solved assignment soft copiesSame day to next day
Books and printed titlesDispatched in 1 to 2 working days, then courier transit
Handwritten assignments7 to 9 working days including courier
Readymade projects, hard copyDispatched in 2 to 3 working days, then courier transit
Customized project workQuoted per case at the time of order

Courier transit is typically 2 to 4 days within North India and 4 to 7 days for the South, North East and remote PIN codes. Add buffer around examination weeks and festivals, when every courier in the country slows down.

Which parts of India do you ship to?

Yes, PAN India, including North East states, Jammu and Kashmir, and island territories, though remote PIN codes take longer and occasionally attract a surcharge which is shown before you pay. Digital items reach anywhere with internet, including students outside India.

How do I track my order?

A tracking number is shared on WhatsApp when your parcel is handed to the courier, and website orders also show tracking in the account area. If tracking has not moved for three working days, message us rather than waiting: a parcel stuck at a hub gets released when the shipper raises it, not when the recipient does.

Can I get urgent or express delivery?

Ask before ordering, not after. For printed items already in stock we can prioritise dispatch and use a faster courier service at extra cost. For handwritten assignments the writing time is the constraint, not the courier, so genuinely urgent requests need to be assessed honestly. We would rather tell you it is not achievable than take the order and miss your cut-off.

Can I collect from your office instead?

Yes, and it removes both the courier charge and the transit risk. Order on WhatsApp, tell us you will collect, and pick up from the Dwarka office Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00. Message before travelling so the order is packed and waiting.

My parcel has not arrived. What should I do?

  1. Check the tracking status first, since most parcels are simply in transit
  2. If it shows delivered but you did not receive it, check with neighbours and your building security, which resolves most of these
  3. If it has not moved for three working days, send us the order number and we raise it with the courier
  4. If the courier confirms loss, we resend at our cost

Keep the tracking number until the parcel is in your hands.

What if I gave the wrong address?

Tell us immediately. Before dispatch it is a simple correction. After dispatch, redirection depends on the courier and is not always possible, and a parcel returned to us can be resent once you pay the second courier charge. Check the PIN code carefully at checkout; it causes more failed deliveries than anything else.

Do you ship outside India?

Digital items yes, anywhere. Printed books and handwritten copies, no. IGNOU has learners across the Gulf, Southeast Asia and Africa, and for them the practical route is soft copies by WhatsApp and email.

Soft copy or hard copy: which to choose

The first decision on most of our products, and the one most often got wrong.

What is the difference between soft copy and hard copy?

A soft copy is a PDF delivered to your WhatsApp or email within hours. A hard copy is a physical printed and bound item couriered to your address.

Most of our catalogue exists in both. The right choice depends on what you are going to do with it: read and revise from it, or hand it in.

Which should I buy for each product?

ProductUsually best asWhy
Guess papersSoft copyYou need them in the last days before an exam, and speed beats paper
Previous year question papersSoft copy, hard copy for heavy usersSolve them on screen or print only the ones you need
Help books and study guidesHard copyYou read these for weeks; screen reading a full guide is punishing
Solved assignmentsSoft copyThey are reference for writing your own answers, not something you hand in
Handwritten assignmentsHard copyThe physical handwritten sheets are the entire point
Readymade projectsSoft copyYou will be adapting it, so you need an editable reference

Is the soft copy cheaper?

Yes, usually noticeably, because there is no paper, no printing, no binding and no courier. If budget is the constraint and you have access to a printer, buying the soft copy and printing only what you need is the cheapest route.

Can I print the soft copy myself?

Yes, for your own use. What is not permitted is redistributing it, uploading it to a file-sharing site or reselling it. These are published works and the files are watermarked to the buyer.

In what format do soft copies arrive?

PDF, readable on any phone, tablet or computer without special software. Handwritten scans arrive as PDF too. If a file will not open, message us: it is almost always an incomplete download rather than a corrupt file.

Can I upgrade from soft copy to hard copy later?

Yes. Message WhatsApp with your original order number and pay the difference plus courier. It works out slightly more than buying the hard copy at the start, so if you think you will want paper, take paper first.

Which does IGNOU actually accept?

Neither, as a submission. That is worth being blunt about.

Guess papers, question papers and help books are study material, not submissions, so the format is purely your preference. Assignments and projects are submitted in whatever form your study centre or Regional Centre requires, and that is a rule set by them, not by us. Ask your study centre whether it takes handwritten sheets, printed sheets or an upload, then buy the format that matches.

Buying IGNOU books and help books

Which edition, which medium, and how our books differ from the university’s material.

What exactly is inside a help book I buy here?

An A5 printed guide, written by us, that condenses a course into unit-by-unit revision material with previous-year question mapping. It is not a copy of IGNOU’s blocks and it is not a photocopied booklet.

Each title states its page count, its subject codes and its medium on the product page. Open a product page before ordering and check those three things: they tell you more about what you are buying than any description does. Section 10 covers the paper, printing and binding specification.

What a help book is not is a replacement for the university’s own material, which you already have free. Buy one to revise faster, not to skip the blocks.

Should I buy your books if the official material is free?

Only if the compression is worth money to you. If you have a full session ahead and time to read the blocks, you may not need a guide at all. If you are three weeks from the examination with six papers, a unit-by-unit guide with question coverage is the difference between revising and panicking. We would rather you buy the right thing than everything.

How do I know which book covers my subject code?

Every title is listed against its subject codes, and the product page names them explicitly. Some titles cover several codes for a semester, which is why the MCom semester guides are sold as one book per semester rather than one per paper. If your code is not listed anywhere, send it on WhatsApp before ordering something adjacent.

Are your books available in Hindi?

Yes, for most programmes, and the Hindi editions are separately written rather than translated.

This matters more than it sounds. IGNOU’s Hindi-medium papers use their own established terminology, and a machine-translated commerce or psychology guide teaches vocabulary the examiner will not recognise. Choose the medium you will answer in, not the one you read faster.

How do I know I am buying the current edition?

Product pages state the edition. Syllabus revisions happen and an old edition genuinely does become the wrong book, so if you are ordering for a programme that changed recently, confirm on WhatsApp. If you receive a superseded edition because our listing was stale, that is our error and we replace it.

Do you sell books for the new BAM, BSCM and online programmes?

Yes. The catalogue covers the newer BAM and BSCM structures, the online variants such as BCAOL, MCOMOL, MEGOL, BSWOL and their siblings, alongside the older BAG, BCOMG and BSCG ranges. Online-mode programmes often share subject codes with the ODL version, so check the code rather than the programme name.

Do you have books for every programme?

For most, not for all. Coverage is deepest where student numbers are highest: MBA and MMPC, MCom, BAG, BCOMG, BSCG, BCA, MCA, MAPC, MSW, MEG, MHD, MPS, MAH, MEC, MPA, MSO, MARD, MTTM, MLIS, MAEDU and the main diploma and certificate ranges. Very small programmes may have guess papers and solved assignments but no printed guide.

What is a Last Minute Exam Guide?

A printed A5 guide built for the fortnight before the examination: unit-by-unit coverage in syllabus order, previous-year question mapping, and answer structure for the sections carrying the most marks. It is deliberately not a textbook. If you buy one three months out, you have bought the wrong product.

Do you sell IGNOU’s own official books?

No, and be careful of anyone who says they do. The university issues its self-learning material to enrolled students free through the Regional Centre, and free digital copies are on eGyanKosh. Everything we sell is our own published work.

Can I buy your books on Amazon instead?

Selected titles, yes, under the Shri Chakradhar imprint. Amazon suits you if you want its delivery network and returns process. Buying direct suits you if you want a title Amazon does not carry, a Hindi edition, a bulk semester set, or a price without the marketplace margin.

Buying solved and handwritten assignments

Two different products that students constantly confuse before ordering.

Solved assignment or handwritten assignment: which product do I need?

A solved assignment is a typed answer set you read and learn from. A handwritten assignment is physical sheets written out by hand. They are different products at different prices and they solve different problems.

Solved assignmentHandwritten assignment
What arrivesTyped answers, PDF or printed bookHand-written sheets on ruled A4
Buy it whenYou will write your own answers and want a model to work fromYou need physical written sheets and cannot write them in time
PriceListed per subject on the product pageRs 320 per subject, front page included
Arrives inSame day for PDF7 to 9 working days by courier

If you are unsure, buy the solved set first. It is cheaper, it arrives today, and you can still order handwriting later if you run out of time.

Which session’s edition should I order?

The current one for your subject code, which is not necessarily the year you enrolled.

IGNOU releases fresh assignment question papers each session and study centres check answers against the current paper. Ordering an older edition because it matches your admission year is the most common ordering mistake we see. Tell us your subject code and we will confirm which edition is live before you pay.

Is the solved assignment priced per subject or per programme?

Per subject code. Students normally order the four to eight codes they are sitting that session rather than a whole programme. Full-semester sets are quoted together on WhatsApp and come out lower than adding codes one by one to the cart.

Do you have a printed solved assignment book rather than PDFs?

Yes. There is a hard-copy solved assignment book covering all programmes and courses for any session, sold as a single printed volume, alongside the per-subject soft copies. It suits students who want everything for a programme in one place on paper. The per-subject PDF suits students who need three codes tomorrow.

What exactly do I get for Rs 320 on a handwritten assignment?

  • The full handwritten answer set for one subject code, on ruled A4
  • A completed front page in your programme’s format, at no extra cost
  • Paper, stationery and writing charges
  • Courier anywhere in India with a tracking number

The list price is Rs 350 and the live price is Rs 320. There is no separate cover-page charge and no standard delivery surcharge.

What can I see before I pay?

For handwriting, a photo of the actual hand on WhatsApp. For printed books, photographs of the interior pages. For projects, a relevant sample.

Ask for it every time, with us or with anyone else. Handwriting and print quality are the two things you cannot judge from a listing, and a seller unwilling to show you either before payment is asking you to buy blind.

Is my handwritten copy written only for me?

Yes. Each order is written out individually rather than photocopied from a master, and one writer completes all the subject codes in a single student’s order so the hand stays consistent across your whole submission.

This is why we do not sell cheap shared handwritten PDFs. Those circulate in identical handwriting across thousands of submissions, and study centres do notice.

Can I get a scanned PDF of the handwritten copy?

Yes, where your Regional Centre accepts digital submission. The scan is made from the copy written for you and is not resold to anyone else. Say at the time of ordering whether you need the scan, the physical sheets, or both.

Which programmes can you write handwritten copies for?

All the major ones: MBA and the MMPC codes, MCom with MCO and IBO, BAG, BCOMG, BSCG, BCA with BCS and BCSL, MCA with MCS, the MA streams, MAPC, MSW, MLIS, MARD, MAEDU, MTTM, MPA, MAEC, MASO, MAPS, MAHI, MGPS, MAANY, plus the diploma and certificate ranges. Send your codes on WhatsApp for confirmation.

Do you write Hindi-medium handwritten copies?

Yes, and they are written by writers who work in Devanagari regularly. A Hindi answer written by an English-medium hand reads laboured and slows an evaluator down. State the medium when you order, because it determines which writer takes the job.

How many subject codes should I order at once?

Order the full set you are submitting this session in one go. It is cheaper on courier, the handwriting stays consistent across every subject, and it avoids the situation where two codes arrive after your cut-off. Ordering piecemeal across three weeks is how students end up paying three courier charges.

When should I place a handwritten order to be safe?

At least three weeks before your study centre cut-off. Writing takes 7 to 9 working days including courier under normal load, and the fortnight before every deadline is when writer capacity across the entire market runs out. Ordering early costs the same and removes the risk.

What if IGNOU changes the question paper after I order?

Tell us as soon as you know. If the work has not started we switch to the new paper at no charge. If it is part written we will discuss what is salvageable honestly rather than deliver you a set answering questions nobody asked.

Buying guess papers and solved question papers

Two Rs 49 products, and what each one can and cannot do for you.

What is the difference between these two products?

Solved guess paperPrevious year solved paper
ContentLikely questions for the coming exam, with answersPapers actually set in past sessions, with answers
PriceRs 49 per subjectRs 49 per subject
Buy itIn the final weekTwo to four weeks out
Use it forDeciding what to revise when time has run outTimed practice and learning the paper pattern

Most students who buy one end up buying the other. If your budget stretches to only one and your exam is more than a fortnight away, take the previous year papers.

How are these delivered?

As PDF, the same day you pay, on WhatsApp or email. There is no courier and no delivery charge. If you want them on paper, print the PDF or ask about the printed compilations.

Which session’s guess paper should I buy?

The edition prepared for your upcoming examination cycle, June or December. Guess papers are rebuilt before each cycle because the pattern analysis is redone against the newest paper. An old edition is not useless, but you are buying last cycle’s prioritisation.

How much of the paper will the guess paper actually cover?

A meaningful share on most subjects, and less on subjects whose syllabus changed recently. Anyone quoting you a fixed percentage across all subjects is inventing it.

Coverage works because IGNOU reuses questions heavily from a finite bank per course, so pattern analysis is genuinely predictive. It works less well where a code was revised in the last year or two and there is little usable history behind it. If your code is newly revised, we will say so rather than sell you thin analysis.

Are guess papers available for my programme?

Coverage is broad across Master’s, Bachelor’s, diploma and certificate programmes. MBA and MMPC, MCom, MARD, MTTM, MEG, MHD, MEC, MPS, MPA, MSO, MAPC, MAAN, MLIS, MSW, MAEDU, MSCDFSM, MGPS, MADVS and dozens more on the Master’s side, and BAG, BCOMG, BSCG, BCA, BLIS, BSW, BTS, B.Ed and the honours streams on the Bachelor’s side. Diploma and certificate coverage includes DNHE, DECE, DTS, DEVMT, PGDDM, PGDRD, PGDHE, PGDET, PGDEMA, PGDIBO and others.

Do you have these in Hindi?

Yes, for programmes IGNOU offers in Hindi medium. Hindi editions use the terminology the Hindi paper actually uses rather than translating an English answer, which matters because a translated answer often misses the expected vocabulary entirely.

Can I buy a bundle for all my subjects?

Yes, and it is the sensible way. Send the full code list on WhatsApp and you get a bundle price rather than paying Rs 49 six times. Full-semester bundles are the most common order in this category.

My subject code is not in the catalogue. Can you still supply it?

Often. The published catalogue covers high-demand codes, and we compile others on request where enough past-paper history exists. Send the code and we will tell you plainly whether we can build something useful or whether the history is too thin to be worth your money.

Can I share the PDF with my classmates?

No. Files are watermarked to the buyer and these are published works. Group buying is fine and we will quote a bundle for a study group, but redistributing or uploading a file is not.

Buying IGNOU projects: readymade or customized

The most important decision on this site, and the one where the wrong choice costs the most.

What are the three project options here?

OptionWhat it isWhere
Readymade, soft copyA completed sample project for a programme, delivered as an editable fileThis store
Readymade, hard copyThe same, printed and boundThis store
CustomizedA project written to your own topic, with guidance through approvalArranged via ignouproject.com

Which one should I actually buy?

Buy readymade if you want a model to see how a finished project for your programme is built. Buy customized if this is the project you are going to submit.

The reason is simple arithmetic. A readymade project for a popular programme is bought by a lot of students. If several of them submit it, the similarity is visible to an evaluator. Readymade exists to show you structure, chapter flow, methodology and formatting. Customized exists to be yours.

Can I submit a readymade project as it is?

No, and we would rather lose the sale than let you find that out at evaluation.

High similarity is one of the standard grounds for project rejection, and a sample circulating widely is exactly what similarity checking is designed to catch. Use a readymade project as a reference: study how the objectives are framed, how the methodology is justified, how the data chapter is organised, then write your own against your own topic.

What is included in a readymade project?

The complete project report for the stated programme and course code, with the standard front matter, chapters, bibliography and annexures, plus the synopsis where the programme uses one. The hard-copy version arrives printed and bound. Product pages state the programme, the course code and the format.

Which programmes have readymade projects?

A wide range across both soft copy and hard copy: MBA including MMPP-1 and the Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations and Banking specialisations, MCom, MAPC with MPCE-16, MPCE-26 and MPCE-36, MSW, MAEDU, MARD, MTTM, MLIS, MSCDFSM, MSCENV, MSCIS, MSCCFT, MEC, MPA, MPS, MADE, BTS with PTS-4, PTS-5 and PTS-6, BAPCH, BSCANH, BAVTM, DECE, DNHE, DTS, DPLAD, DIPP, AHE, AMT, and the PGDRD, PGDDM, PGDHE, PGDEMA, PGDIS, PGDCJ, PGDFSQM, PGDUPDL, PGCPP and certificate ranges.

How does a customized project work?

It runs as a guided engagement rather than a purchase: topic selection, synopsis written to your programme’s proforma, revisions free of charge until the synopsis is approved, then the full report written to the approved synopsis. It is quoted per case because a 2-credit project and a 12-credit dissertation are not the same work. Start it on WhatsApp or at ignouproject.com.

What does a customized project cost?

Quoted per case, based on programme, credit weight and whether primary data collection and statistical analysis are involved. You get scope and price in writing before anything begins, and nothing is added afterwards. Readymade projects are fixed-price and listed on their product pages.

Can you also arrange a project guide?

Yes, Rs 1,000, added to a synopsis order, for students who cannot find an eligible supervisor through their Study Centre or Regional Centre. You receive the guide’s signed biodata in IGNOU format and their signature on the approval proforma and annexures, by Speed Post or collected from the Dwarka office, and you are put in contact with the guide. The eligibility rules and what is deliberately excluded are set out on the project guide section at ignouproject.com.

How long does a customized project take?

The synopsis is usually ready within a few days of the brief being agreed. The report takes longer and depends on credit weight and data collection. The part nobody can compress is IGNOU’s own approval window on the synopsis, which runs roughly four to eight weeks, so work backwards from your Regional Centre deadline with that included.

Do you print and bind a project I wrote myself?

Yes. Bring or send the file and we print and bind it at our own press: spiral, soft or hard bound, to the page size and margins your programme prescribes, with cover printing. This is a common walk-in job at the Dwarka office in the weeks before submission.

Print quality, paper and binding standards

Read this section before ordering anything printed. It also answers our own bad reviews directly.

What paper and binding do your printed books use?

Titles are printed A5 on white book paper with a printed card cover, and bound rather than stapled. Every product page states the page count, and the page count is the honest measure of what you are buying. A guide that condenses a full course into a genuinely useful revision text runs to a real number of pages, and that number is published rather than hidden.

Some of your older reviews complain about print quality. What happened?

Fair criticism on some older orders, and we would rather address it than pretend it is not there.

Complaints on our Google listing describe faint or blurred printing and books that felt like stapled printouts. Those are legitimate descriptions of what some customers received. Printing now runs on our own press rather than through third-party job work, which is what put quality inside our control instead of someone else’s.

If you receive a copy with faint printing, missing pages, or binding that fails, photograph it and send the photos on WhatsApp with your order number. We replace it. That is a straightforward commitment and it costs you nothing to hold us to it.

Why do some titles look thin for the price?

Because condensing is the product. A last-minute exam guide is deliberately shorter than the university’s blocks, and its value is the selection and the question mapping rather than the paper weight. What is not acceptable is a thin book that is thin because the content was skipped, and page count plus the subject codes covered are published on each product page so you can judge which one you are looking at before paying.

Can I see the inside pages before ordering?

Yes. Ask on WhatsApp and we photograph the interior pages of the exact title. For a book you are going to read for weeks, spending two minutes on this is worth it.

Can I inspect books at your shop?

Yes, and it is the best way if you are in Delhi. Come to the Dwarka office during opening hours, handle the actual book, read a few pages, then decide. Nothing on a website tells you as much as thirty seconds with the physical copy.

Is the content original or copied from IGNOU material?

Written by us and credited to BK Sahni. The subject matter necessarily follows IGNOU’s syllabus, because that is what you are being examined on, but the text is our own writing rather than reproduced university blocks. If you want the university’s own blocks, they are free on eGyanKosh and there is no reason to pay anyone for them.

How current is the content?

Titles are revised against syllabus changes and refreshed around the June and December examination cycles. Product pages state the edition. If a programme has just been revised and we have not caught up, we will tell you rather than sell you the superseded edition.

What if I receive the wrong book?

Photograph the cover and the order slip and send both on WhatsApp. A wrong item is our error, and we send the correct title and arrange collection of the wrong one at our cost. Do not post it back before telling us, because unannounced returns are hard to match to an order.

Returns, refunds and problems with an order

The policy in plain terms, including the parts that are not in your favour.

Can I return a printed item?

Yes, if it arrives damaged, misprinted, incomplete or is the wrong title. Report within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and your order number, and we replace it or refund it. Buyer’s remorse on a correctly supplied book is harder, because a book that has been in transit and handled cannot go back into stock, so choose carefully or inspect at the shop first.

Can I get a refund on a digital file?

Generally no, once the file has been delivered, for the obvious reason that it cannot be returned.

This is standard for digital goods and every seller in this category applies it. Where we do refund is when the file is unreadable, is the wrong subject code, or is materially not what the product page described. Check the code carefully before paying, and ask questions first rather than after.

Can I cancel an order?

Before dispatch, yes, with a full refund. After dispatch, the courier is already paid and in motion, so cancellation becomes a return. For handwritten assignments, cancellation is possible before writing begins; once a writer has started, part-completed work has a real cost and we will discuss it case by case.

How long does a refund take?

Approved refunds are processed within two to three working days and reach your bank or UPI account in a further three to seven working days depending on your bank. Refunds go back to the original payment method. If you paid by UPI and have since closed that account, tell us before the refund is issued.

My order arrived incomplete. What do I do?

Photograph everything you received including the packaging, and send it with your order number. Multi-item orders occasionally ship in more than one parcel, so we check first whether the rest is in transit. If something is genuinely missing we send it at our cost.

What if the item does not match the product page?

That is on us. Send the order number and describe the difference. If the listing was wrong, you get the correct item or a full refund, your choice. Listing errors happen on a catalogue this size, and the fix is ours to make rather than yours to absorb.

What is not covered?

  • Marks or grades. Nothing anyone sells can influence what an evaluator awards
  • Rejection of work you submitted, where you submitted a readymade sample as your own
  • Delays caused by a wrong or incomplete delivery address
  • Courier delays outside our control, though we chase them and resend genuinely lost parcels
  • Ordering the wrong subject code when the code you sent was the one supplied

Stating these plainly is better than burying them. Most disputes in this industry come from expectations nobody wrote down.

How do I escalate if I am not satisfied?

Message WhatsApp +91 93546 37830 and ask for the owner, or email [email protected] with your order number in the subject line. You can also walk into the Dwarka office. If a complaint has gone unanswered, say so directly and it will be looked at, because an unresolved complaint costs us more in public than it does to fix.

Your account, downloads and support

Getting back to your files and getting hold of a human.

Do I need an account to buy?

For website orders, yes, and it is worth having: order history, shipment tracking and re-downloads all live there. For WhatsApp orders, no account is needed and everything arrives on WhatsApp.

I lost my PDF. Can I download it again?

Yes. Website purchases can be re-downloaded from your account. For files sent on WhatsApp, message us with the order number or the payment reference and we resend. There is no charge for resending a file you already bought.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Before dispatch, yes, immediately and at no cost. After dispatch it depends on the courier and is often not possible. Message as soon as you notice, because the window is short.

How do I find my order number?

It is in your confirmation email and in your account order history for website purchases. For WhatsApp orders, scroll back to the confirmation message. If you cannot find either, send the payment reference or the UPI transaction ID and we will locate the order.

What are your support hours?

Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00, on WhatsApp, phone and at the Dwarka office. Messages sent outside those hours are answered the next working morning. During assignment cut-off weeks and the run-up to term-end examinations, response times stretch, which is another reason to order early.

How quickly will someone reply?

WhatsApp within working hours, usually the same hour. Email within one working day. If something is genuinely urgent, WhatsApp rather than email, and say what your deadline is in the first message.

Do you keep my personal details private?

Your name, address, contact number and programme details are used to fulfil and dispatch your order and nothing else. We do not sell or share customer records. For project work, your enrolment number and topic are handled the same way, and a project written for you is never resold to another student.

Can I get help choosing what to buy?

Yes, and it costs nothing. Send your programme, your subject codes and how far you are from your examination or deadline.

You will get a recommendation, and sometimes that recommendation is to buy less than you were planning. A student six weeks out needs previous year papers, not a guess paper. A student who has read the blocks may not need a help book at all. We would rather sell you the right one thing than the wrong four.
