IGNOU PGDRPC Handwritten Assignment: MPC 071 to MPC 074, the Four Theory Papers With a TMA

Original price was: ₹500.00.Current price is: ₹320.00.

Shri Chakradhar Publication writes the four IGNOU PGDRPC theory assignments, MPC 071 to MPC 074, by hand on A4 ruled sheets at ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included, for the July 2026 admission cycle due on 30 September 2027 and for any earlier cycle you still owe.

  • Keep your seat in the term-end examination. The July 2026 PGDRPC instructions make on-time submission of every theory assignment the condition for sitting the term-end paper, so a missing MPC set costs more than its own marks.
  • About 5,500 handwritten words per course, taken off your desk. Each MPC paper sets 18 compulsory questions: three answers of about 1,000 words, five of about 400 and ten of about 50, all written in the section order the booklet prints.
  • See the hand before you pay. Send a photo of one page from your own notes, and a sample in the matched hand comes back first. Matching costs nothing extra.
  • Four papers, never six. MPCL 075 and MPCL 076, the two practical courses that make up 16 of the diploma’s 32 credits, set no assignment, so a complete PGDRPC order stops at four codes and ₹1,280.
  • Addressed to the Work Centre, not a study centre. PGDRPC answers go to the coordinator of the Work Centre allotted to you, so the free IGNOU-format front page carries a Work Centre line, and a copy of the question paper travels with each set.
  • Older cycles and single papers at the same rate. July 2024 and July 2025 cycle papers are written for ₹320 each, and one code is a complete order.
  • No surprises on format or dispatch. No soft copy or PDF is sold. Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay.

Message the PGDRPC writing desk on WhatsApp at +91 93546 37830 with your MPC codes.

Shri Chakradhar Publication is an independent IGNOU study-support publisher and not the official IGNOU website; only ignou.ac.in and your Work Centre can confirm the current rules for your enrolment.

Description

In short. The IGNOU Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (PGDRPC) sets one Tutor Marked Assignment for each of its four theory courses, MPC 071, MPC 072, MPC 073 and MPC 074, and none for the two practical courses, MPCL 075 and MPCL 076. Shri Chakradhar Publication writes those four papers by hand on A4 ruled sheets at ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier, a free IGNOU-format front page and a copy of the question paper included, so a complete order is four codes and ₹1,280. For the July 2026 admission cycle every MPC paper prints one last date, 30 September 2027, and the sets go to the coordinator of the Work Centre allotted to you rather than to a study centre or to the university’s evaluation division. Papers from the July 2024 and July 2025 cycles are written at the same rate.

Four MPC Papers, Each Leaving the Desk With Its Own Front Sheet and Question Paper

A PGDRPC order is counted in course codes, and each code you name becomes one self-contained bundle. Nothing is shared between bundles, because the Work Centre coordinator receives and records each course separately and the booklet asks for each assignment to be written separately with the question number beside every answer.

Each bundle holds four things. First, the answer sheets themselves: A4 ruled paper written on one hand from start to finish, with a left margin of about 4 cm kept clear for the evaluator, which is the paper size and margin the PGDRPC booklets ask for. The eighteen answers run in the booklet’s own order, Section A first, then Section B, then Section C, each one numbered so that the evaluator can match it to the question without hunting. Second, a front page laid out in the IGNOU format, carrying the fields the PGDRPC title-page instruction lists: enrolment number, name, address, programme, course code and title, assignment code, the Work Centre, and spaces for your signature and the date. The front page is free with every order. Third, a printed copy of the official question paper for the code and cycle you named, so that you can check every answer against the question it claims to answer before you sign. Fourth, the courier that carries it to your address, which sits inside the ₹320 figure.

No soft copy or PDF is sold. The product is the paper itself, written by hand, because the PGDRPC booklets ask for handwritten responses and a scan cannot be handed to a Work Centre coordinator as a submission.

What the bundle does not contain is anything for MPCL 075 or MPCL 076. Those are practical courses, they set no Tutor Marked Assignment in any PGDRPC booklet read for this page, and they are covered in their own section further down.

₹320 Reaches the Four Theory Courses, Not the Sixteen Practical Credits

The rate is ₹320 per subject, hard copy only, with courier included in that price and no separate shipping charge. There is no minimum order: one subject or fourteen, same rate. On this diploma the arithmetic is short, because no learner can owe more than four MPC papers in one admission cycle: one code is ₹320, two are ₹640, three are ₹960 and all four are ₹1,280.

Inside that figure sit the handwriting itself, the A4 ruled paper, the matching of the hand to your own sample, the IGNOU-format front page, the copy of the question paper and the courier to your door. Nothing is added at checkout for packing or shipping.

Outside it sit four things that no assignment publisher can sell. The programme fee belongs to IGNOU, and the July 2026 Common Prospectus records it as Rs. 22,000 for the diploma. Examination fees are set by the university separately. The two practical courses, worth 8 credits each, are completed through practical training rather than a written paper. And the journey to the Work Centre to hand the sets in is yours.

Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page. With a single cut-off more than a year after your admission, the useful planning question is not how many days a parcel takes but how many weeks you want for reading the answers before 30 September 2027.

Model Answers to Revise From, or Sheets a Work Centre Coordinator Will Take

Two different products share the word assignment, and a PGDRPC learner searching for help usually meets both. A solved assignment is a soft-copy reference file of model answers for a course code and session, read on a screen or printed to study from. A handwritten assignment is the answers written out by hand on A4 and submitted in hard copy, which on this diploma means handing it to the coordinator of the Work Centre allotted to you. This page sells only the second.

The difference is easy to see on PGDRPC because the booklets are blunt about format. The July 2026 MPC 074 paper tells learners: “Write the responses in your own hand.” The July 2026 MPC 071 paper adds: “Do not print or type the answers.” A typed printout of a reference file therefore fails the format instruction before anyone reads a word of it, whatever its content.

Honest scoping cuts both ways. A reference file is a perfectly sound way to prepare, provided you then write your own answers from it, and it is not a submission. A handwritten set is a submission format, and it still has to be read by you before you sign it, which is covered under the learner-responsibility lines at the end of this page. This store does not yet stock a PGDRPC reference file at all; learners looking for model answers on other diplomas will find them on the diploma solved-assignment shelf, which is the right place for that query rather than this page.

The four MPC codes are the whole written side of PGDRPC.

MPC 071 to MPC 074: The Four Courses That Each Set a TMA

The Common Prospectus July 2026 prints the PGDRPC programme in section 8.13 as six courses, four theory and two practical, totalling 32 credits. The four theory courses below are the complete list of codes this product writes. The prospectus prints the codes spaced and without a hyphen; the booklets and IGNOU’s live programme page print them hyphenated, and either form names the same course.

Scroll sideways for the assignment-code column. The MPC 074 code is shown exactly as the July 2026 paper prints it, with a space.

All four papers share one architecture, and it has not changed across the July 2024, July 2025 and July 2026 cycles read for this page. Each is out of 100 marks with every question compulsory. Section A sets three long answers at 15 marks each, about 1,000 words apiece. Section B sets five answers at 5 marks each, about 400 words apiece. Section C sets ten short answers at 3 marks each, about 50 words apiece. That is 18 answers and roughly 5,500 words per course, or about 22,000 handwritten words for the full diploma. That volume of handwriting is the real size of the job this product takes on.

The questions themselves change every cycle, though the topics recur. The July 2026 MPC 072 paper, for example, opens Section A with the principles of development and methods of studying it, then personality and individual differences, then trait theories, and its Section B covers Erikson’s psychosocial theory, stress, adjustment to disability, family relationships and the somato-psychological and ecological models of adjustment. The July 2024 paper for the same code asked overlapping but differently worded questions. A set written against one cycle’s paper is not a set for another cycle, which is why the order asks for your cycle as well as your codes.

One prefix trap is worth naming. MPC is also the prefix of IGNOU’s MA Psychology core courses, MPC 001 to MPC 006, and the course numbers 071 to 074 appear in the Common Prospectus July 2026 only inside the PGDRPC table. If a search for an MPC code returns a Cognitive Psychology or Statistics in Psychology paper, it has found the master’s degree, not this diploma.

MPCL 075 and MPCL 076: Sixteen Practical Credits With No Question Paper

Half of the PGDRPC credit total sits in two practical courses, and neither sets an assignment. The July 2026 instructions speak of one Tutor Marked Assignment for each theory course, the July 2024 consolidated booklet holds MPC 071 to MPC 074 and nothing else, and no MPCL assignment file surfaced in any search of IGNOU’s assignment files made for this page.

Scroll sideways on a narrow screen. The total row reproduces the prospectus figure of 32 credits: 4 × 4 + 2 × 8 = 32.

The prospectus describes the programme as recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India and built on practical training in disability and rehabilitation, and the practical credits are earned through that training rather than through writing. A handwritten set cannot stand in for a practical, and this product does not offer one. The store’s IGNOU practical files shelf currently stocks MA Psychology practical material, not anything written for MPCL 075 or MPCL 076, and should not be read as a PGDRPC practical service.

The prospectus prints all six courses under a single “Semester-I” heading, with no second-semester row, for a programme it gives a minimum duration of one year and six months. IGNOU’s live programme page labels all six “Year 1” instead. Neither document splits the four theory courses across terms, so for ordering purposes all four belong to the same admission cycle and the same cut-off.

Nineteen Readings of the PGDRPC Record That Do Not Agree

This page was built by reading the prospectus, IGNOU’s live programme page, the term-end paper and booklets from three admission cycles against one another. Sixteen disagreements came out of IGNOU’s own documents and three out of this store’s own pages. None of them changes what you submit, but several change what you copy onto the front page, and one changes which file you download.

Read these before you copy a code, a title or a date from any single PGDRPC document.

1. One semester heading for an eighteen-month diploma. The prospectus prints all six courses under “Semester-I” and states a 1 year and 6 month minimum duration; IGNOU’s live page labels every course “Year 1”.

2. A file named 2026 that holds the 2025 paper. The files MPC-072-2026.pdf and MPC-073-2026.pdf on ignou.ac.in carry the July 2025 cycle paper, due 30 September 2026. The July 2026 papers sit under a different naming pattern, MPC071-July-26.pdf to MPC074-July-26.pdf. Downloading by year in the file name gives the wrong paper.

3. Two labels for one intake on the same cover. Every booklet read calls the intake “Admission Cycle” on its cover and “Session” in the submission table.

4. A four-digit course number. The July 2024 and July 2025 booklets list the courses as “MPC-0071”, with an extra zero, in the course-list header while printing MPC-071 in the assignment itself.

5. The same slip on a different code. The July 2026 MPC 073 cover prints “MPC-0073”; every other line of that file prints MPC-073.

6. Three spellings of the MPC 074 code across two cycles. The July 2026 paper prints MPC-074 on its cover, MPC074 in its header and MPC 074/ASST/TMA/July 2026, with a space, as its assignment code. The July 2024 booklet printed MPC -074/ASST/TMA/July 2024, with the space on the other side of the hyphen.

7. Counselling or Counseling. The prospectus titles MPC 073 Rehabilitation Assessment and Counselling. The booklets and the live page print Counseling, and the July 2025 MPC 073 paper uses both spellings inside one file.

8. Community based or Community Based. The prospectus prints a lower-case “based” in the MPC 074 title; the booklets and the live page capitalise it.

9. Two hyphen styles on one live page. IGNOU’s programme page prints “Practical-I: Identification and Assessment” and “Practical II: Intervention”, one with a hyphen and one without, while the prospectus hyphenates both.

10. Three forms of the programme name. The prospectus prints Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology; the booklets print Postgraduate Diploma, as one word; the live page adds the word Programme and an ODL tag.

11. Misra or Mishra. The prospectus names the programme coordinator Dr. Monika Misra; the live page prints Dr. Monika Mishra, against the same mailbox, [email protected].

12. No intake month on the live page. The live programme page states no admission cycle at all; the prospectus states July only, with selection through an entrance test.

13. Typesetting faults in the eligibility line. The annexure prints “essentinal” and “SC/St/OBC” where the programme section prints “essential” and “SC/ST/OBC”.

14. A margin instruction that reads as one word. The July 2024 booklet asks for a 4cm margin on the left; the 2025 and 2026 files run it together as “a4cmmargin”, which a learner can misread.

15. Approximate or stipulated. The same instruction block calls the word limits approximate and then asks answers to stay within the stipulated word limit.

16. No weightage printed anywhere. None of the PGDRPC booklets read for this page states what share of the course result the assignment carries. The figure used on this page is IGNOU’s general rule, labelled as such.

17. In-house: no PGDRPC shelf exists on this store. There is no PGDRPC solved-assignment, guess-paper, previous-year or books category, and no product for any MPC 071 to MPC 074 code, so the links on this page point to the nearest real shelves and say so.

18. In-house: a study-centre-only submission step on the hub. The store’s handwritten-assignment category page describes submission only as handing the set to the coordinator of the study centre. PGDRPC sets go to the coordinator of the Work Centre allotted to you, as every MPC booklet states.

19. In-house: delivery figures this page does not repeat. The same hub page quotes delivery and writing times in working days and a ₹350 list price. This page promises no delivery figure; the ₹320 rate and the pin-code confirmation stated here are the current terms.

One Cut-Off Per Admission Cycle, Landing in the Following September

Many IGNOU booklets print two dates, one for each intake. PGDRPC prints one, because the programme admits learners in July only and selects them through an entrance test. The date sits in the submission table of every MPC booklet, and it falls on 30 September of the year after the admission cycle named on the cover.

The gap between a July admission and a September cut-off fourteen months later looks like a misprint, and it is easy to take for one. It is not a one-off: the same interval appears on the July 2024, July 2025 and July 2026 papers alike. It fits the shape of the programme, which runs for a minimum of eighteen months, and it fits the December 2025 term-end paper for MPC 074, which a July 2024 learner who submitted by 30 September 2025 would then be eligible to sit. The July 2026 instructions also make on-time submission of every assignment the condition for sitting the term-end examination, so missing this one date affects the examination as well as the assignment marks.

The pattern does not carry across the School of Social Sciences. Another SOSS diploma, PGDLAN, prints 30 September for its January intake and 31 March of the following year for July, two dates for two intakes, and the PGDLAN handwritten set on this store is written to that calendar instead. A date copied from a different diploma, even in the same school, is the commonest way to misjudge a PGDRPC deadline.

Papers expire with their cycle. The July 2026 questions replace the July 2025 questions; they are not added to them. If you are submitting late from an earlier cycle, ask your Work Centre coordinator which cycle’s paper to answer before ordering, and the set will be written against whichever paper you name.

MPC-072/ASST/TMA/July 2026: Writing the Code the Way the Cover Prints It

The PGDRPC assignment code has four parts. The course code comes first, hyphenated. ASST marks the document as an assignment. TMA marks it as tutor marked. The last part is the admission month written as a word, followed by the four-digit year of the cycle: July 2026, not 2026-27 and not a session span. Read together, MPC-072/ASST/TMA/July 2026 means the tutor-marked assignment for Psychosocial Issues in Disability set for learners admitted in July 2026.

That format is not the university-wide pattern. Many IGNOU programmes print a session span or a bare year, and several print no course code in the assignment code at all. On PGDRPC the code always names the course, always names the month, and changes only in the course number and the year.

The front-page rule is simple: copy the code from the header of the paper you are answering, character for character, rather than reconstructing it. If your July 2026 MPC 074 paper prints MPC 074/ASST/TMA/July 2026 with a space, the front page carries the same string. If your MPC 073 cover prints MPC-0073, the course code and title field should still read MPC-073, the form used on every other line of the file. The front page in each bundle is filled from the paper you name, and you check it before signing.

A Hand Matched to Yours Across Eighteen Answers Per Course

Send a photo of a page you have written yourself and the handwritten set is matched to your handwriting at no extra charge. The point is consistency with the person whose signature is on the front page. On a PGDRPC paper that consistency has to hold across about 5,500 words per course, so the writer works from your letterforms, your slant and your spacing for every section, from the first 1,000-word answer to the last 50-word note.

A sample comes back to you in the matched hand before you pay, so you see the result before committing to anything. Four courses written in one matched hand also read as one learner’s work across the set, which is what a coordinator receiving four bundles from the same enrolment number expects to see.

Picking the page to photograph for a paper this long

Choose a page of continuous prose rather than a list or a page of headings, ideally one written at your normal speed rather than your neatest. Long Section A answers are where a hand drifts, so a full page tells the writer more than a short note. Photograph it flat, in daylight, with the whole page in frame. A page of psychology notes is ideal because it shows how you write technical terms such as rehabilitation, psychosocial and counselling, which recur on every MPC paper. Send the sample page to the desk before any writing starts.

English Medium, a July-Only Intake, and Papers From Earlier Cycles

The service covers all mediums IGNOU issues the TMA paper in, at the same price. For PGDRPC that is a short list: the Common Prospectus July 2026 and IGNOU’s live programme page both give English as the only medium of instruction, and every MPC paper read for this page is in English. No Hindi PGDRPC paper was found on 14 October 2026.

Any session is accepted, current cycle or older, including backlog courses, at the same ₹320 per subject. On this diploma an older session means an earlier July intake: the July 2024 and July 2025 cycle papers are both still published, the first in a consolidated booklet on IGNOU’s webservices archive and the second in the files named 2026. The prospectus allows a maximum duration of three years, so a July 2024 learner can still be completing the diploma in 2027.

Because only one intake runs each year, a cycle mismatch is easy to spot. If your admission letter says July 2025, answer the paper headed July 2025 unless your Work Centre tells you otherwise, and state that cycle in your first message.

Codes, Cycle, Front-Page Details, Pin Code and a Photo: The Opening Message

A PGDRPC order needs five pieces of information and nothing beyond them.

  1. The course codes. Any of MPC 071, MPC 072, MPC 073 and MPC 074. Leave MPCL 075 and MPCL 076 out, since neither sets a paper.
  2. The admission cycle. July 2024, July 2025 or July 2026, as printed on your admission letter, so that the set is written against the right paper.
  3. The front-page details. Your name, enrolment number and address as they should appear, and the name of the Work Centre allotted to you, which the PGDRPC title page asks for.
  4. Your pin code. Delivery depends on it, and it is confirmed for your order before you pay.
  5. A photo of one page in your own hand. The sample described above, for matching.

There is no need to send a fee receipt, a hall ticket or a copy of the question paper. The paper is downloaded from ignou.ac.in for the cycle you name, and a copy travels with each bundle.

One cut-off for the July 2026 cycle: 30 September 2027.

Delivery depends on your pin code and is confirmed for your order before you pay. No figure is promised on this page.

Ask for a PGDRPC quote for one to four MPC papers

From the Parcel to the Work Centre Coordinator’s Receipt

When the parcel arrives, open each bundle against its question paper and read every answer. You sign the declaration on the assignment cover page, so you should read and review the content before submitting it, and satisfy yourself that it represents your own understanding of the course. The PGDRPC booklets are explicit on the point: the July 2024 PGDRPC booklet warns, “If you copy, you will get zero marks for the respective question.” Reading the answers, and being able to explain them to the person who evaluates them, is part of the work that stays with you.

Then fill the signature and date on each front page, check that the enrolment number, course code and assignment code match the paper, and tie the pages of each course together securely, as the booklet asks. Hand each course’s set to the coordinator of the Work Centre allotted to you. The PGDRPC booklets tell learners not to send the sheets to the Student Evaluation Division at headquarters, and to take a receipt and keep a photocopy of every assignment submitted. That receipt is your record if a submission is later queried.

Evaluation and the entry on your status record follow on IGNOU’s timetable, not this store’s. If an entry does not appear after a reasonable interval, the Work Centre coordinator and your Regional Centre are the offices to ask.

Psychology Shelves on This Store a PGDRPC Learner Can Use, and What Is Missing

This store does not yet carry any PGDRPC-specific study guide, guess paper or reference file, and the links below are offered for what they genuinely are rather than dressed up as diploma material. The full catalogue of handwritten IGNOU assignment sets lists every programme this desk writes for, which is useful if you also study a second IGNOU programme alongside the diploma.

For background reading, the IGNOU psychology books shelf holds guides to IGNOU’s MA Psychology courses. Two of them share a subject with PGDRPC papers: the MPC-002 Life Span Psychology guide is built around human development across the life span, the theme that opens the July 2026 MPC 072 paper, and the MPCE-21 Counselling Psychology guide shares its subject with the counselling side of MPC 073. On the disability side, the MEVE-005 disability studies guide was written for an environmental and occupational health course rather than for this diploma. None of these replaces the PGDRPC study material IGNOU sends, and none follows the MPC course structure.

For term-end revision on other diplomas, the diploma guess-paper collection is the nearest shelf, though it holds nothing for MPC codes yet. If your programme record shows a code this page does not list, or a session it does not mention, the customised handwritten order for any session takes an unusual request on the same per-subject terms.

If you would rather write the four MPC papers yourself, the sister site ignouproject.com publishes a step-by-step guide to writing an IGNOU handwritten assignment, covering layout, front pages and submission, which applies to PGDRPC once you substitute the Work Centre for the study centre.

Sixteen PGDRPC Doubts, Answered From the July 2026 Booklets

Which PGDRPC courses actually come with an assignment to write?

Four: MPC 071 Disability and Rehabilitation, MPC 072 Psychosocial Issues in Disability, MPC 073 Rehabilitation Assessment and Counselling, and MPC 074 Community based Rehabilitation. Each sets one 100-mark Tutor Marked Assignment per admission cycle. The two practical courses set none.

Is there anything to submit in writing for MPCL 075 or MPCL 076?

No Tutor Marked Assignment exists for either practical course in any PGDRPC booklet read for this page, and IGNOU’s July 2026 instructions speak of one TMA for each theory course only. Together the practicals carry 16 of the diploma’s 32 credits, and they are completed through practical training, which no written set can replace.

My July 2026 paper gives 30th September, 2027 as the last date. Is that a misprint?

It is very unlikely to be one. The July 2024 papers print 30 September 2025 and the July 2025 papers print 30 September 2026, the same fourteen-month interval, and it fits an eighteen-month programme with one July intake. Every booklet still asks you to confirm dates on ignou.ac.in, and that remains the final word.

I downloaded MPC-073-2026.pdf. Is that the paper for my July 2026 admission?

No. Despite its file name, that file holds the July 2025 cycle paper, with a last date of 30 September 2026. The July 2026 papers are the files named in the pattern MPC073-July-26.pdf. Check the cycle printed on the cover, not the year in the file name.

PGDRPC ka assignment kahan jama hota hai, study centre par ya Work Centre par?

At the Work Centre. Every MPC booklet tells you to hand the response sheets to the coordinator of the Work Centre allotted to you, and not to send them to the Student Evaluation Division at headquarters. Take a receipt and keep a photocopy of each set.

How do I write MPC-071/ASST/TMA/July 2026 on the front page?

Exactly as the header of your paper prints it. The code is the course code, then ASST, then TMA, then the month and year of your admission cycle. Copy it character for character, including the month written as a word, and do not convert it into a session span such as 2026-27.

The cover of my MPC 073 paper says MPC-0073. Which form goes on my front page?

MPC-073. The extra zero appears only on the cover of the July 2026 file; every other line in it, the prospectus and the live programme page all use the three-digit number. The same slip, MPC-0071, appears in the course list of the 2024 and 2025 booklets.

How much writing does one MPC paper actually come to?

About 5,500 words: three Section A answers of about 1,000 words, five Section B answers of about 400 words and ten Section C answers of about 50 words. Across all four theory courses that is roughly 22,000 handwritten words, on A4 ruled sheets with a 4 cm left margin.

Can a reference file of MPC 072 model answers be printed and handed in at the Work Centre?

Not as a submission. The PGDRPC booklets ask for responses in your own hand and forbid printed or typed answers, so a printout fails on format alone. A reference file is for studying from; a submission has to be handwritten on A4 ruled paper.

For a rehabilitation psychology learner, what separates a reference file from a written MPC set?

What you do with it. A reference file of model answers is read, then you write your own submission from it. A written MPC set is already in the handwritten format the booklet asks for, with a front page and the question paper, and you read and review it before signing and handing it in. This page sells only the written set.

Rehabilitation psychology ka assignment type karke jama kar sakte hain kya?

Not according to the booklet. The July 2026 MPC 071 paper says not to print or type the answers, and the MPC 074 paper asks for responses in your own hand. A typed set does not meet the PGDRPC format instruction.

Is a Hindi-medium PGDRPC paper available?

None was found. The Common Prospectus July 2026 and IGNOU’s live programme page both list English as the only medium of instruction, and every MPC paper read on 14 October 2026 is in English. The service covers whichever medium IGNOU issues, and for this diploma that is English.

I joined in July 2024 and still owe MPC 074. Can that paper be written?

Yes, at the same ₹320. The July 2024 papers are still published in IGNOU’s consolidated booklet for that cycle. Since its printed date has passed, confirm with your Work Centre coordinator which cycle’s paper you should now answer, and name that cycle in your order.

MPC 071 and MPC-001 both start with MPC. Are they the same course series?

No. MPC 001 to MPC 006 are core courses of IGNOU’s MA Psychology, while MPC 071 to MPC 074 appear in the Common Prospectus July 2026 only in the PGDRPC table. A paper titled Cognitive Psychology or Statistics in Psychology belongs to the master’s degree, not to this diploma.

What happens to my term-end examination if one MPC assignment is not submitted?

The July 2026 instructions make on-time submission of all assignments the condition for being eligible to appear in the term-end examination. A missing MPC set can therefore cost the examination attempt as well as the assignment marks. Your Regional Centre can confirm how that rule applies to your record.

Does this page claim anything about the marks a written MPC set will earn?

No. No claim is made about the marks any assignment will receive, about how an evaluator will assess it, or about whether it will be accepted. The PGDRPC booklets print no weightage figure, and evaluation is entirely IGNOU’s business.

Eleven IGNOU Files and One Price List, Read Separately

Every factual line on this page comes from one of three sources, and they are kept apart here so that you can tell which kind of statement you are reading.

From the Common Prospectus July 2026. The programme entry in section 8.13 gave the six course codes and titles, the course types, the credits (16 theory plus 16 practical, totalling 32, which was checked by adding the rows), the single “Semester-I” heading, the RCI recognition, the English medium, the entrance-test selection and the coordinators’ names. The annexure row gave the duration of one year and six months with a three-year maximum, the Rs. 22,000 fee, the July-only cycle and the eligibility text with its two typesetting faults.

From IGNOU’s live pages and booklets. The PGDRPC programme page on ignou.ac.in gave the hyphenated codes, the Counseling spelling, the Year 1 labels, the 18 and 36 month durations and the Mishra spelling. The July 2026 papers for MPC 071, MPC 072, MPC 073 and MPC 074 gave the 30th September, 2027 date, the assignment codes, the question pattern, the A4 ruled and 4 cm margin instruction, the handwriting instruction, the Work Centre submission rule and the term-end eligibility condition. The July 2025 files for MPC 072 and MPC 073 and the July 2024 consolidated booklet and MPC 071 file gave the earlier dates and code forms. The December 2025 term-end paper for MPC 074 is consistent with an examination sitting that follows a July 2024 cut-off. All were read on 14 October 2026 from the IGNOU assignment download service and its file directory.

From Shri Chakradhar Publication’s own terms. The ₹320 rate, the hard-copy-only format, the courier, the free front page, the question-paper copy, the handwriting match, the no-minimum rule and the pin-code delivery confirmation are the publisher’s commercial terms, not IGNOU’s, and IGNOU has no part in them.

Assignments carry 30 per cent of the final course result and the term-end examination carries the remaining 70 per cent. That split is IGNOU’s general rule for theory courses; the PGDRPC booklets themselves print no weightage figure, so the programme guide on eGyanKosh is the place to confirm it for this diploma.
